I tend to go by Dia, rather than the full Diabolique.

I've been role-playing for an immeasurable number of years (e.g. too many to want to count). I first started back in MIRC, which then shifted eventually to MSN. After MSN role-play, I found my way to Yahoo (as most did). After role-playing there for a few years, I began to scour the internet in search of forums to use for my creative outlet. This inevitably landed me here!!

I don't like to give out personal information about myself; this isn't out of shame or anything like that, but instead because I believe in a disconnect between role-play and reality. I don't see a need to combine/mix the two.

I am male, in my late twenties (on the cusp of 30), employed, married, and have children. That's the most that needs to be said. ;P

I prefer to do multiple-paragraph posts, and tend to expect the same from my role-play partners.
I am a nerdy nerd nerd nerd: WoW, anime, manga, etc. etc.

I can't think of anything else to add, so I will leave it at that.

1. Favorite anime? Toss-up between Fate: Stay Night and Higurashi no naku Koro Ni.
2. Uuuuhhhh... Hypothermia?
3. Old WoW. The latest I played was WOTLK. I always played on private servers, though.... just enjoyed PVP.

3. I'm more of a PvE player myself. I find PVP to be too reliant of massive grinding to be good and rotation memorisation. Then again, I'm more of a GW2 player myself where MMO's are concerned.

The server I played on, as soon as you made your character, you were level 80 and had all skills, gear, and crafting items available to you for free.

You literally made a character, spec'd how you wanted to spec, geared up, then went to kill some scrubs.

I should of probably clarified. when you say Stay Night do you mean the original or UBW?

And I see, with that kind of server stuff like player grinding gaps vanish entirely, which would make it more enjoyable. XD
Also, I mostly PvE with friends. I don't often play MMO's solo, so it becomes more of a social thing for me.

I think UBW is just a movie-version of Stay Night.
Fate Zero is the events prior to Stay.

Yeah, PVP with friends vs countless hours of grinding with friends was much more enjoyable.
That, and the fact that it's free to play on private servers, vs spending money to play on the retail version.

Actually there's a separate UBW Anime.

GW2 is a one time purchase deal, no monthly fee's.
And there's always stuff like Dungeons, so you aren't just running about killing monsters.
