My name is Bakingsoda. I have a gender, I don't meet the requirements to use it though so I don't equip it, but you may use she/they!
I'm currently reading old fantasy novels like The Real Of The Elderling series by Robin Hobb. I finished the first trilogy which was very emotional and captivating read that has stuck with me. I'm currently jumping to the Tawny Man trilogy and will double back to the Live Ship trilogy later. I'm also reading Dragon Riders of Pern by Anne MacCaffery and I'm on book two at the moment, it has its flaws but I was charmed by the first book.
My favourite read of 2025 was This Is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone, a beautifully poetic novella about two women on opposing sides of a war through time, that exchange letters at first to thwart one another and later as they fall in love. I highly recommend it, particularly the audio book which I will be returning to as I adored the narrators voices.
Outside of novels I like to crochet and am working on a lace skirt, a "shruggie" and a clown themed collar (with the ruffles) for a costume. I also felt, paint watercolours and collect note books like any sane person does!
