Untouchable​

In the wake of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago, public outrage at organized crime forced 31st President of the United States of America, Herbert Hoover, to take action. He immediately charged Andrew Mellon, the Secretary of the Treasury with bringing down Al Capone and the notorious Chicago Outfit, the organization suspected of the aforementioned massacre.

The fight against organized crime in Chicago began immediately, with investigators, police, and Prohibition agents conducting raids and arrests on any of Capone's men and associates no matter where they were and who they were.

Leading the charge on the streets was Prohibition agent Eliot Ness and his incorruptible team of agents known as The Untouchables. Known for their remarkable ability to harm Capone's business and immunity to bribes, The Untouchables were seen as a force to be reckoned with.

The Untouchables' reputation lead to them inspiring their fellow law enforcement comrades to answer the call of duty and take on the Chicago Outfit as well. One such group of mob fighters decided that fighting the mob within the law was a much slower process and didn't often yield the results they wanted to see. They made the choice to fight the mob both within the law and outside it.

They began a crusade against organized crime in Chicago using vigilante justice in the wee hours of the night. But, eventually their vigilante antics would catch up with them and, in some cases, would destroy lives.

Untouchable is the story of Chicago's night-time vigilantes and how they weakened the mob using mob tactics. How they fought fire with fire and got burned.

A historical crime-noir, it seeks to be as accurate as possible while still taking enough creative liberties to remain fun and engaging.

Character Information​

Because the story takes place in the 1920s, there are some limitations depending on which kind of character you play.

When it comes to the Mob Fighters, most of them will have to be male. Law enforcement was dominated by men, black, white, and so on.

But, they work outside of the law, allowing a few civilian women to join them on streets that may harbor a grudge against the American mob and prove themselves capable.

I want to keep that down to at least three female vigilantes who actually get involved in the rough stuff. There's room for more that take less dangerous roles. Women acting as decoys, those who work in speakeasies and pass along information.

There's also room for players to also play mobsters aligned with, against, Al Capone. For those aligned with Al Capone, they will mostly be Caucasian, primarily Italian and Jewish, though you can go African American if you're inclined. Capone wasn't picky.

Rule List​

• Stick as close to history as possible. That means no modern weapons, vehicles, or terms.
• Feed Saarai souls.
• No metagaming.
• No godmoding.
• Don't compete, collaborate. We're here to tell a story together, not write the most badass character.
• No non-Italians can be members of the Chicago Outfit, but for those of you who will be playing criminals you can have non-Italians as associates, allies, or hired help for Capone.
• Limited room for female police officers, but they are allowed.
• Realistic art, or actual pictures, only for characters. Nothing too much along the lines of Fruits Basket.

Appearance: Jason - Thanks to his tall and lanky form, Jason was forced to work out at an early age to get an overall muscular and toned frame. Despite his slightly long dark brown hair starting out neat, it always winds up messy. The front part constantly drops into his silver eyes while the top and back spikes out with the help of gel. By the time he’s finished with whatever task he’s attempting to complete, the spikes are less than defined and it sort of just looks unkempt, but attractive. He is often seen wearing a skin-tight black sleeveless shirt with a black unzipped hooded jacket. The sleeves and pockets are crimson red and the bottom trim is red and black. Although he rarely has sun exposure, his flesh has a light tan appearance to it. While at work or conducting business, he is forced to wear a white short sleeved t-shirt that buttons up the front with a black vest and blue slacks. In addition, he has a black tie. Lastly, he has a pair of black dress shoes to wear while working.


Personality Description: Jason has been described as being a slithering snake. He always knows exactly what to say and can have complete strangers eating out of his hands within minutes. This works out perfectly for him because of his business dealings. However, his domineering personality often leads to terrible things for anyone that crosses him. He’s smart enough to know better than to do things on his own and has a whole crew of patsies to do his dirty work.


Special Skills: Smooth talker, ability to get things done that seem impossible, crackpot safe technician, and boozer.

Weaknesses: His ego tends to get him to do things that are often rash and ultimately, his slithering snake persona tended to also be an issue.


Personal History: Jason’s history has been as classified as he could possibly make it. He learned at an early age from his no-good father how to manipulate people into doing what needed to be done and once he was old enough to start his own business, he used that knowledge to quickly rise to the top. He was savvy enough to keep under the radar of the police as his business grew. He started to delve into the dirtier side of the city, doing whatever he could to make the most money and please the most people. What he did exactly wasn’t clear to anyone outside of his inner circle and he intended to keep it that way. He was always on the look of the best of the best and was determined to rise. That all changed however when he decided to fight against the organized crime that threatened his business. He decided to apply to the law enforcement and ended up moving into the mob fighters and while he was doing what he needed to help them, he was learning how to make his own business better.


Occupation: Law Enforcement


Family: Jason’s parents died shortly after he turned eighteen in a shootout that turned nasty. He was an only child and while there were possibilities that he had fathered children, he did not claim any and did not claim any women either, at least not in an intimate manner.


Additional Information: Jason has a variety of weapons, which include switch blades and brass knuckles in addition to shotguns, automatic guns, machine guns, and pistols.
