Brayden Drake (Real name: James Braydon)
Age: 36
Job Description: Undercover officer for the WCPD
Personality: Bray is not someone you want to mess with anymore. He used to be someone that was loyal, kind, a smart ass, confident and hardworking. Now he is an arrogant, smart, calculating murderer who is on the run. He justifies his crimes as doing the right thing for the victim, convinced that that is what he did. He chooses what to feel and when to feel it and tries to manipulate those around him.
Bio: Bray and his best friend Corey were lawmen through and through. From the day they were both walking and talking it was all about joining the force which they did as soon as they turned 18. Both men decided that they wanted to be uncover and by the time they were 26 they were knee deep in O'Leary's international slave ring.
Three years into that undercover, things went wrong. Corey was discovered and O'Leary was sure that Bray was also undercover. So while Corey was beaten to a pulp, and on his knees a bloody mess, O'Leary gave Bray the ultimate test. Kill Corey at point blank range there and then to show that he wasn't an undercover officer as well, or don't and have the same sentence as Corey. Bray pulled out his weapon and shot Corey without a second of hesitation.
Since then it had been seven years. Seven years where Bray had been involved in the slave ring and no contact with his team in WCPD. It seems that he had been forgotten about and as the system had problems and was corrupt, no one had gone in to investigate and both him and Corey had been stated as MIA and then finally KIA. It was only true for one though.
Bray had been very active since though. He'd been sleeping with O'Leary's wife Lena and fathered a child, Devon. O'Leary thought the boy was his, and Bray knew it was only a matter of time before the resemblances to Bray would be seen or someone would click or catch him and Lena. So Bray worked hard and planned, getting them both back and going back to Westeria City, staying away from the precinct and the force. He'd been gone a decade and hoped that all changed enough that they wouldn't see him or connect the dots.
Bray had no idea that Thaddeus had been on the case and that the dots had been connected. Thaddeus found him and arrested him and people found out about this. O'Leary's slave ring had been taken down after a high-profile kidnapping and so he was questioned about that too. A warrant for a mind trawl meant that they also found out his thoughts about Corey.
Bray was arrested pending trial for murder.
3-4 weeks ago, someone opened the cell doors to the prison and all prisoners escaped, Bray being one of them. He assaulted an officer, handcuffed him to the bars, took his weapon and left. Now he's on a mission to find Lena and his son and take off before he's found.
