Blood Handy

He gave a smirk, feeling a bit better from her trust. "Then let our relationship rebirth anew as friends." He looked down at Shrimp, his smile fading a bit. "I suppose I'll have to get rid of that nickname that suits you so well. . .Not, however, until you tell me your name."

He glanced up at the other demon and was silent for a moment, before deciding it wasn't worth it to keep shunning him if he really wanted to reform. "...Red. Yeah, most creative name in the universe, I know, but it's not exactly easy when you have to name yourself."

As he saw that the potion healed the girl, he decided to give it a try. He took a very small sip, just to be safe, then felt his shoulder almost pull itself shut, as if the two sides of flesh were simply drawn to each other. He put his wings away since he didn't need them anymore, then set the potion on the ground since he was done with that too.

She smiles a bit and lets herself relax. It was not easy to do after what had happened. She pulls the bandage off and looks to see that her arm was completely healed. She touches it gently then shakes her head. "Magic and such has always impressed me." She looks to them. "I'm Cindy. I don't remember if I told you my name or not." She says suddenly then nods. "Come on. I'm sure you are both hungry. I might have some food."

He gave a smirk, as usual and then grinned when he heard food. "You're offering us dinner? I'll gladly accept!" He held out his hand to help her up. "If you like magic so much, you should come to my mansion. I can repay you for dinner with a feast and some lessons on magic. . ." He then glanced at Red and sighed, smile fading. "Doubt you'd want too but you can come too, only if you're with her though." he mumbled the last part and looked away.

He was silent for a moment as he looked back at the other demon, then closed his eyes. "Human food doesn't do that much for me." He stands and starts out the door. "I should probably just go home, you guys likely don't need me around anyway."

While part of him just wanted to get away from the other demon, another part genuinely wanted to make sure his brothers were okay. He was too paranoid for his own good sometimes.

Cindy looks at the older demon. "I may take you up on that offer but I've got an early start tomorrow. Got some jobs to deal with in the morning. " She smiles a bit then pauses as she looks to the younger man. "You don't have to leave but if you must, you can always come back." She says softly to him.

He smirked, licking his lips. "If you miss it, it'll be a rather good opportunity missed. You should come anyways, tell your boss that you are busy. You know, I could provide much better employment. I've got enough rupees I could drown in them."

He got the garage door open, then closed it behind him as he stepped out without really acknowledging her invitation to return. He didn't plan to bother them again anyway, but something told them he hadn't seen the last of those two. Nevertheless, he started using his instincts to figure out where he was, then started walking back home.

She hesitates a little then blinks a bit. "I'm actually my own boss....after my father passed the guys left the busiess to me. I'm just the only one who seems able to fix anything in this city." She shrugs a little. Then looks around at her home then looks to the garage door, realizing that the younger demon had left. She hoped he would be okay. She sighs and nods "alright. "

"Then it's settled." He smiled. "We shall feast tomorrow! I suppose this is a way to earn respect too, correct?" He crossed his arms. "Not that I'm going to invite everyone I meet into my mansion. . ."

Once he got home, he was surprised to find his brothers had all gone to their rooms with no plans of coming out until morning. But that was just fine with him, he went straight to his room, locked himself in, and flopped down onto his bed. He just needed to sleep this off, that would work. It was just about the calmest thing he could do to take his mind off things. So he took his shoes and jacket off, like usual, and buried himself under the covers.

Cindy looks at him and shrugs a bit. "It is part of it yes. Respect has a lot of different things to it. How you treat others is most of it. No you don't need to incite everyone to your home. Thats just not safe." She smiles a bit.

"Says the one who just invited two strange demons into her home." He laughed lightly. "Anyways, tell me, where do Humans find these. . .trucks?"

As he finally drifted off to sleep, he felt himself getting pulled into a dream. A dream he was pretty much used to at this point. But just before it started he could've sworn he saw Cindy and the other demon for a split second. Strange. Well, nothing he could do about it right now.

She shrugs a bit. "Im not exactly one who listens to her own advice. Also I'm too nice for my own good." She shrugs then smiles a bit. "Most trucks come from a sales lot. That particular truck was my dad's. Pretty much everything I have now used to belong to him."

"Hmm. . ." He frowned, walking around. "So you've inherited most of this stuff. . .If it were all to disappear one day, do you think you could live without it?" Not that he planned to take anything, but he was curious.

(Honestly, it's kinda hard to write for a character who's not in the same location as everything else, so I'm probably just going to write some generic stuff on my turns unless you guys feel like skipping me until Red gets back to the other two. I'd be fine with that, really.)

He usually went limp when he went into these dreams, but something went down his spine that made him almost twitch. Even in sleep, he couldn't get the human and the other demon off his mind.

She blinks a bit at his question. "These are just things....yes They were my father' and it would hurt to lose them a little but they are just things." She shrugs a bit.

(I understand your feelings KaylaCautio! XD I enjoy your responses, but if you want to wait a bit I won't mind! I'm not sure how anyone else feels about it, but it won't bother me if you'd like a small break or something. ^^)

"Hmm, I see. Do you have a bed in this blasted space? We've been talking in one room for quite a while now." He sighed, a bit bored. "Or perhaps a kitchen or just some different room? This one is so dark and dreary."

He didn't hear the door open as someone came to check on him, didn't feel the bed move as that someone sat near him, worried for his safety in the dream. Everyone in the household was used to Red's dreams, how he acted almost dead when he had them, but it still worried them to see him like that. What if he actually did die? What if these dreams somehow killed him, what would they do?
