"Kaz is out there keeping an eye on him but. I think he will be fine" Camilla was confident about that at least. She just hoped she could get enough energy back to help Adanya more
 
Vlad's brows shot up. "Kazimir is looking after them?" He started to get up. "Then I should check on them."

Kaz shifted enough so that he could lean over and slid a hand under Chib's blankets. Oh good! Still warm. Nicely warm, too. Good. He put his arm back around Adanaya and looked up at the sky. "Ooo! Fluffy clouds today! I wonder if that means rain?" he pondered softly.
 
"Relax Vlad" she said softly "Adanya is out there too." She said "trust me Vlad. Just rest. We got this handled" ahe gently put a hand on his shoulder to puah him back down
 
Vlad reluctantly sank back down, mostly because he did not have the strength to resist. "Adanaya. Wasn't she hurt as well?"

Time and Tam stirred, and two heads of wild white hair appeared out from under the blankets. "Good morning, Miss Camilla," they chorused drowsily.
 
She frowned a little "she was hurt. I did my best but I worry she may lose sight in one eye" they were delicate and tricky to heal. Even magic wasn't perfect

Seeing the twins she smiled "good morning boys"
 
Vlad frowned, concerned, but tried to hide it for the twins.

"Is that tea we smell?" they asked hopefully as they climbed down from bed.
 
"Yes" she smiled "put a pot on for everyone. Why don't you go see if Kaz and Adanya would like some?"
 
One went out to see Kaz and Adanaya, and the other started poking about for more breakfast. Vlad watched nervously but let them do what they wanted as a sort of breakfast slowly materialized.

"Uncle Kazimir! Do you want breakfast and tea?" the twin shouted, making Kaz jump violently
 
This made Adanya jumped awake too, her eyes snapping open to which she yelped and put a hand to the injured half of her face, curling up tighter much like an injured animal trying to hide what hurt them
 
"Easy, easy," Kaz soothed her. "I am apologizing. It was my mistake." To the twin, he called, "Yes, please. We will be in moments."

The twin nodded and disappeared back inside.
 
Camilla stood when she heard Adanya yelp like that. That didn't sound good

Adanya stayed curled up but pressed against him. She trusted him. That was saying something on her part
 
"I think I scared Adanya," the twin said meekly, unaware of the true pain inadvertently inflicted.

Kazimir gave her a minute longer then asked softly, "Would you like some tea? I can bring you some."
 
"It's alright" Camilla assured "she's just used to waking up with her cat's not the sounds of people. You did nothing wrong" she assured before stepping outside.

Adanya shook her head faintly but otherwise didn't move
 
Kazimir tried to think of what else to say then brightened when he saw Camilla. "Good morning, pretty lady!" he greeted more enthusiastically than usual. "Did you sleep well?"
 
Camilla smiled "I'm still a little worn but alright" she crouched down by them "hoe is Adanya?" She asked gently, not liking the the woman behavior
 
"She is hurting and frightened," Kazimir said sadly. He started pulling away gently. "Adanya, Camilla is here to see you."
 
Adanya looked up with one eye, hesitated then pushed to sit up, letting Camilla gingerly lift the bandages.

Adanya hissed in pain but tried to stay still.
Camilla frowned as she examined the cut "this doesn't make sense..." it was clearly infected already
 
"It's infected but it shouldn't be" she frowned and gently started to clean the wound again.
Adanya gripped his hand tightly. "What cut her?" She had assumed it was Chibs ice blades
