Main Event Calamitous Reprise

"Alright, if we're all good, then let's... go!" Guy exclaimed, before bolting forward, pushing himself off the ground like he was on a spring and charging toward the beast, practically out of nowhere from its point of view. He kept his sword gripped in his hand and sheathed tightly until he was right in front of the creature, drawing his sword at near lightning speeds and performing a mighty diagonal slash to its side, only to just as quickly withdraw and attempt to circle around it, occasionally unsheathing his blade to cut at it again from time to time.

Someone in another world might have been able to recognize such a swordsmanship style that Guy used as similar to "battojutsu," but to the blonde, it was the forbidden Sigmund Style, wielded with frightening speed and confidence.

"Catch me if you can, monster!"

"Moving out, then!"

Wielding her Windcleaver, Wakaba dashed out to follow Guy and the others up in close quarters. She darted in at an angle, swinging her sword to slice at the creature's legs. Not remaining a still target, deft footwork moved her in circles around the target as she sought to dig her blade into the creature.

Hopefully the others would fire their bows soon.​

Azel pulled the bow back, the bomb arrows Akane had given him in place. He let the arrow fly, the Lynel the target, placing another arrow into the bow and fired once again. However, the Yiga clansmen made their presence known at the worst time.

"Damn." he hissed under his breath, knotching another bomb arrow , he quickly glanced over to Margreet. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Guy managed to evade the Lynel's wide slash, not daring to even try to block it, made easy as he kept light on his feet, never stopping even if it meant his own slashes were relatively light. However, it was all interrupted horribly as ninjas appeared out of nowhere, aiming for them. An ambush party for their own ambush.

"Tch!" Clicking his tongue, the blonde young man crouched low and raised his shield over his body, hoping to protect himself from the brunt of the projectiles. Fortunately, with the aid of Shovel Knight, the Drifter, and those who remained back, the tide managed to keep equal at the very least, the young adventurer keeping his eyes narrowed.

"Keep attacking with all you've got! We can't let these guys discourage us, not when we're so close!"

"...oh my." Margreet looked at the three Yiga Clan ninjas who were now no more. "You boys certainly know how to make an entrance!"

As Azel questioned her safety, she nodded. "Yes, I'm all right. But they may not be!" Looking into the forest, they could see flashes of red and black in the trees as arrows rained down on the others.

"It looks like we have more than three of those brutes to deal with. Come on, everyone! The deaths in the bazaar are going to be the last!" Drawing her own bow and Ice Arrows, Margreet began shooting into the treetops, hoping to stop Yiga Clan members from doing any more damage.

Taking a brief moment to withdraw its shield, the Lynel would use its free hand to knock Shallot into Guy as they shielded himself from the arrows, and slash at Akuma with his sword.

"Wait...that ticking!" Zelda frantically looked around, noticing Dell about to walk on sonething crawling through the snow. "No!!" Grabbing him by the collar, she pulled the android away, just in time to avoid a small explosion that would have decimated him.

"Shit!" Dell stumbled back, staring at the spot he had just been in. "Fucking Hell!"

"Ahahaha! Surprise!" It was then that everyone's favorite clown made himself known. Seated on a rather large mound of ice, he grinned at the group as if they were old friends.

"Another gift to you Dell, just like last time! You're fortunate-this time, there's a princess here to pull you to safety! Fortunate for you, fortunate for me!"

"Fucking Hell, we don't have time for you!" Dell spat at the clown. "Get out of our way, you piece of shit! We already got rid of your little friends, it's over!"

"Oh, you'd like to think so, yes? Think that it's just a few more missions, then victory? But how would that surprise anyone? Hm? What a boring and predictable ending that would be! And we don't want that, do we?"

"You don't, but we certainly do!" Efi said, glaring at Mephistopheles. "We're going to go home and get everyone back to where they belong!"

"Hee hee! I'm so glad to see you're still alive, little Efi! I get the feeling you'll go on to do great things back home...if you survive that long!"

"If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get," Dell growled, unsheathing a glowing blue sword.

"Hmm? Oh, no, no! If you fight me, that fight would be predictable! You're nowhere near strong enough to stop me!" The Caster giggled wildly. "No...you'll fight him instead! One last gift to you all! Eehehehehehe!!!" He vanished, and the ground began rumbling. The ice mound he sat on grew taller and taller, rising up from the ground until...

"Motherfucker!!" Dell groaned, getting his weapons ready. "Everyone, be on your guard!"

The goblin snarled at Peter's attack, and knocked back into the wall of a ruin. Getting up, he scurried to grab the nearest weapon, a sword, before slicing at Kokkoro from behind as she was busy with the red one.

Yuuki was free to grab the orb, and would notice a note attached to it.

Seeing the strike going for Kokkoro's back, Jin's eyes narrowed and he stepped forward, aiming to block the attack with his own blade. If done so properly, he would lock themselves together for a moment before pushing the beast back, aiming to throw it off balance in order to open a way to stab it through the chest.

"Kokkoro!"

Yuuki would exclaim as he prepares to run for it, but before he could, Jin had already prevented the goblin from ending Kokkoro there and then.

"I'm alright, Master!" Kokkoro says. With Jin's counterattack, Kokkoro prepares to combine strikes with Jin to defeat this final blue goblin, charging a piercing attack to be used in unison with Jin's.

"HAAAAAA!"

"Thank you, Jin..."

Yuuki, on the other hand, reads the note.

Guy let out a soft gasp before Shallot's body was knocked right into him, sending both of them into the ground with a painful thud. The blonde almost felt the wind get knocked out of his body, but he didn't have time to register that he was out of air. He needed to keep moving. He needed to keep going. He needed...!

Gently pushing Shallot off once his body, faster than his mind, recovered from the shock, Guy scrambled back to his feet, almost to a clumsy degree as he teetered between focused and unfocused, but he had to rise beyond those. He had to let his body do the moving; he could not depend on his mind here. The mind was prone to doubts, second-guessing, wonders.

The body did not have such limitations.

The body acted on what the mind wanted before the mind could even conceive to want at all.

"You won't get rid of me that easily!" Guy exclaimed at the Lynel, hoping to get its attention, running up to it just as it attacked Akuma, not wanting to give it time to recover from the onslaught of everyone's attacks -- even with the ninja on everyone's backs -- at all, unsheathing his sword once again to perform a myriad of slashes, but with heavier attacks this time, braving to even stab into its body with his blade!

"YAAAAH!!!" Pinned in place by the two attacks, the goblin would lose its head the second that Lee chopped it off with his axe. It vanished into Malice clouds like its brethren, and the once populated ruins were finally empty.

Catching his breath a moment, he looked up to Yuuki once it was all over. "Does that one have a note too, boy? What does it say?"

The note said:

"Hello there! Congratulations on finding the second Traitor! I'm sure you're all ready to get off this island, and you can! : )

Unfortunately, this orb, once placed on its proper pedestal, will only send eight people back to the mainland! But don't worry...everyone else on the island will be able to return once the final orb is found! But be warned...it will be the hardest to get yet!

Good luck, and may you defeat Ganondorf and go home in peace! : )"

The Lynel roared loudly as Guy attacked, now switching its sword for a bow. Attempting to match the speed of the attacks, the Lynel began spinning around, launching a large volley of Shock Arrows all around the group. It would have done more, had it not suddenly been mounted.

"Knock it off, you giant horse! This end he-w-woah!!!" Kaito, having snuck up onto the creature, was now clutching onto its mane for dear life as the Lynel bucked violently to get him off. At least it kept him distracted for a moment, though how long was yet to be seen.

With a scowl as he sheathed his blade once again, Jin denied the chance to return with a resolute tone, "I would rather simply wait here for the final orb and aid in capturing it. Less likely to involve some madman attempting to kill me again, and I'd rather not tempt a third revival."

The Lynel didn't see the attack coming at all. As Guy made his first move, the other three following suit, it roared in pain as waa attacked. Quickly it took out its sword and shield, making a wide slash with both, as its shield had blades on the sides.

"Ready with your bows, everyone! We-!" Margreet was cut off as she quickly sidestepped a sudden slash from behind. To those not yet facing the Lynel, they had new opponents to face: three Yiga Clan ninjas had appeared in a sudden ambush.

From the trees near the Lynel, arrows began to rain down-aimed for those in the fray. "What the Hell?! You guys are supposed to hit the Lynel!" Kaito yelled.

The sound of Shovel Knight's roaring voice pierced the ears of the three Yiga clansmen as the leaves in the treetops above them rustled with a flurry of movement. It was loud enough for those in the fray to hear. Just as they were in the middle of preparing another volley of arrows, a familiar dwarfish knight clad in full armor descended from above, yelling triumphantly as he thrust the Lynel Blade down unto the exposed head of an unaware ninja. Promptly after caving in his skull, the shovelrous warrior bounced off like he was on a pogo-stick, rearing the blade back mid-air and unleashing a violent horizontal slash across the chest of another shocked ninja.

The swift Drifter dashed out from a bush sitting nearby the third ninja, dropping into a powerslide and unsheathing the broadsword in one movement, slashing across the ninja's legs as he went before rising up to his feet and thrusting the blade into the ninja's chest.

"Keep that counter-ambush going!" Akane roared towards Shovel Knight and the Drifter as she notched a bomb arrow in her bow and ran through the trees, dodging volleys of arrows. Once she had a moment clear, she fired one bomb arrow at the bucking Lynel's feet. Then she radied another bomb arrow and fored it at one of the red and black blurs of the Yiga darting between the trees.

Akuma had dodged the slash and Shallot was saved thanks to Guy as they kept up the assault on the Lynel while dodging arrows as they both went for the Lynel's legs when it settled from bucking.

The goblin snarled at Peter's attack, and knocked back into the wall of a ruin. Getting up, he scurried to grab the nearest weapon, a sword, before slicing at Kokkoro from behind as she was busy with the red one.

Yuuki was free to grab the orb, and would notice a note attached to it.

Shovel Knight glanced up at the mention of more Yiga clansmen appearing, and sure enough he saw red and black blurs rustling through the treetops above.

"There's more of them?! The fiends!"

"Hm. You go high, I'll stay low."

Shovel Knight thought about it for a moment before shooting a nod to Drifter, who unslung his longbow and notched in a trio of Shock Arrows. The swift vagabond began rushing through the trees like a predatory animal, expertly dancing through the hail of arrows whilst peppering the treetops with his own array of Shock Arrows. The electrical shock of these arrows produced a distinctive light show in the trees, 'marking' the stunned clansmen that were struck by the arrows - immobilized and vulnerable.

Shovel Knight noticed the lightshow above him and soon enough he figured out his friend's plan.

"I'LL TEACH YOU A LESSON IN JUSTICE!" Shovel Knight roared triumphantly, buckling his feet and leaping grandly off the ground like a majestic rabid squirrel. With one might swing, the knight cleaved through two paralyzed clansmen like a hot knife through butter, sending their limp bodies toppling from the treetops.

"SHOVEL JUSTICE! HUZZAAAH!"

Whereas the Drifter was a runner, Shovel Knight was a jumper. The small blue knight hopped from branch-to-branch, slicing and dicing through a flurry of exposed, confused, shocked and paralyzed clansmen. With no way to react due to the paralyzing effect of the Drifter's arrows, the assassins were left to helplessly watch as the Blue Burrower lunged towards them like a homicidal frog with a mission, yelling proclamations of justice as the Lynel Blade cut in bothersome divides within their spinal cords.

The duo continued their counter-ambush with stunning effectiveness, as Shovel Knight was cutting down enemies at the same rate the Drifter was stunning them.

"Hell yeah! You guys keep it up!" Shallot said as he continued to assault the Lynel.

As the Lynel fired his barrage of arrows all around, Guy ducked and rolled right underneath the creature, laying on the ground underneath the creature's body to keep safe from his attack. Using this opportunity while he was in (presumably) a vulnerable spot, Guy thrust his sword up with the intent of stabbing into its body underneath, until it was time to get out, Kaito's attempt to mount the creature putting the swordsman in danger as the Lynel began bucking all over the place.

Still, it wasn't all so bad! After all, with its attention drawn away still, Guy could continue doing as he pleased so long as he kept careful. Too bad his special artes were still lost to him at this moment, but that was fine. A good swordsman didn't need to rely on his flashy artes, after all. Just a well placed attack!

Along with Shallot, Guy furthered his assault on the creature, rapidly slashing and stabbing at it, nearly threatening to wear his arms out the more time passed!

The Lynel had finally gotten Kaito thrown off him, the astronaut stunned momentarily. "Look out!" Margreet swiftly ran into the fray, grabbed him by the arms and pulled him to safety just as Akane shot her Bomb Arrow.

BOOM! The explosion rocked the area, the creature falling to its side. As it fell, it would reequip its sword and bring it down flatside to cause a tremor of his own.

Meanwhile, thanks to the Drifter and Shovel Knight, the Yiga Clan started falling one by one. Soon, those still alive began trying to aim for the small airborne knight, as bodies of the slain fell from the trees into the battlefield.

Mount Hebra was snowy, but thanks to the elixirs, you couldn't feel the cold. It was relatively peaceful, thankfully. "Okay, the Flight Range is just through this little pathway over here..." Dell motioned for the group to follow him. Through the winter winds, a faint noise could be heard.

"Wait...that ticking!" Zelda frantically looked around, noticing Dell about to walk on sonething crawling through the snow. "No!!" Grabbing him by the collar, she pulled the android away, just in time to avoid a small explosion that would have decimated him.

"Shit!" Dell stumbled back, staring at the spot he had just been in. "Fucking Hell!"

"Ahahaha! Surprise!" It was then that everyone's favorite clown made himself known. Seated on a rather large mound of ice, he grinned at the group as if they were old friends.

"Another gift to you Dell, just like last time! You're fortunate-this time, there's a princess here to pull you to safety! Fortunate for you, fortunate for me!"

"Fucking Hell, we don't have time for you!" Dell spat at the clown. "Get out of our way, you piece of shit! We already got rid of your little friends, it's over!"

Akuma and Shallot jumped, avoiding the tremor, before they dashed in again to slash and hack the creature while it was down. They were not taking any chances.

" I can see the problem of sending you away now. We need all our warriors to face that. I still stand by the chef and the kids going by. But who else should we send back or just send five back?"
