Throughout the hangar bay was a grand flash of light. Elliot yelled angrily as he slammed a palm on the ground, shooting out energy and causing the entire room to shake. Crates around Elliot toppled over, but otherwise, there was no damage to the room or the shield surrounding them. The security personnel posted at the door looked fearful but ready for action. "That wasn't for you," he snapped at the guards, before turning his attention back to the others.
"Dancing? Really? Are you all really so foolish to treat this as some kind of party? Our prison wardens are likely laughing at you-- laughing at all of us! This is embarrassing!" Elliot growled and clasped his hands together angrily. "We should be discussing our strengths and weaknesses, not how massive our chests are. We should be devising a plan to escape for when talking inevitably fails! We are only prisoners if we allow ourselves to be! I will not be associated with this... this ineptitude."
"The keypad has long since been destroyed," he said to Helghast. "Do your eyes not work? It's the damn force field that's the issue!"
Elliot walked over to Titus and Vader, bristling. "You two. As far as I can tell, you are the few I can look to for any common sense."

Burnham gave the four 'ambassadors' a wary sideways glance before she answered Saru. "I would say the most likely possibility does indeed lie with the mycelial warp," she said, though it took her a moment to look back to the Captain. "Whether unintentional or intentional, it's likely caused a singularity, bringing disparate elements from across either space itself or possibly other universes. But to know for sure will be impossible until Engineering runs further tests."
The Science Officer did not comment on Saru's plan to reverse the vibrational signatures of their guests, for she could not say one way or the other how effective that would be. If they were dealing with alternate universes, Burnham doubted it would be so simple.
To Emily, she said, "I'm afraid we're not familiar with such kinds of powers. Tears in space are... anomalies. Are you saying your friend can conjure such a phenomenon at will?" Burnham sounded downright perturbed. Such an ability could even be the cause of all this in some way, especially if this individual was now experiencing complications with this ability.
After Sheila voiced her concerns, Burnham exhaled a long breath. "Permission to speak, Captain?" When Saru gave her a nod, she continued. "It is my belief they are not all one unit. Considering the age range and the disposition of some of their group, it would be highly improbable that they are all trained for such perfect deception. At the very least, we can not point a finger at them as a whole. Still, one of them did almost kill one of our crew and I was forced to--" Burnham paused to clear her throat, as if embarrassed. "To threaten them with the idea that we would shoot them out into space. Truly, it was not a real option and all I could think of to remedy the situation."
Burnham gave the four a sympathetic look. Hopefully, they understood.

“He’s right.”
“What?”

We were kidnapped from our homes, our families, our friends! Whether it was some dirty Blues or some multiversal mishap, I don’t know. But what I do know is that we’re all here for a reason. And whether or not we like it, we’re stuck here like a bunch of sitting ducks.
Some of you feel lost. Some of you feel scared. Some of you don’t even know what the hell’s going on. And believe me, I’ve felt all of those feelings at some point or another.
But that doesn’t mean we should give up! In fact, I think it means quite the opposite! But we won’t ever leave if we’re sitting around on our asses playing pattie-cake. And I don’t know about all of you, but I don’t wanna sit in some damn hangar on some damn spaceship for the rest of my life.
So I say we get off our asses and show these bastards what it means to fight! Who’s with me?”
