"Really?" he blinked, surprised most by the stealing but not sure why they had woken him for all this if it was over now.

"I..would have to assume so" She answered "i mean how can I possibly know for sure?"
 
The twins nodded. "But now she's our cousin," Tam told him soberly.
"No, Vlad's cousin," Tim corrected.
"Vlad's cousin? I thought she was our cousin."
"No, Vlad's, and her name is Anna."

Claudius considered the question. "I do not know," he admitted. He reached out and tentatively patted her shoulder. "Trust your heart." It sounded good, so hopefully that was the right advice to give. "You know what is right. Somewhere in there."
 
His head tilted "you teo are confusing me..." he finally admitted "Spectra is Vlads cousin?"

Camilla drew in a breath and nodded slowly to his words "thanks Claudius...I'm not sire what yet but...I need to do something...I can't let my brother keep doing this to me"
 
The twins glanced at each other. "Spectra got her wings back," Tim began slowly.
"Because she is really a Fae," Tam continued.
"But she needs to hide from Felix."
"So Vlad is letting her pretend like she is his cousin."
"And she looks so different now!"

Claudius tipped his head in agreement. "It is a worse cage and a worse torture than I ever went through." He paused. "How do I help?"
 
His eyes widened slightly "a fae? I knew she was special but...wow.." he knew enough about fae to know how powerful they were and not to mess with them

Camilla shook her head "I don't know Claudius... just..keep being supportive like this for now..."
 
The twins nodded excitedly. "She is so pretty!" Then they stopped and shyly glanced at each other. They sat in silence for a moment, speaking without voices.
Then Tim nodded and looked at Star. "If you had a wish, what would you wish for?"

Claudius hesitated then asked reluctantly, "May I ask for your aid?"
 
Star thought about that for a moment "I'm..not sure" he said "I have all I need here and all I want.." he was easy to please

Camilla nodded "oh of course. Anything you need" she said. Her willingness to help hadn't changed
 
"There must be something," Tim pressed curiously. "Something you have always wanted? A dream? Someone you want to see? Something you want to do?"

Claudius picked at is skin. "I have things... It stuck in my skin and I cannot get it out." He was referring to the metal shrapnal.
 
"Maybe....to see family again" he finally answered, his voice soft "but they gone. . It is not a possible wish" he fidgeted with the end of his tail

"Oh! Oh my yes. I will ho get my kit" she said but paused "will you...hold on to this a moment" she held her diary to him. Afraid she would lose it or be spotted and it taken from her
 
Tim inched forward and reached out to touch Star's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Star," he said softly.

Claudius nodded gravely. "I will protect it," he promised. He tucked it into his nest, but he knew that was rather obvious. Maybe later he could find a better spot if he had to keep it for long.
 
Star looked up and smiled a little "it's ok..I have.. new family now?" He still wasn't sure if they were ok with him claiming them as brother yet. They hadn't be3n too keen before

Camilla stood "I'll be right back" she promised before slipping out to go fetch her kit. Trying to be careful nobody saw.
 
"Yes!" Tim declared enthusiastically, scooting forward to hug Star tightly. "You are ours now."
Tam smiled a little, watching them.

Claudius waited, crouched, listening intently to the outside world. He wondered what had happened with the twins and that weird box. So many things he could never find out stuck in here...
 
Star smiled and hugged him back "see..I have all I need" he repeated his first response

It wasn't long before camilla slipped bqck inside "alright lets have a look...what happened anyway?"
 
Tim grinned. "Since you are ours now, I want to tell you a secret!"
"Tim, no!" Tam protested.
Tim pouted angrily. "I want to!"
Tam hesitated the shrugged resignedly.

"I would not know how to begin to tell you," Claudius admitted. "It had to do with the annoying twins, a box, and anti-magic."
 
He glanced between them and tilted his jesd "if you don't want to tell that is ok" he said to Tam though he was curiouse.

She smiled "I'll find out from Vlad then" she said "alright if it hurts tell me ok? They look small it shouldn't be too bad"
 
Tam just shrugged again and nodded to Tim. Tim leaned over and whispered a secret for only Star to know.

Claudius dipped his head. "I am not easy to hurt."

"I know" she said softly before she set to carefully pulling out thr slivers and healing the minor cuts. She had forgotten how healing him before had effected her. Much more draining than it should be
 
"But remember, only you get to know the secret," Tim cautioned, smiling shyly, watching Star nervously. Both twins were, afraid Star would treat them differently now.

Claudius watched her a moment then reached out and touched her hand to stop her. "Please don't heal. Just pull out the slivers?" he asked. He hadn't forgotten. She'd gone through enough. She didn't need to go through that again.
 
Star smiled at the two of them "I am very good at secrets I tell nobody" he promised "but I am curiouse...why is it a secret?"

She blinked and look4d up st him "are you..sure?" Seemed silly but she could bandage them instead
 
The twins glanced at each other. "It used to be safer that way," Tam said.
"Now, it is more fun," Tim admitted with a smirk.

Claudius nodded. "You tried to heal me before. I don't know why, but it hurt you. You seemed..." He paused, tried to think of the words. "Like a ghost."
