Conley Brothers

"Am ok..little shaken..is that right?" He looked at Vlad. Not sure if it was the right word or not

--

She frowned and tried again to get up "I have to find him..he is old and never been alone.."

Vlad nodded. "That is a good word."

Tim considered this then held out his arms. "Hugs?" he asked star.

~~

Kazimir held out a hand. "Wait! No, you cannot go. You are hurt! But... if you stay and look after Chibi, I will go look for you."

Star nodded and accepted the hug, definitely a snuggly little fellow, he even purred a little, faint but there.

--

She shook her head "he will not come to you" Adanya protested "I must go" she tried to stand but stumbled and fell instead

Tim held him close, and after a moment, Tam joined in, and they snuggled Star between them. Vlad sat on the edge of the bed and smiled tiredly. He'd been worried about these three getting along as more then casual playmates, but it seems the twins had accepted Star.

~~

Kazimir cocked hos head as he watched her fall. "Hmm, yes, I can see you will benefit much this way," he commented. He reached down to help her up. "If he will not come to me, and you cannot go to him... if perhaps I had thing with your smelliness? Would he follow that?"

Star was happy to snuggle with them both, his quiet purring became louder.

--

Adanya pulled away from his touch and all but growled at him "he will not" she answered him, moving back from him, she did not like to be touched

Kazimir crouch to be more on her level. "You worry for this Striker, yes, and this is admirable. But you cannot help if you cannot stand. Tigers, they do not like help either, but sometimes you must do what they do not like to help them." He held out his hand with a patient smile.

Adanya hesitated a moment, watching his hand before she reluctantly took it. He had a good point so she let him help her back up again

Kazimir's smile broadened as he gently helped her up, trying to touch her as little as possible and giving her every opportunity to touch him first. "The one last question is... what about him?" He indicated Chibi.

Adanya only accepted the help to stand them let go. She still looked faint though "I am not a doctor" ahe said shaking his head "Camilla can help I can do nothing for him"

"Camilla could not do anything more for either of you." Kazamir very lightly poked Adanya right in the nose. "If you fall again, I will bring you to bed and make it so you cannot leave. You may hate me, but Vlad told me to look after you. I rather your hate than Vlad's anger if I fail. Now. Where do we start?" He offered his arm again.

She hesitated once more but reluctantly took his arm. Striker was more important than getting her way right now

"Where you found me" she answered, still a little blurry eyed and dizzy but also determined

"Very well. We go slow, and if you need rest, we rest," he said firmly. "We will find him faster if we go slow than if you collapse again, yes?" He turned toward where the faintest bits of his glittering dust still gave the area a dim lighting. They looked a bit like faerie lights.

She nodded and followed his lesd towards the spot near her wagon

She was right. Striker hadn't gone far at all. As soon as he spotted her coming he came out from under the wagon, limping a few steps

"Dear me, poor old fellow," Kazimir said sympathetically. "Were you injured, friend?" He stayed next to Adanya, holding her arm to keep her steady, but he held out his other hand to the tiger. "I am sorry you were hurt, friend." His voice was surprisingly kind of gentle for someone who seemed to constantly be on the move, and he was still, steady, and quiet.

Adanya shook her head "put your hand down" she said softly before she let go of him and sank to her knees

Striker eyed Kaz but came a few steps closer to Adanya

Kaz sighed but did as he was told. He just wanted to make friends. It was so easy with so many people who spent only a few seconds of time with, yet the people who mattered were so much more resistant. He watched the tiger quietly wondering if he would ever make friends with a tiger. Probably not. They didn't look like they liked hugs, either.

Striker took his time closing the distance before butting his head against Adanya and sitting down "he is hurt. He will bite when he is hurt" she explained to Kaz as she pet his head, she herself visibly calming as she pet the tigers head "he will tell me how to help. We must be patient"
