"Let's eat and then go touch things!" Alec grinned, flexing his fingers ominously. Xander snorted as he pointed the way to the cafe. "I don't know if he's to be trusted, Ba."

"Could we do the touch tank after eating? Then we don't have to worry about literal fish food even if we wash well," Alec requested. "Makes sense," Xander agreed.

"Maybe it snuck in. Gulls are very intelligent," Alec said brightly. "It is basically an open snack bar in here," Xander snickered. "What are we going to see next?"

Alec grinned as he stood up. He reached out and gripped Dark's arm briefly. "Thank you for bringing us." Then he got distracted. "Look! That seagull is teasing a fish in that pond!" Xander glanced at Ivy briefly and smiled before following Alec. "It was cool."

"I think that was the coolest thing I've ever seen!" Alec grinned. "Did you see the way they moved? They have such a weird way of moving! And barking! Kind of barking. So weird! And then they get in the water and zip! So graceful and fast!" "That was pretty cool," Xander admitted.

Alec clapped enthusiastically, completely entranced by the sea lions. He tried to watch all of them at once, oohing and ahing over every little trick. Xander was not nearly as emotive as his brother, but he was just as interested. He watched in silence, mostly tracking whichever sea lion was...

"It was something to do while waiting," Xander said with a shrug. "When does it start?" Alec asked. He went to look at his watch and realized he wasn't wearing one.

Xander's heart pinched, but he gave her a smile. "It's okay. I'm right here. Just a little farther." He looked up to make sure he wasn't going to run into anyone, and in a few seconds pulled up in front of Dark. "See? Here's Ba!"

Xander adjusted the stroller cover so she could see him. "Hey, Mini. We're heading back to Ba. We'll be there in just a second."

Xander stood and took the handles of the stroller. Quietly, he walked away from Dark and Alec, going down the front until he found a good spot to turn around and then heading back. As he did, he heard another father talking to his kids in an exasperated tone. The kids were being a bit whiny...
