The following RP contains spoilers for the anime/manga series "Akame ga Kill!" If you have not finished the original manga or the anime adaption, there are details in the synopsis and the ensuing roleplay that will contain spoilers for both. If you wish to sign up, it is highly recommended that you are caught up before you do so.

~ SYNOPSIS ~​

Crime and corruption is overflowing in the Empire. The Revolutionary Army, host to assassination guild fore hire Night Raid, are our only solution under the crushing thumbs of the powers that be as well as the newly formed counter-group the Jaegers, led by high ranking sadist General Esdeath.

However, Night Raid is hit hard with a statement of superiority both figuratively and literally after an assault on their HQ by Jaeger member Dr. Stylish. Though successful in their defense and execution of Stylish and his forces, the group is forced to relocate to a remote hideaway in the Marg Highlands until a new HQ set closer to the Capital is scouted by the Revolutionary Army.

And most importantly of all: Night Raid commander Najenda has bolstered the ranks of the group by introducing fellow Revolutionary Chelsea and living Teigu Susanno, but that is not all she has called in, for the Revolutionary Army has been training a select class of soldiers who are adept with the use of Teigu, and so, have sent over a portion of their ranks to join Night Raid -- they are dubbed "Fresh Blood".

Just who are these new recruits? How do their abilities stack up to their peers? Will they succeed under their new environment? Or will more Night Raid blood be spilt upon the hands of the cruel Empire?

The only way to find out... is to kill.

Background: Silo was born and raised on a farm settled on the outskirts of the Empire. His family killed, tamed, and raised Danger Beasts and sold what they could produce with them on the market, such as meat and clothing. Silo, combining his know-how of the trade with his talent for boxing when trapping/taming Danger Beasts, was an exceptionally talented farmhand. He and his family lived a content life, but one day, they were visited by a brigade of military from the Empire who falsely accused Silo’s mother and father were using their Danger Beasts’ resources for a darker purpose. His parents were killed and the farm was raided, but Silo managed to escape. He hid out on the streets of the Empire before he was approached by the Revolutionary Army; they asked him to join them based on the rumors they heard about him using his skills to survive on the streets.
Teigu: Thermal Searing: Cybelle - a pair of gauntlets that heat up considerably to burn/mark whatever it strikes; can also create heated ripples and shockwaves on surfaces

Name: Kotetsu Gurei
Alias: Red Steel
Gender: Male

Appearance: Kotetsu is tall, with red, messy hair. He has a little bit of muscle, but he's still a little scrawny. He wears a white shirt and a black vest with black pants. He has a crooked pair of glasses covering his green eyes, and he always has a red ribbon tied to his left arm.
Background: Kotetsu's parents were killed when he was still very young, both lost to the corruption that struck the heart of the once-great Empire. He grew up on the streets, causing him to see all of the atrocities committed in the capital first-hand. He lived in the slums, barely scraping by from the scraps left behind by others. He eventually befriended a girl his age who was also living on the streets. The two stuck together, learning to steal and beg to get food so they could survive. Despite the awful conditions he lived in, the girl gave Kotetsu a glimmer of hope. There were others who suffered like him, and they could band together and at least work towards making their lives a little less miserable. All went well until the two were 13. His friend was caught stealing from a fruit stand, and the imperial guard who found her began to beat the girl, staining the pavement with her blood. As the guard's attack went on, Kotetsu became enraged and pulled a knife on the man, ending his life then and there. Unfortunately, it was too late; his friend had died an awful death, and Kotetsu had been seen killing a soldier. He ran off, becoming a fugitive...
Luckily, he found a place that was looking for fugitives. He met a member of the Revolution Army and joined. He climbed the ranks over the years, eventually becoming one of its best soldiers. Over the years, tales of the Red Steel spread, earning him some fame, even if just a little. Along with his red hair, the red ribbon that he kept tied to his left arm became a sign of his presence. He never brought it up, but this ribbon belonged to his friend from the slums. He always kept it with him as a way to honor her memory. He swore to avenge her death by destroying the system that allowed her to die the pitiful death she suffered. His skills eventually led him to the recruiter for Fresh Blood, a new faction in Night Raid. He accepted their invitation.
Teigu: Kotetsu's Teigu is the Omniblade: Zenkai. It looks like a plain gray ring, although it allows Kotetsu to transform any part of his body into a blade.

Background: Ashely lived in the Capital since she was born. Her parents were rich, so she had it all: Dresses, the latest technology (Not like computers and crazy techy stuff we have in real life), toys, you name it. At age 14, she became interested in working for the Capitals Military, and started training so she can get the job working for the military. A few years later, Ashley has her training nearly complete, but over time, she begins to question her position as well as the Capital's corruption. She finally finds her answer at the breaking point when the Capital discovered her parents housing members of the Revolutionary Army and were killed while Ashley escaped the military. She used her training to fend off the Capital's soldiers, and went under the radar as she escaped to the outskirts.
The next day, Ashley found the remnants of the Revolutionary Army and joined alongside them, who would later assign Ashley to Night Raid.

Teigu: Soundwave: In a style of headphones, Soundwave is used when the user puts the headphones on one's head. Doing so allows the user the ability to see sound and follow the soundwaves to the endpoint of the sound. This means the user can travel in the speed of sound, which is easily done by snapping his or her's fingers. In addition, the user can perform Sonic Punches and Kicks which also travel at the speed of sound to deliver powerful attacks. The user's hearing is also amplified which can be useful for recon.
