Clue [the movie] Musings

So, I was watching Clue last night and got to thinking...

The aliases match their occupation for the most part. Bare with me as I lay this all out. It made sense at 4am, but not sure if it will now, haha.

Okay.

Professor Plum - He is or was a Psychiatrist.
Mr. Green - He stated in the movie that he was Gay. Also said in one of the endings that he was a plant... I think. Plants are green. o.o; Maybe that one isn't best.
Mrs. Peacock - Her husband was a politician, so she's a politician's wife.
Mrs. White - She is a Widow... of five guys.
Colonel Mustard - He is/was a military guy.
Mr. Boddy - He was the blackmailer
Ms. Scarlet - She ran a sex house thingy... >>;


What are your thoughts?

Well wasn't Mr. Green also supposed to be an accountant? Sure it was his 'cover' in that one ending, but you could also go, money = green. Green could also go for 'new' but not sure how well that fits in to anything.
Mr. Boddy's career was also technically being a corpse in a murder mystery so I think it's very fitting lol.

Everyone else, yeah that more or less makes sense. Except the psychiatrist part, I can see how professor would lead to that, but why plum? tbh don't remember enough of the movie to be making that in depth of an analysis lol.
