Ancient Forest (1X1)

She was grateful for his help as they headed back to the hut. When he offered to go back into the water to see what grabbed her, she shakes her head. "Please don't do it alone...tell the others. I don' want any of you getting hurt at all."

"I suppose I should take someone with me. I don't think I should tell Red, though, he'd be fawning over you as if you were defenseless if I said anything, and I know you're not. I'll talk to someone to go look for whatever that thing was, though, if it means that much to you."

She shakes her head a little. "I just don't want any one else to get hurt. That is my main concern." She says to him. She still felt weak and tired. She hasn't realized yet though that her ankle was bleeding from whatever had grabbed her. Could it have just been an animal? She wasn't sure.

"I don't want you getting attacked again, I'd rather find whatever dragged you down and get rid of it before it hurts you." He seemed rather determined to get rid of that thing, even if he had to need help to do it.

She shakes her head a little. " It might have been an animal...could have mistaken me for food." She suggested.

She grabbed a towel she had gotten in town and wrapped herself in it. That was when she saw the blood on her leg. She blinks slightly and sits down before grabbing her first aid kit so she could take care of the wound. Her hands were shaking though and making it more difficult.

"I just don't think its's worth the risk."

He saw the blood on her leg while she was treating it, and kneeled down beside her. "Need some help?"

She looks to him and nods slightly. "Please. I can' keep my hands still." She says. Her ankle had what looked like claw marks in it.

He nodded and kneeled down to take care of it, trying to follow the example of what she had been doing. He had never done any kind of first aid before, but he didn't seem to be doing too bad.

She tried to relax as he tended to her ankle. It hurt a little but she was glad for his help and that she had gotten the first aid kit.

Her thought went back to the water. What had grabbed her? It had felt like a hand. No a claw maybe. She wasn't sure.

He finished up quickly and stood, giving her a little smile. "I'll take care of that thing, make sure it doesn't hurt you again. It's the best I can do in return for what you're offering us.."

She looks to him. "Please tell the others and be careful. I' not sure what it was and I don't want anyone else to get hurt." She says with concern in her eyes.

"We'll be fine, don't worry." He smiled and left the hut, presumably to get some help then go back to the river.

She hoped he would be alright as well as the others. She didn't like what had happened. Moving carefully she gets back to her bag and gets out of her wet clothes. She pulls on some dry clean clothes. She curls up in her sleeping bag. She felt exhausted but her worry for them kept her awake.

Purple chose to have only Green go with him, as the brother he trusted most. He also made sure his 'twin' wouldn't tell Red, as he didn't want the elder brother to be fawning over her, constantly checking to see if she was okay.

Once they got to the river, they quickly went high alert as they started looking around for any sign of what might've grabbed Sarah. But of course, since they didn't know what it looked like, they had no clue what to look for.

The river seemed quiet as it usually did. There were no marks on the bank except for where purple had pulled her from the water.

Sarah stayed curled up in the sleeping bag. She had eaten a little but wasn't very hungry. She made herself drink some water as well.

Purple got a little discouraged as they couldn't find anything, but Green was too stubborn to give up so soon. He allowed his wings to show and started into the water, kicking around a little to try and entice the thing to come and get him.

The water remained calm as if nothing was in the water other than Green. For a moment it seemed as if nothing would move or happen.

Then suddenly there was movement not far from Green. It was the fin of an alligator gard. A type of fish with armour like scales and terrible teeth that lined it's mouth.

Both boys turned as soon as they saw the movement, eyes wide.

"Green... get out of the water, right now."

The stubborn brother did as he was asked, but as his wings lifted him from the water he gave it one final kick to try and tempt the creature.

The large fish turned towards Green and snapped it's jaws at him before diving back down into the depts of the water.

Once more the water became calm.

The boys stared in bewilderment at what they had just seen, then Green flew off towards the woods to retrieve a weapon they had agreed upon earlier. It was a simple thing that wasn't surprising for the teenagers they resembled, but hopefully it would work. Purple stayed by the river, keeping an eye on the river to try and see the creature again.
