This is a WORK IN PROGRESS. I still need to do a lot of tweaks, but here is the basic idea:
What I aim for:
- This can be for a group, or a simple 1x1, I have no particular preference as I am currently facing too much free time, and need anything to write to escape.
- IF taken as a group, I will kindly ask for a weekly post, or, every week and a half, I am more than willing to arrange any timing if you have issues, but, communication is key, please, keep me updated.
- I am not opposed to cliche as long as it makes sense, so if for whatever reason there's a found family, enemies to love interest, or rivalry sub-plot... Feel free to use it!
While this is aimed for a super power discovery or growth plot, I am more than happy to receive Non Superpowered folk, it always keeps things spicy.
I have not yet decided where to begin, so, if you want to head into it before I get anything going, brainstorming is in order! I am super open to ideas at the moment! Please, I am so desperate.
In the beginning, Earth was nothing short of ordinary, a silent world of survival, a stage where humanity struggled against the cruelty of nature. That was, until the cosmos itself intervened. Whether by fate, divine intention, or sheer randomness, the universe gifted select individuals with extraordinary abilities. These chosen few transcended the limitations of their kind, becoming legends, some even worshipped as gods by ancient civilizations unable to comprehend their power.
Yet time, the unrelenting adversary of all things mortal, forced these superhuman beings to leave behind only echoes of their existence, carved into myths, whispered in legends, and most importantly, hidden within their descendants' genes. But these genes were elusive, often dormant, buried deep within bloodlines. Many never awakened, leaving those who carried them unaware of their extraordinary potential. And those whose powers did emerge found themselves feared, outcast from society, spoken of only in hushed voices, urban legends, if they were unlucky enough.
As centuries passed, the slumbering genes remained rare. That changed in the 1940s.
A new breed of superhumans began to emerge, ones who bore a unique mark upon their bodies: four diamonds arranged in perfect symmetry. They were soon dubbed Tetra Humans. At first, their appearances were sporadic, their numbers small. Many found their abilities underwhelming, simple feats such as generating small flames, enhanced reflexes, or modest boosts in strength. However, the world soon learned that power was like a muscle, it could be trained, refined, and expanded.
More importantly, the fusion of two compatible Tetra genes often resulted in offspring with even greater potential.
By the dawn of the 21st century, latent abilities had spread through nearly every bloodline on Earth. Yet, despite their growing presence, Tetra Humans remained an overwhelming minority, a rarity among billions. Society had not evolved quickly enough to welcome them. Instead, fear and distrust festered, exacerbated by the rise of criminals who abused their gifts for personal gain.
The rise of crime gave birth to something else, a new age of vigilantism. Ordinary people and Tetra Humans, unwilling to let the world succumb to chaos, took it upon themselves to fight back. Some worked from the shadows, others stood proudly as heroes. Over time, their efforts transformed small-time fights into grand battles between those who sought justice and those who thrived in destruction.
But among these heroes, some transcended the simple label of vigilante.
A select few became more than just defenders. they became icons, legends in their own right. Their unwavering dedication to justice, selflessness in the face of adversity, and willingness to stand against tyranny turned them into symbols of hope. Some were revered by the masses, idolized like modern demigods. To the people, they were saviors, champions, protectors who embodied the very best of what humanity could strive to be.
Now, in 2025, Tetra Humans face their greatest challenge yet: a world that cannot decide their fate.
Governments have taken notice, their eyes watching with growing concern. Some see them as weapons, tools to be wielded in global conflicts. Others fear their power, working behind the scenes to contain them, seeking to strip away their freedom under the guise of security. Some Tetra Humans submit, joining ranks in military programs, believing it their duty. Others resist, evading capture and control, determined to forge their own path.
Endangered. Hunted. A minority on the brink of oppression.
Yet, despite the world’s uncertainty, one undeniable truth remains: there will always be heroes, those willing to fight for what is right, no matter the cost.
