Elliot shot a curious glance toward Kumagawa, listening to him intently. Though when he summoned his screws into the floor, Elliot's hands glowed. He gritted his teeth in anger, looking about ready to retaliate, but instead, he simply held his ground. "You may have a point," he said with an edge to his voice. He did not seem entirely put off by Kumagawa's threat. "I escaped my drudgery once, only to once again find a new sort of hell. Then I did away with that one too. Over and over again. I know just as well that only I can rid myself of what pains me, but such an action requires power, don't you know? Finding your own happiness... it requires obtaining power, simple as that."
He then looked to Gumi, keeping a wary sideways look at Kumagawa as well. "That is not the game I expected it to be based on the name. What is the point? Why don't you simply tell me what you're thinking of? Is the goal to ultimately torture it out of you? I could imagine such an exercise from soldiers, not... yourself."

"I don't know what you're stone is, so I can't say whether it would affect anything," Stamets said almost sarcastically.
"It's apparently a kind of weapon," Burnham said.
"Hmm." Stamets shrugged. "It should be fine. Keep in mind that we have little to no basis for when it comes to beings from other dimensions. We won't know what the scans will tell us, nor do we know if it will prove anything you say. It is mostly for research purposes. Just hold still."
Stamets pressed a button on his console. Nothing seemed to happen, but the computer display in front of him was evidently compiling data.

Emily nodded, biting her lip a little in anticipation. At least there was no immediate problem that the crew could think of, and... Fortunately enough, it seemed that nothing was happening as far as she could tell while the scan was going on. Of course, the scan was going and all, so she decided against moving from where she was for now, instead... Letting her mind drift a little.

Emily did kind of want to talk... As she was curious what the scan may be saying about them, but she figured it was best to just comply and not move. However, she did wonder how Elliot was holding up in that Hangar. Was he keeping himself in check while she and the other 3 arrivals were gone? Or was he back to his... Usual shennanigans.
"Ooh, more than one person is playing? Heck yeah! That means you two each get twenty questions, and can work together to figure out who I'm thinking of!" Gumi giggled, a mischievious look on her face. "Unleeeeeess...you guys wanna compete for points~"

Gakupo wanted to ask if the scan was going on, but he had been told to stand still, so he remained silent as the data rolled. The technology in this world was highly advanced, wasn't it? No doubt there was something in this world to get them home...he hoped.

"Y'know... This is not what I had in mind while taking Ambassador Sarek, but I guess I'll take it. I mean, not like I really have much of a choice, huh?" The redhaired woman whom Stamets introduced as Ensign Tilly, seeming to force a cheery exterior, a notion that awkwardly combined with her uneasy laugh, mainly talking to Stamets, "You don't think like, he'll write a bad report about how we accidentally put him in danger with all this going on, will he? Seems like kind of a Vulcan thing to do, y'know? Like "oh, it was logical because to do so would be to keep the Federation in the dark needlessly" or something, but... um, uh, I guess I'm doing that thing again."
Giving a sheepish look at the four, Tilly awkwardly waved again. "Don't mind me. I just... talk a lot when I'm nervous. Not that you guys make me nervous or anything! It's just, y'know, it's just a weird situation for all of us. I'm sure you're nervous too though! It's just... uh, well, anyway..."
As the computer continued compiling data, Tilly looked over it alongside Stamets, comprehending it to the best of her ability and pursing her lips. "Mm... That's weird. Or, I guess, to be expected... They all have different vibrational wavelengths from each other, and us for that matter," she murmured to Stamets (but incidentally just loud enough for the others to hear), continuing look over the machine, "While they were on their way, Captain Saru said that the guy mentioned there was like five other people from his own world, so maybe they'd all have matching wavelengths? Not that it'd bring us any closer, I guess."
"By the way, am I the only one who finds it a little weird to call him Captain? I mean, Acting Captain doesn't roll off the tongue as well, but I mean, I guess after Lorca--You know what, never mind."
Once the scan finally finished compiling its data on the small group, Tilly looked up back at them. "Alright, that should be it for now. Beyond that, we need to ask you guys some questions about the circumstances and whatnot," she said, trying her best hand at coming off formal, even if her first try at it was met with mixed results, holding her hands together, "So, to start us off, do any of you remember what you were all doing before you came on board the Discovery? And more than that, you wouldn't happen to have anything on your person or in your world that would have drawn you to be whisked away, would you? Some sort of special piece of tech or something that might clue us in on why you were specifically taken here?"

Zero Two watched as the scan completed. Her eyes scanned the people room and she once again the lollipop from her mouth. Her face took on a more serious tone from her playful self.

“ Defending Humanity by fighting the Klaxosaurs.” Her eyes looked distant. “My Franxx, Strelizia, was heavily damaged in combat. My Darling and I were wounded. I blacked out. That is all I remember. ” she said calmly.
