Mizelia turns towards Meiji "Ah... So at least that is underway. I suppose we can wait. Gives me also some time to get rid of that pain in my lek." Mizelia said as she looks around for a moment "Who are those here? And what ship are we on? And who are these people?" she then asked.
“Uhh... well the cockbite in red armor is my Commanding Officer, Sarge. The giant robot next to him is Starscream. And I’m sure you know who Darth Vader is.”

"Anything in particular we should know of him?" Mizelia asked.

“Who? Vader?” Grif asked before briefly turning to Vader and then back to Mizelua. “Well, he’s a badass Sith Lord that can force choke practically anyone to death. So you probably don’t wanna fuck with him.

Oh, and he’s Luke Skywalker’s dad. Spoiler alert, by the way.”

Grif then put two and two together, causing him to almost facepalm his helmet. “Right! You two must be from his universe! Which explains why you both look so um... Star Wars-ey.

But... then how do you not know who Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker are? Unless you’re from the past, and he’s from the future, which means...

"It might be from after us? If this Luke Skywalker is real. Hmm... Would you by any chance know Satele Shan? Or her ancestor Bastila Shan?" Mizelia asked.
"Wait a second, what do you mean with multiversal travel? We're just in the known Galaxy. What you are saying now doesn't make much sense." Meceliss asked with a raised eyebrow.

Throughout the hangar bay was a grand flash of light. Elliot yelled angrily as he slammed a palm on the ground, shooting out energy and causing the entire room to shake. Crates around Elliot toppled over, but otherwise, there was no damage to the room or the shield surrounding them. The security personnel posted at the door looked fearful but ready for action. "That wasn't for you," he snapped at the guards, before turning his attention back to the others.

"Dancing? Really? Are you all really so foolish to treat this as some kind of party? Our prison wardens are likely laughing at you-- laughing at all of us! This is embarrassing!" Elliot growled and clasped his hands together angrily. "We should be discussing our strengths and weaknesses, not how massive our chests are. We should be devising a plan to escape for when talking inevitably fails! We are only prisoners if we allow ourselves to be! I will not be associated with this... this ineptitude."

"The keypad has long since been destroyed," he said to Helghast. "Do your eyes not work? It's the damn force field that's the issue!"

Elliot walked over to Titus and Vader, bristling. "You two. As far as I can tell, you are the few I can look to for any common sense."

Burnham gave the four 'ambassadors' a wary sideways glance before she answered Saru. "I would say the most likely possibility does indeed lie with the mycelial warp," she said, though it took her a moment to look back to the Captain. "Whether unintentional or intentional, it's likely caused a singularity, bringing disparate elements from across either space itself or possibly other universes. But to know for sure will be impossible until Engineering runs further tests."

The Science Officer did not comment on Saru's plan to reverse the vibrational signatures of their guests, for she could not say one way or the other how effective that would be. If they were dealing with alternate universes, Burnham doubted it would be so simple.

To Emily, she said, "I'm afraid we're not familiar with such kinds of powers. Tears in space are... anomalies. Are you saying your friend can conjure such a phenomenon at will?" Burnham sounded downright perturbed. Such an ability could even be the cause of all this in some way, especially if this individual was now experiencing complications with this ability.

After Sheila voiced her concerns, Burnham exhaled a long breath. "Permission to speak, Captain?" When Saru gave her a nod, she continued. "It is my belief they are not all one unit. Considering the age range and the disposition of some of their group, it would be highly improbable that they are all trained for such perfect deception. At the very least, we can not point a finger at them as a whole. Still, one of them did almost kill one of our crew and I was forced to--" Burnham paused to clear her throat, as if embarrassed. "To threaten them with the idea that we would shoot them out into space. Truly, it was not a real option and all I could think of to remedy the situation."

Burnham gave the four a sympathetic look. Hopefully, they understood.

"Personally, I'm not so fond of thinking up loopholes for the Prime Directive, but indeed, we'd do well to get ourselves out of this predicament before anything else," Saru initially sighed, before looking to Sheila, shaking his head, "Of course not! The Federation does not make prisoners out of anyone for no reason; that is to say, we are not so barbaric as you might assume. If you're truly as harmless as you claim to be, and are able to prove so, we will take care of you to the best of our ability," he continued. Sheila's remarks about there being children caused the alien to furrow his brow slightly, but eventually elicited a nod from him, "When we get the food processors working again, you and the others will all be tended to, I assure you."

From there, Saru turned to Gakupo, opening his mouth to speak again with the intent of explaining how he intended to return them to where they came, before Burnham's words interrupted his train of thought, breaking the news that more than likely, each anomalous person here was likely from a different dimension, or at least most of them. "If they're all truly separate units, then that comes with its own implications that may make the process more difficult," he said ponderously, folding one arm while his other hand held his chin.

When the woman went on to elaborate about what exactly had went down back there, followed by Gakupo and Sheila's disapproval of the man in their group -- a supposed man in black with a dangerous weapon who went by the name of Vader evidently -- as well, the Acting Captain pursed his lips slightly, in one part unable to say he was very surprised that Burnham happened upon a potentially volatile situation by herself, and another contemplative about what was relayed to him overall. "I see... Well, at least no casualties were sustained over miscommunication; that'd make this discombobulating situation needlessly tragic as it were. If there is a need, do be sure that the security officer or officers in question report to the medical bay."

He paused for a moment, tilting his head slightly, before speaking again, taking into consideration what Gakupo and Sheila also said. "Indeed, if there are some within the group that aren't as... reasonable as others, I'll see to it that they're separated and isolated into a place where they won't be able to hold anyone; perhaps the holding cells if we can get the barriers to function again."

"Beyond that, how many of you exactly are there? And could you at least presume that you hail from a different... existence from that of the others you appeared with?"

@York @Yun Lee @Minerva @Atomic Knight @Josh
Shelia sighed. Why did Gakupo have to say that? Shelia hadn't said anything, but it was the same for her. You think she never heard of Darth Vader or Starscream? Sheila was raised in the 80's. You think she avoided pop culture? And while she wasn't aware of this ship,, but she knew what Starfleet was. She grew up on Star Trek, Star Trek god her into her Mechanics, it lead her into her into wanting to get Doctor.

However, she wasn't an idiot. The Doctor watched enough Sci-Fi to know you don't tell someone they're "Fictional". First off, that's never a good conversation starter. Second, they'll think you're crazy and they won't trust you. Thirdly? For all she knew, if she said anything they might all just randomly dissolve. When you start messing with shit randomly, you can't be surprised when everything falls apart. Giving Gakupo a hard nudge, it was clear she wasn't pleased. Turning to the Captain, she shrugged

"Anywho, moving on."
@Ver @Atomic Knight @Yun Lee @York @Minerva
Damn it, what did he do now? Gakupo gave Sheila a quizzical glance, thankfully not feeling pain from the nudge since he wasn't programmed to do so. But if they needed to get off the whole Multiverse thing, he could change the subject if that's what Sheila was going for. "Uh...yeah. If I may, captain, you keep bringing up a Prime Directive. Does that have something against us being here?"

Emily Hayes
@Yun Lee @Minerva @Atomic Knight @Josh @Ver

Emily nodded, frowning a little as she thought about how many were in the hangar. She counted about 24 or so in total, but there may be around 29, maybe more, it was a little hard to say. Nonetheless, Gapuko's assessment seemed to work just fine, although it was a little difficult to wrap her head around the fact that some of them seemed to regard one another as fictional characters.

TX8rTla.png

"It's... Alot to take in, but yes... I don't believe we all hail from the same Universe..." She said, then she paused for a moment, thinking about what Gapuko said after that.

"And... Yes. I think it would be important if we knew what your prime directives are... If possible." She added, though, she cast her gaze towards the doors leading out of the bridge for a moment.

Of course, she appreciated talking with the Captain and all, as it was going to be integral if they were to get a good bearing on their situation, but on the other hand... She felt a degree of concern for what may or may not be happening in the hangar...
Saru furrowed a brow again, thinking over what he'd heard. "2017... and forty-thousand years in the future. So this anomaly transcends space and time as we know it, the past and the future colliding... This does not bode well, I can only imagine," he said. Saru blinked in confusion at Gakupo's later words, but after Sheila's response and Gakupo's sudden decision to move on, he decided against inquiring what the newcomer had said, at least for the time being.

As the conversation moved on from there, Saru took pause for another moment, before finally speaking again. "Perhaps we should... take this to the captain's ready room. If you'll follow me," the alien simply said, turning around and leading the four, along with Burnham if she felt inclined to follow, into the aforementioned ready room, located in a door to the side of the bridge.

3516ca968d8d09897e340778e0e77f68.png

The room was relatively serene and peaceful, completely empty except for them. It was a small space, perfectly akin to a private office or cubicle. Walking behind the desk, Saru began opening the shelves, digging through them, multitasking between that and speaking again.

"To answer your question, the Prime Directive is one that is built off the principle of... non-interference. You see, I, along with this ship's whole crew, am one of many Starfleet expeditions set out with the intention of exploring the greater galaxy to seek out and discover new civilizations and strange new worlds, to learn more about the space in which we live. However, with that, we have... regulations put into place; the Prime Directive, the single most important philosophy of such an expedition," Saru explained, eventually drawing what looked like an electronic tablet, "To interfere with the natural development of a civilization in any way, be it exposing them to our technology if it is light years ahead of theirs or even the knowledge that there are other inhabited worlds and so on, would be a grievous transgression. I believe humans often comparing it to their own metaphor... playing God. It is akin to exposing a caveman to a spaceship. They were not destined to witness such a thing, and to display it before him would be to risk altering the process of his race's evolution."

"In a way, that directive can be applied to this scenario. Though it's... not exactly the case with this crew, I am sure that this must be your first experience traveling into another dimension, and to that end, even if it might have been an inadvertent gesture, it is likely that we are the ones responsible for this. In other words, we've ended up interfering in your natural development. The best we can do right now is try our best to escape from this empty space we're in right now, and then from there, figure out how to return you all home as swiftly as possible," he continued, before pausing again. Taking a moment, he walked in front of the desk again and handed the tablet to Sheila. If she were to look into it, she would find that it was a touch-screen tablet, and the screen opened up to some sort of directory.

"These are the extensive Starfleet General Orders and Regulations. Peruse them at your leisure if you wish, but I assure you, we bear no ill will toward you."

"In any case, I'm sure this is... much to take in, and indeed, I apologize, especially in the event that our mycelial drive turned out to be the cause of this displacement," he said, bowing his head briefly in a formal manner.

Emily quietly followed Saru into the Captain's quarters, agreeing that it was probably for the best to take the conversation there if they were to discuss things any further... Though, she seemed to go silent as Saru elaborated on the Prime Directive, as it incited alot of thought about the nature of her stone; it was born of a motherstone, which was more than likely it was alien in nature... Which meant that the Stonekeepers were the result of an outside interference to the natural development of the Alledian civilizations. She wondered if it had been better if whoever, or whatever left the motherstone on Alledia would have been better off if they too had followed the Prime directives Saru and his crew did.

Out of curiousity though, Emily did decide to peruse the tablet Saru handed Sheila as well, eyeing it from over her shoulder, trying to take in as much of it as possible... Even though there were words she couldn't understand, she managed to get the general idea for the most part. Nonetheless, a thought suddenly crossed her mind, as she looked up at Saru again.

39uAxYa.png

"Wait. With your ship ending up in this... Space... And us arriving here... Could it be some sort of sabotage? It's a little strange for all of... This to be a coincidence." She said suddenly.

Of course, this could very well be a freak coincidence, but... Maybe there was something more, especially considering Elliot's powers being strangely absent here, unlike her stone powers, or... Even those Vader had been using to choke one of the Crewmembers...

Zero Two followed the captain and the others into the Ready Room. It looked like a room that she would find in the Plantation’s control center back home. When the Prime Directives came up, she quickly browsed. “Needs more pictures.” she casually said. However, the fact that you couldn’t interfere with a world’s development was interesting, as that’s almost about what happened in her world.

At Emily’s comment, Zero Two would take the candy from her mouth again. “Mmm, but in a place this tightly run, usually the sensitive machinery is in a well secured place.” she said. She looked back at the captain and took the lollipop from her mouth.

The guards had looked more confused than intrigued initially when Vert started talking seductively to them. Elliot had looked on with a bit of a smirk, at least until Starscream was doubting any plan they might have of escape. "Trying is better than nothing. Failing is still better than being captured. No one should ever..." He trailed off when Gumi started yelling, sabotaging any plans they were trying to enact. He looked at her, wide-eyed as if he believed her to be out of her mind. His hands balled into fists and his breathing turned shallow. He gave Starscream a sideways glance that was mostly frustration.

"What are you fools doing?" he said when the fighting initially started. He backed off quickly to get away and his expression turned calmer as he watched the guards intently, seemingly figuring this to work as a distraction as well.

In the end, however, the order from above seemed to be a 'wait and see approach' as the guards never moved from their post. "I suppose it would have been foolish of them to drop the force field in case of potential danger from those fighting," Elliot said, mostly to himself.

He then shot a glare at Gumi. "I can listen damn well fine. What you don't seem to understand is that things never work out how you think they will. Always expect the worst. Maybe then you'll learn something."

Burnham felt uneasy at the android saying a few of those among their guests were 'fictional,' believing initially he might have been experiencing some kind of software failure. If he truly was from a 2017 that was mostly analogous to the one she knew from history, it was entirely possible he was not advanced enough to understand certain concepts.

"Sabotage was our guess," Burnham said to Emily, "and that was why we had to assume your group was responsible. For now, that idea has been shelved. In the meantime--" Burnham turned and gestured to the exit. "Could you four join me in Engineering? Our officers stationed there would like to see you and ask you a few questions so we may better understand the situation."

"Hmph. You don't know what you're missing out on~ Until the next time then~" Vert exclaimed as she bounced her chest one last time and then walked off gracefully, returning to the main group.

"Well, Elliot. Looks like our little plan of ours did not come to fruition~ Mainly due to the alternate plan that was brewing while it occurred. So, unless you have any more bright ideas, we're best to return to our own motions for the time being~" She stated, looking towards Elliot and then branched off towards the group once more. "Expect the worst?" Gumi finally seemed to understand Elliot a but more. "Ohhhhhh. No wonder you're so gloomy! Why expect the worst when there's so much good to be found in the world? If I expected the worst all the time I'd be miserable! Sure, things are sad sometimes and things happen that...make it hard to see good. But then, good things happen too, yeah? You can't tell me nothing good's ever happened to you before! Even something little, like playing a game, or seeing a cute puppy, or eating your favorite food! Good always pops up somewhere."

She gestured to the group, particularly Star-Lord. "We all didn't expect the worst, and look what happened! They were willing to talk with us! But you and Vader expected the worst, and one guy got choked out and we had some big huge crazy fight that could've gotten a lot more hurt! These people haven't captured us, probably haven't stolen your powers, so you just gotta wait without trying any big dumb plans!"

When finished, Gumi let out a sigh. "Whoo! I haven't been that serious since Lily abd Gakupo got into a fight about who's better! I could totally be on a debate team, yeah? I think so!" She smiled at Elliot now, extending her hand. "Here, I can help you relax! Wanna play a game? You ever play twenty questions? It's fun!"

Engineering? "I don't mind at all," Gakupo bowed to the captain. "Thank you for hearing us out, sir." As he started following Burnham, he processed what Emily said. Sabotage? If not from the crew, and if not from their group, then...who could be responsible? Eh, didn't matter to him. All he wanted to do was get out of here.

Elliot had nothing to say to Vert. It was clear he had not believed Vert capable of seducing the guards in the first place. He stared at Gumi.

"No, I have not been gifted with your fortunate life. In fact, it sickens me that you have never experienced the pain I have felt. There's too many like you; naive fools who have had it too easy. Don't we all deserve an equal amount of suffering? Maybe then the world would start making sense." He crossed his arms and shook his head at Gumi. "I'll play your game if only for you to understand my pain."

@Yun Lee @Raynar Saassin

Burnham nodded and escorted the group once again. She said little on the way to Engineering, for she was too lost in thought to say much of anything. This situation was perhaps too troubling to comprehend. She would have to seek Sarek's council at some point.

When they entered Engineering, a blond man looked up from a console he had been pouring over. "Are these our guests?" he asked with a sad smile.

"I've brought them as requested," Burnham responded.

The man nodded. "I am the Chief Engineer on board the USS Discovery, Paul Stamets. This is Ensign Tilly." He gestured to a red-haired, woman, who gave a small, nervous wave. "I've already been told that you believe you're from alternate universes. It's for that reason we'd like to scan you, is that all right?"

Stamets stared at the four as if he wasn't really asking their permission. He seemed to want to just get this done.

“So you’re like a robot zombie!” Sarge exclaims, still clearly not understanding what Starscream means.
@Crow

“Uhh... yeah, right.” Sarge muttered in response to the robot. Although it didn’t appear to be a hostile robot, Sarge still didn’t want to risk losing any more of his weapons. His pistol and grenades were all he had left.

“So uh, did you make this thing?” Sarge asked Viktor, obviously referring to Blitzcrank. Maybe if he knew how it was made and who made it, he could reprogram it like Lopez! Then they could have two Spanish speaking robots!

As Vader was off to the side brooding all on his lonesome, he was approached by a certain soldier clad in orange armor, who seemed to be holding a pen.

“Hey uh, Darth Vader, sir?” Grif asked awkwardly, knowing that one wrong word could result in a force choking that actually killed him this time.

“So I was thinking that since we have some downtime and we haven’t been sucked out into the endless vacuum of space yet... well... um...”
Grif then proceeded to hand (or more accurately, shove in his face) Vader the pen.

“Could you please autograph my armor sir?”

Vader wasn't going to even dignify that with a response and instead continued to watch silently over the group.

"Obviously you look a bit annoyed." Krystal said, looking at Vader. "You aren't the only one. I am too. Many of the people in this room are incompetent... most of them."

He had listened off hand to what they had been saying among one another but Vader didn't make any movements just yet. He had been tasked to eliminate any Jedi that crossed his path and these two would be no different. He knew however that if he attacked them now that everyone else were going to join in to stop it, much like in the fight not to long ago. It meant that he had to bid his time for now before he could strike.

Man. This guy was REALLY messed up. It would take at least five rounds of Twenty Questions to help him out. Maybe even six. "Woo! Okay, here's how it works. I think of an object or person-to make it easy, I'll make it a person in this room-and you ask twenty yes-or-no questions to figure out who it is!" Gumi shut her eyes, face scrunched in concentration as she decided on someone. When she was done, she opened her eyes and smiled. "Okay...go!"

"If that can prove we are, then you have my permission." Gakupo spread his hands to punctuate his willingness. No point in waiting. Plus, hey. He could score some points with that cute redhead if he cooperated...

Emily nodded; she better understood now why Burnham and the overall crew treated the Hangar group as a threat at first. If she herself, a stranger to this ship had suspected such a thing, there was little surprise that the Crew may have come to the same conclusion, except... Because there were suddenly almost 30 new arrivals on the ship, they had thought it might have been them.

"Of course. It's the least we could do." She said, following Burnham's lead once more to Engineering.

Once they got there, she listened carefully to what the man, identifying himself as Paul, and his... Ensign? (She had better touch up on that term later), who was called Lilly. It seemed they wanted to scan them to make sure they were indeed from another dimension, and although she was willing to go through with the process, something suddenly occurred to her.

"Like I said in the hangar... I can't remove my stone. Would it be a problem if it got scanned too?" She asked.

Of course, if it were just a normal amulet it would be no issue, but... It was likely an alien artifact, and she wasn't too sure how it might behave if it was scalled alongside her.
