With the 8th console generation in full swing, it's only fair to look back at previous generations and how they shaped gaming into the powerhouse it is today.
What console generation is your favorite and why? For me, it would have to be this one:
I love this generation because it was the one that solidified me as a gamer. It also had the most innovation both software and hardware wise in my opinion and to me, it was the last generation that actually showed uniqueness between the consoles.
My favorite console from this generation is obviously the PS2 for many reasons but I also adore the Xbox (which is criminally underrated). As for the GameCube, while I don't treasure it as much as others do, I still enjoyed it and found it to be a positive experience.
As for the Dreamcast, these are my main thoughts about it:
