Conley Brothers

Striker lazily climbed down from the wagon and crouched by the food as he started eating? Ignoring Kaz

"Thank you' Adanya said, leaning against the doorframe now that Striker had left her side

And Adanya was not either. Bluntness was her way anyway. "Not strong enough to stand" she said simply "I am not well Kazimir"

Kazimir frowned and stepped forward. "That's not good. Why did Vladimir leave you in the doorway?" He held out both hands to her. "Come, I will help you back to your nest. Have you gotten food? I will get you food."

She hesitated but reached up and took his offered hands, allowing him to help her again.

Striker paused in his eating to watch them but made no move

Kazimir moved slowly and carefully as he guided Adanya back to her nest. "There! All cozy," he said once he had her comfortable. "Now, have you eaten? I should go fetch you some food."

She nodded "Vlad brought good for me" she said, making herself comfortable in the nest of blankets and pillows "I will not be able to drive...." she admitted

"I can drive!" Kazimir offered. "I am a very good driver." He hesitated. "Mostly. Unless you have someone in mind? I could go get them."

She smiled a little ""nobody in mind..be happy for your help" she didn't trust many but for some reason, she trusted hum already

Kazimir nodded happily. "Then I will come and drive for you! I have to go speak with Vladimir first so he does not worry. He worries too much, like a mamă with little children." He made a face then grinned. "When do we move away from here?"

Adanya smiled "he is a good man who does have children." she pointed out but gave a nod to go ahead. She would be here waiting "he will onow when we are leaving...I don't even know the time now"

"Alright. You rest and enjoy the blankets. I will go speak with Vlad," he said cheerfully. He turned to go. "La revedere, Striker!" Kaz bounced off, whistling, as he went to find his brother.

Outside most already had their horses hitched up, Adanya of course did not, on any of her wagons. She always insist3d on doing it herself that the men who drove them.were unsure if they should or not

Kazimir smiled at the men. "Everyone else has the horses ready. Time for you to hitch the horses! We must go, mustn't we?" Then he skipped off to talk to Vlad.

Several minutes later, Vlad poked his head into Adanya's wagon. "The horses are hitched now. You are certain you want Kazimir to drive you?" Not that he knew of many other options.

Adanya had started to drift off to sleep again but lifted her head when she heard hin "yes. He will do fine I think. He is kind to offer. How is Chib?"

Chib had yet to wake but seemed stable at least

"There does not seem to be any change. I think this is a good thing," Vlad said uncertainly. "At least he seems no worse."

She nodded "I hope he will be ok..." ahe sighed before settling back to rest some more.

Spectra wondered over to Leons wagon, been awhile since she teased him

Kazimir came back in. "Hello! I am here to drive," he announced. "We shall be leaving soon, I think."

~

Leon was finishing up battoning down his hatches, as it were, and ensuring nothing in his wagon was loose and going to fall and break. His door stood open.

Adanya nodded "thank you" she didn't get up nor did Striker, she was getting uncomfortable having both in her space at once though

--

Spectra strode over and rapped lightly on the door frame "you in there handsome?"

"I will check in at lunch. Good luck," Vlad said as he slipped out.

Kazimir waggled his fingers at Striker. "Hold tight, pretty tiger and pretty lady!" He stepped out and carefully closed the door before getting up onto the driver's seat.

~~

"Hello, Spectra. Do you need anything?" Leon asked with a smile as he finished his last inspection. He walked over to the doorway. "What is up?"
