20-30 years on average, but some can go Feral in as few as 10, just as some have some have been known to go almost their entire life without completely going Feral. It just depends on the Familiar. It's kind of like life-and-death, it's stalking you like your shadow and you never know when...
It varies from individual to individual. Typically less "domestic"-type familiars go Feral faster, just because they're encouraged to stay in their human form more than Familiars who can pass as pets, which advances the process of Ferality. (Someone should start researching a Cure *hint*)
