Oh, Concordia! OOC

Lovely. I hate him.

Perfect timing. I'd like to introduce the first candidate for the Exemplarhood, Chrysanthos Makris...

EDIT: If you're faster than I can edit, yes, I see the irony in my messing up and not going with the right Greek alphabet name 🤣

Time to spread some pique. Y'all think they were chosen at random (ICly, just play along :p), Mr. Hypocrisy-Only-Counts-For-The-Masses and his employers think they were picked at random. But what do the Concordian AI's think?

Here's a peak behind the GM screen at my random notes—obviously back-crafted after the fact and only based on the bits of characterizations as I clocked them—in order words, they won't match 100% with your vision of course—for how the AI's see the group!

🤯 Metaphorically speaking, the—that is to say, an option as defined by planned/expected/likely thematic resonance vibes—ending is in there. Holy serendipity, Batman 🤯

Sometimes
Slowly
Time brings revelation
Waiting
Softly
For someone to believe
That the ghosts we've hidden or left to die
Have now arisen and will arrive
To say what has happened
Say what has happened
Say what has happened
To me
And who would have thought
That you'd be the one
That I would have found here waiting
Lost in this night
Until you arrived
And always too blind to see
And who would have thought
That after this time
That I'd be the one you're saving
Now undisguised
The ghosts that survive
Now say what was meant to be
I never wanted to give my life away
Who ever thought it would matter any way
Wandering inside this night
Finding pieces of a life
Never sure I'd ever know what it means
It's the strangers in your life
That you'd never thought you'd meet
It's the hand that picked you up
When you're laying in the street
It's the hand that cut you down
It's the dream that someone shared
When you thought that all was lost
It's the friend that wasn't there
You can run from all the memory
But never get that far
For in the end they'll find you
For this is who you are
Change one note
Change one line
Nothing's going to be the same
Change one loss
Change one cut
Everything is re-arranged
Every act
Cruel or kind
Lost inside our memory
If you look
There in time
You'll find it in
Find it in
Find it in
You'll find it in me

Are we all still doing alright with the plans here? Is a shake up desired to break their conversation? There's angles and entities by the wings that can disrupt, if the smarmy word-play laden pre-going upstairs conversation ain't doing it for posting inspiration.

I.e; I was very explicit with the intro, about the fact the thing that did the Albrecht murdering ain't around to be seen, ergo, it could still be within the building. I can re-enact iRobot here. Or any other number of tropes also at my disposal.

Just gotta know if we're not just holiday/time paused but rather stymied or not entertained enough; I won't be offended. It's my self-taken role here as the GM and I'm the kind that rather mold to the players than otherwise, within reason.

I have to admit, I had a lapsus with this one, I was going to go for a post soon, but I lost myself a bit in all the possible things to be done. I don't want to say I am overwhelmed, but I do admit I do have a bit of undecision on where to go from here. Not your fault at all though, I just need to get it together.

I would have to know how the others wish to procced, but I can still force myself to get something out.

No issues on your end just been my rough couple weeks. Will try for a post tmrw

Hello again gang. Sorry it's been a bit and I let things on this project slip into the wayside. I know there were some posting frequency situations some were facing, and for my part I left things a bit too open on the pre-setting "character stretching" where a more direct hand probably would have helped.

If you guys are still willing to continue, I'm happy to pick up where we left off, and to save anyone the trouble of who's next post, I would take the next post and make it immediately move the group to the beginning of the mystery solving action with some minor aplomb to get everyone facing the same direction before we proceed, so to speak.

Alternatively, if you guys aren't feeling it anymore, I'm happy to just OOCly reveal the couple of plot twists and plans just so I can unburden my brain from the possibilities, and we all move on to other things. I leave it to you guys, with no hard feelings on whatever you each choose!

I know my post speeds been kinda abysmal but wouldn't mind trying to keep at it if others do. Was hoping to try for posts tmrw (bit late for me to try right now)

I'm honestly on board to continue, the offer of a helping hand to get a specific direction for this would be great! Apologies for my own lack of input too, no excuse at all but I've been having issues even with my own stories due to how tired I'm ending the day with my job :')

Know I will do my best to post timely if we continue!

I have mixed feelings. I think it's a neat setting, but Vasia is a very difficult character to write (very prose heavy, lots of descriptive passages, etc). I like writing that sort of thing if I can keep it going, but it is really hard to get back into the right frame of mind for her posts if it's been a while since the last round. I haven't been happy with my last couple from a writing standpoint, and I don't want every post to be a struggle or to end up with a lot of writing I'm not happy with.

I'm good to keep going! Sorry for the delayed response, I don't check the forums super often since I'm so used to being tagged elsewhere when there's a post or something I gotta reply to/read :emoji_sweat_smile:

I understand completely. Regretfully, I do not have a guaranteed solution: Anything I could promise to ameliorate feelings of delay would at best only count for myself.

If you elect to drop from the narrative, no hard feelings. I am willing and happy to work on changes, revisions, or contrivances to keep your participation whether it is with Vasia or a new character, but I simply can't bind the rest of the writing group except in the loosest of terms:

@ItsFulgrim, @Azra, @Script
Does anyone object to a weekly post minimum, tentative floor being one (1) post a week at the least? This would include me too, of course.

Can't object, I need to exercise my writing more often, 1 per week minimum is perfect for me.

If for any reason I struggle to do my part at any point i'd let you know so we can fix that by either skipping my turn or anything you see fit, just to ensure I don't hold anyone back.

But I am happy to go for the minimum anyone else picks too.

I'm willing to give it a try on continuing, I just wanted to express the feelings I've been having. I think if it gets really ridiculously hard to keep writing her, I could always write her out and pick up someone with a simpler writing style instead. I still like the idea of the challenge, I just may have bitten off a bit much for myself.

Just posting here for posterity's sake since Dash messaged me on discord already, but I'm good with the 1 post a week idea!
