I love this response because I'm the "opposite" and it's fun to see people who are happy doing it in a completely different way haha. I'm also nb but almost always play male or male presenting characters. Irl i also present kinda androgynous but I tend to fem up in summer and masc up in winter xDAlmost never. I am non-binary but almost always play female characters. Irl I present rather androgynous (more masc in the summer and more femme in the winter).
Even before I came out (AMAB btw), I still played female characters though.I love this response because I'm the "opposite" and it's fun to see people who are happy doing it in a completely different way haha. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I tend to make a character based on the need of the story I put them in. I mean yeah, there has been some initial hesitation to portray a different gender/race/ethnicity but that's where doing research came in for me.All my Characters are my gender, Female, I've always been too afraid that I would wrongly portray a another (well I have done a non-binary) and I'm wondering what other people think about it. Have you ever been afraid to be a different gender? do you dabble in all? Or do you prefer to only do the opposite/no gender at all? I'm excited to see what others think, share your thoughts!
