The whole situation went beyond ridiculous, even considering that they were in a different world, and it was hard for her to keep up. Yet there was no time to grieve. It was time for action. Traitors, agents, their roles up till now no longer mattered. There were only two people they had to look forward to face.

"After all, that is the path you all have provided me, and I am not so ungrateful so as to not walk it. We may not be able to revive the dead. But we can fight to protect their ideals, and protect the lives of the still living."

"...Yes. Everyone, let's hurry to Vah Ruta. I know you all probably have a lot of negativity inside you after what happened...so use it in the fight against this Lynel. They're incredibly tough."

Listening to Wakaba's resolve, Kaito nodded. "Good! I'm tired of not being able to do anything! Come on, guys, we got a monster to take down!"

Sidon led the little group to a small forest area, just below a large cliff where one could assume Vah Ruta was located. Within the large redwoods, a monstrous creature could be seen. It stood twice as tall as the tallest among them, with the head of a lion, the body of a barbarian, and the lower half of a large stallion.

It seemed not to notice them just yet.

"Do be careful," Sidon whispered. "It can shoot three Shock Arrows at once if it feels threatened, and has a sword and shield as well. But I know you can all stop him! I believe in you!"

"Teba is the only person who can pilot Vah Medoh," Dell explained. "These Divine Beasts are going to launch an attack on Ganondorf that will do a lot of damage to him. Now come on. We need to get things ready, asap. Come on, let's teleport over to the mountains."

Mount Hebra was snowy, but thanks to the elixirs, you couldn't feel the cold. It was relatively peaceful, thankfully. "Okay, the Flight Range is just through this little pathway over here..." Dell motioned for the group to follow him. Through the winter winds, a faint noise could be heard.

Three out of the six goblins had been defeated, and the remaining three became aware of those on the hill. They decided to start shooting back at them, aiming to incapacitate them so they could attack later.

Those on the ground had one thing to deal with in particular: the giant blue goblin. Armed with a sword and shield, it used its long arm to make a sweeping slashing attack!

Kokkoro's dexterity allowed her to evade big blue's strike with ease. Yuuki, on the other hand, took a great leap to dodge the heavy slash.

That shield was pretty big, there had to be a...

... there was.

"Kokkoro! Jin! Three directions!"

"Understood, Master!"

With that, Yuuki struck big blue from the front, and Kokkoro struck him 120 degrees from Yuuki's position. This left Jin to make his strike.

" So, that song, how does it goes?" He asked Brook, continuing to toss his fairy tonic back and forth. He didn't want to kill the goblins since he didn't know if these ones would also come back.

When Peter arrived at the hill, he grabbed the nearest one handed weapon and shield and charged at the shooting goblin on the hills, dodging as much as he could along the way and IF he made it to the top, he would swing whatever he grabbed at them in quick sucession. " Hey, ugly, did you get lost on the way to the Halloween store?" Peter sarcastically asked.

With an acknowledging nod toward Wakaba's words, feeling the intent and resolve in them, Guy followed Sidon and the others to Van Ruta, eager to get on with confronting the villains of this ordeal once and for all, only to be stopped by a potentially hostile force, as though he were guarding the path. Crouching ever so slightly and narrowing his eyes, Guy spoke in a hushed tone.

"I don't suppose there's any discernible weakness from where we are? We'll have to consider our moves carefully if we want to take him down swiftly," he said, carefully watching the creature's every movement, "If he is skilled in both long-ranged and close combat, then we would do well to take advantage of our numbers, I believe."

"I think... we need at least one person to stay back and draw its attention with their bow, while at least one other charges forward for more aggressive attacks. I will volunteer to charge at him. Any objections?"

"I have no problem with helping distract it." Azel offered as he studied the Lynel before them, bow in hand and an arrow knotched as he crouched beside the rest of their small group. It was like hunting a deer, except this beast was larger, more muscular, and could wield weapons.

No hesitation, no second guesses, his mind was clear of all fear and doubt as they struck in unison. While the other two aimed for no spots in particular, Jon's eyes narrowed on one spot in particular; right for the shoulder of the beast, hoping to remove the arm that swung it's mighty weapon and render it a cripple if not outright dead from the shock.

Teleporting to the mountain along with everybody else, Reimu looked around and was glad that she took the potion. She never liked the winter cold much. She was following Dell, when she heard Nadeshiko say something.
“What noise? Are you hearing things, you’re young to be going mental.”

....Reimu reluctantly concentrated out of doubt, and she heard it as well.
“Actually, you’re right I think, there is something out there. Probably just a rabbit or another animal though. I’m not really sure.”

Someone in another world might have been able to recognize such a swordsmanship style that Guy used as similar to "battojutsu," but to the blonde, it was the forbidden Sigmund Style, wielded with frightening speed and confidence.

"Moving out, then!"

Wielding her Windcleaver, Wakaba dashed out to follow Guy and the others up in close quarters. She darted in at an angle, swinging her sword to slice at the creature's legs. Not remaining a still target, deft footwork moved her in circles around the target as she sought to dig her blade into the creature.

Hopefully the others would fire their bows soon.​

Dell looked perplexed. "Hear something? In this weather? Probably just a bird or something."

"Perhaps, but I don't know..." Zelda said uneasily.

The wind would die down for the tiniest moment, and they would all hear it a bit clearer, now.

The Lynel didn't see the attack coming at all. As Guy made his first move, the other three following suit, it roared in pain as waa attacked. Quickly it took out its sword and shield, making a wide slash with both, as its shield had blades on the sides.

"Ready with your bows, everyone! We-!" Margreet was cut off as she quickly sidestepped a sudden slash from behind. To those not yet facing the Lynel, they had new opponents to face: three Yiga Clan ninjas had appeared in a sudden ambush.

From the trees near the Lynel, arrows began to rain down-aimed for those in the fray. "What the Hell?! You guys are supposed to hit the Lynel!" Kaito yelled.

Akuma would be found swiftly blocking arrows as well as still slashing the Lynel with good effects. Akuma would soon deflect an arrow the way it came as did Shallot with his shield while still slashing at the Lynel.

The sound of Shovel Knight's roaring voice pierced the ears of the three Yiga clansmen as the leaves in the treetops above them rustled with a flurry of movement. It was loud enough for those in the fray to hear. Just as they were in the middle of preparing another volley of arrows, a familiar dwarfish knight clad in full armor descended from above, yelling triumphantly as he thrust the Lynel Blade down unto the exposed head of an unaware ninja. Promptly after caving in his skull, the shovelrous warrior bounced off like he was on a pogo-stick, rearing the blade back mid-air and unleashing a violent horizontal slash across the chest of another shocked ninja.

The swift Drifter dashed out from a bush sitting nearby the third ninja, dropping into a powerslide and unsheathing the broadsword in one movement, slashing across the ninja's legs as he went before rising up to his feet and thrusting the blade into the ninja's chest.

Kokkoro swiftly appeared to counter the spear that prepared to hit Jin, overpowering it with her own spear and knocking the blue goblin backwards.

"Now's your chance, Jin! Master, the orb!"

While leaving Jin to fight the blue goblin, Kokkoro used her speed to appear behind the red goblin, and taking advantage of its focus on the hilltop group, slices its head off before it could turn behind to face her.

While all this happened, Yuuki reached for the orb...
