Hayden let out a low growl and his jaw tightened a little “Do you know which guards they where? Would you recognize them if you saw or heard them again?” He asked trying to remain calm about it. He downed the rest of his drink and then stood up to go put his cup down. He needed to clear his head and her laying there looking as beautiful as the night goddess. He licked his lips trying to clear his head of the things he actually wants to do.
“Did anyone treat you as a slave while I was gone or did my plan of them treating you like one of the ladies of the court work?” he asked as he turned and leaned in the window looking at her. He looked her up and down as she laid in his bed and a smirk came to his lips.
 
Kaja took a sip from the cup as he spoke, "If I see then I can tell who they are....Though I have no idea who they are." She took another sip of the drink as he stood. Kaja watched him lick her lips and placed her cup on the table nearest the bed. "They did not treat me as a slave....which was...unsettling. They all treated me as you wished. Sara was a great help with the babe...though they will tell me near nothing of his mother." Almost instinctively he hand reached up to touch the red bruise around her neck that had mostly faded. She let out a breath and laid down. "if-if I may ask sir...was your trip w-well?"
 
“I am glad they are treating you as a lady of the court and you will get use to it.” Hayden says with a smirk at his plan “we will walk the grounds tomorrow and point the guards out so I can deal with them as I need to.” he states coming up to the bed as he ran his hand through his hair. “I will see how the mother is in the morning if you need it one of the other mothers can take the baby if its to much for you.” Hayden says looking at her and holding out his hand to her “I want to check on the baby escort me to the room” he says giving a reason to stay in her presence longer. His eyes showing he was fighting a few urges.
 
Kaja instinctively flinched as he hand reached out to her, she relaxed a bit as his fingers ran through her hair. When he suggested that someone else take care of the baby she shook her head fiercely. "N-no, I have made a promise to watch this child. I swore it, sir." Sitting up she carefully took his hand. "A-alright." She placed her feet on the floor before standing, her long hair brushed behind her in waves. Kaja kept a hold on his hand not sure if she was allowed to let go. She walked through the tunnel and led him to her room where the baby laid to sleep in a small bassinet next to her bed. "He is a very calm child."
 
Hayden looked at her "Alright as long as its not to much on you." He says "I am back now so your obligation is to me not the baby is that clear" he says with a soft stern tone. He walked with her to the baby and looked at it "If the mother is dead I will have one of the other mothers care for it." he says deep at thought as he leaned on the crib a bit and ran a hand through his hair.
 
"I-it is not s-sir." Kaja looked down at the small child and smiled, he had been good. Calm unless he was hungry or tired. When Hayden spoke again she looked at him and nodded, "Y-yes sir." She had enjoyed her time with the small child, if she had been born into a more normal life would she have wanted on of her own? She watched Hayden run a hand through his hair and bit her lip, she wanted to protest and say she would but she knew he wouldn't allow it. "O-of course sir...Is there anything I-I can be of assistance with?" Kaja tilted her head but kept her gaze low. She'll still felt uncomfortable meeting his eyes.
 
Hayden looked at Kaja and the love she had for the small child. His eyes darkened a little and then he looked away "Tomorrow we will need to go shopping for new attire not just for you but me as well and I want you to point out those guards out to me." He then pulled her to him "For now we retire to my room I want time with you before things get more busy around here." He adds in and smirks at her his eyes looking at her with a softness of gold and black "I want to hear about everything you have been up to lately and tell me how you are settling as well as if you are having issues"

Hayden started to lead her back to the room leaving the baby to sleep in peace "How are you liking your new home?" he asked with a smooth deep voice. His white hair falling into his eyes as he looked at her with a hidden tiredness.
 
Kaja felt flustered when he pulled her to him, the softness in his eyes made her heart flutter. She could only nod timidly, and couldn't help sparring a look back at the sleeping infant before following him to his room. When he spoke she flinched a bit at the sound of his voice. "Ah, it is very pleasant. The room is much nicer than expected, and my food is always delicious. As I stated everyone treats me with kindness." Kaja glanced around the room, pleased she had kept it tidy while he was absent. "Would you like to lay down sir?" She gestured to the bed, "Or to sit? I'd be happy to make you a cup of tea. I imagine you mu-must be tired from the journey." She scratched her cheek awkwardly hoping she wasn't being to forward, she had practiced hard with the others to improve her stutter. Her eyes shifted colors to express her hesitance.
