Ralf Valgard
Appearance: Ralf Valgard stands 6'5 and weighs 160 lbs. He is a tall, strong, athletically-built man: common traits among the Varan of Asgeir. He has dark brown hair which is often pulled back, a fair complexion, and dark blue eyes.
Equipment:
Steel Sword: A standard steel longsword. This is Ralf's primary weapon which he often wields alongside his round shield or axe.
Ancestral Blade: An ancient blade forged over a thousand years ago, passed down from one Valgard to the next. The material used to craft the weapon is lighter than steel, extremely sharp, and is practically resistant to damage. Runic inscriptions run down the length of the darkly colored blade. A wolf's head sits at the pommel. Ralf never uses this weapon, completely oblivious to its benefits. Varan folklore claims ancestral weapons hold great power thanks to the runes, though no Varan has used such power for a thousand years.
Round Shield: A round, wooden shield enforced with steel plating. Ralf can wield the shield with ease and uses it like a weapon alongside his axe or steel sword. Ralf maintains the image of a blue field and a white wolf's head on it.
Axe: A standard iron axe. Ralf uses this as a tool, usually to chop wood, although he can wield it like a weapon as well.
Ki'gar: Ralf drapes his Ki'gar over one shoulder and hangs it around his neck. It is blue with a white wolf's head and the name "VALGARD" beneath it.
Skills and Abilities: Ralf is an excellent warrior, preferring to fight with a sword and shield. He wears medium armor to maintain a balance between protection and agility. Ralf's fighting style typically involves a combination of a solid defense and quick movement.
Ralf is an avid hunter and so is proficient in the bow, though he rarely uses one in battle. Alongside this he is also a survivalist and can survive on his own in the wilds.
