I am The Black Hand, though in the past, others have preferred to call me simply Handie or Lucien. I have many nicknames, but I'm sure you don't wish to trudge through that mess.
I am just a wanderer--I am new to this site, but I am well-versed in roleplaying...a 'veteran' of sorts. I chanced upon this site whilst looking for a suitable place to migrate to after my previous place of frequency sort of...died out.
After reading the rules, I decided that this place seemed very much like something I was looking for.
So I look forward to roleplaying with you, neighbors, after I acclimate to my new surroundings. If you could find in your heart to give me a few tips on some things I ought to know, or if you feel inclined to have a little chat, please do. I enjoy good conversation.​

You know that really seems to be a theme these days. There are so many sites out there dying out and I was just telling another new Storyteller that in a way this site was built for the same reasons. We really hope to turn this into a community for everyone, a place where people can get along, work together, and have some fun! Hopefully by doing that we can try and avoid many of the same mistakes other sites have made. It is really great to have you and perhaps this site can become your new home! Please do not hesitate to get a hold of any of the staff members that are usually available around the clock. Drop any of us a message and we will be sure to get back to you just as soon as you can to address any questions and/or concerns that you might raise.

If you check out the OOC and find a topic called bulletin board, there is a spot there to list your interests and someone will get back to you with some suggestions. Otherwise, the OOC in general is a great place to go hunting for role-plays. The forum also has something called Epic's which are massive role-plays that are always recruiting!

Hm, I will roleplay almost any genre, though the ones I frequent or create the most are typically fantasy-type, or anything with an element of fantasy in it. I will likely have to take Melidoas' suggestion and check the OOC.

Aha, thank you. I have noticed the decline in good roleplay as well, hence the reason for my search. It seems to me that you have a good goal in mind, something I can appreciate. I think I'll take your suggestion to heart and check the OOC--if I need assistance, I will most certainly check with you or another staff member. Thank you for the help, I appreciate it, and I look forward to some good roleplays.

Alright:

1. If you want to host an RP. Be Catchy, have a quick summary of your RP, use pretty pictures. People like stuff that catches the eye.
2. Don't be afraid to ask Staff with any questions you may have. We are always happy to steal your XP help!
3. Join the Chat (Through tabs on the top or the bar at the bottom) to get in contact with people, make some friend's etc. It tend's to be quite active.
4. Don't eat my sandwich.
