Hi, I'm Salsacookies, I'm sure you've noticed me in the chat, but I never formally introduced myself. In other Forums, I tend to just get to work immediately once I've joined, foundinf something that interests me, (or coming with an idea of my own), and joining the community that way. Now that I just tried getting into Gattletownes' Steampunk RP to discover I can't post, here I am.

I've been RPing off and on for about 4 years, drifting from site to site, and attempting to start my own, only to lose interest later. Now that I'm twenty, going on twenty-one, I hope to have developed a good enough sense of focus to actually be a good GM.

My favorite genre is Horror, though I adore hybrid genres, like steampunk, and its cousins. Currently I'm particularly interested in the idea of Rock Fantasy which is basically High-Fantasy and Space Opera meets Hard Rock and Metal, though I'll be sure to add in a good dose of extreme horror, to represent the darker metals, like Grindcore, and Drone Metal.

The brief intro period isn't something that everyone is familiar with, but I assure it's a relatively painless process. Most people get approved within an hour or two of some healthy interaction in our community forums. That can be accomplished within the introduction forum by interacting with other new users, or the main lobby if you find some threads in there that catch your interest to participate in.

In the meanwhile if you need help with anything, just ask. :)
 
Eh... Depends on who you ask.

To simply state the objective facts though:
1. There's been a recent migration (again). Only this time from Iwaku to here. Probably knew that one already though. :p
2. The Admins have stepped down and within a few weeks three of the Banmins will be announced as the new Admins.
3. And Gwazi Shitposting has been less frequent lately.

Otherwise? Same as usual as far as I can tell.

I've been good. I just started RPing again, after looking through a bunch of different RP forums, to find nothing I really liked. That's really about it, wandering around, then stopped for awhile, before a talk with my step uncle got me started again.
I had a story idea, but I doubt I could make it a big deal, because of copyright and music royalties. So I decided to make an RP instead. Gonna link my uncle to it once I get it started, I think it will be good.
