She shrugged a little "not great if I'm to be honest" she answered. She didn't like to lie.

He nodded "be sure you are not seen. I don't want to clean up any messes" he sai, smoothing the brim of his hat before putting it on as if talking of murdering kids was casual and normal "I have a show to do in thirty minutes." That meant time tl draw in thr crowds with his charm
 
"Oh? Is something bothering you?" Vlad asked casually, still working. He worried for her, but showing too much interest might make her retreat.

Keith nodded. "I will watch them and wait for quiet. If they stay until the preformance, then it will be easy to capture them without anyone noticing." He started backing out of the wagon. "I am certain you will do a wonderful job, sir!"
 
She hesitated to say anything, glancing to make sure they were alone "Just...what we talked about...my brothers" she said softly. "And some kids...they saw..me and Claudius" she looked away, focusing her eyes on the brightly colored cloth in her hands

Felix nodded "good. You know where to take them. We will have to wait until after the final show tonight to make the payment"
 
Vlad glanced at Camilla then stepped over and put a hand on her shoulder. "This is hard, I know, but I feel you will figure out a solution," he told her gently. "I will help you in any way I can once you decide what to do."

Keith smiled and nodded before skipping away. Time to find some children! Time to stash them away out of sight. To bad the girl had brains. The boy was totally asking for it and had dragged her into it. Oh well!
 
Camilla nodded, hesitating a moment "right now I..I just need a hug I think" it wasn't something she would normally ask for. Always worried what her brothers would think if they saw hwr getting too close to someone
 
Vlad needed no other encouragement. He turned and wrapped Camilla in a warm, brotherly hug. Let the others think what they wanted. He'd do damage control if he needed to, but for now, Camilla needed him.
 
Camilla held on to him, the faint trembling much more evident now as she buried her face against his shoulder. Releasing the tension. She was safe and comfortable with him. She desperately needed his support right now while ahe pulled herself together. She couldn't rely on her brothers foe that now.

That was about when Spectra happened by, pausing when ahe noticed. Very clearly something was wrong here
 
Vlad stroked her hair gently. "I'm here. It is okay," he said softly. "No matter what, I'll stand by you."

Kazimir noticed Spectra right as the twins did. "Spectra!" the twins squealed, running over.
"Hello, Pretty Lady!" Kazimir greeted her happily.
 
Camilla said nothing, just needing a few moments before she could be social.

Spectra smiled brightly "well hello my favorite pair of helpers!" She said cheerfully "I hear you've been good today yes?"
 
"Well good" she crouched down "because I found these thats just don't match any of my outfits" she opened her hand to reveal a couple of sparkly buttons "thought you two might like to add to your collection"
 
If course" she smiled "good behavior must be rewarded!" She said happily. Proud of the young twins
 
They carefully took their buttons then dashed off. They would hide somewhere and examine their treasures, oohing and Ahing over them in private. That was their way.

Kazimir watched the whole thing with happy curiosity.
 
Spectra watched them go before she stood and looked over at Kaz "afternoon" she smiled "what do you think of our set up here" she motioned to the circus at large
 
"Yes pretty much. It's how we ear money to survive. It's not the life for everyone but its exciting" ahe shrugged a little "why don't I show you around. I think Vlad and Camilla need some time alone"
 
Spectra smiled "exactly!" She said and held a hand out to him "let me show you around then and we can get you to work helping out hm?"
 
He nodded quickly, moving to walk with her. The golden threads in his coat sparkled in the sunlight. "You are a very good guide to have. I look forward to learning with you."
