I'm not very good at introductions. Is anybody? I suppose some people are, but I find them awkward. Should I actually introduce myself? I'm practically wearing a nametag. I feel like there is an undue amount of pressure to make a good first impression, so I overcompensate by trying to say something profound. Or maybe I just did.

I think this is the part where I'm supposed to tell you about myself. My favorite color is green. I like to sleep with the window open. I hate my job. I don't exercise enough, and I have an unhealthy diet.

Alright. Time to wrap this thing up. Ironically, as awkward as I am at introductions, you'd think I'd be more graceful at departures. Alas, I am not. So, thank you for reading and try not to judge me too harshly. If you ever have to ask yourself whether I am joking or being serious, it's probably the former. I'm not good at talking about myself but feel free to ask questions. I'm happy to be here and am looking forward to getting to know some of you.

It's about 12°F here right now which is about 12° warmer than it was a few days ago but I still sleep with the window open. I'm not sure a screen matters much for the cold but my windows are leveled with the ground, so I need something to keep the snow off my carpet. I don't even like the cold all that much it's just that I like sleeping with big, heavy blankets. During the summer, the window is closed and the AC is on because I will not let the season dictate my blanket preferences.
