Dark Stuides

She relaxed on the couch and had stated to drift off again until she smelled the cooking going on. She opens her eyes to look over at the kitchen and smiled when she saw him cooking away.

He looked like he knew what he was doing and where things were. Fast learning for sure. That will help him. She yawns a little and thought of falling asleep again but sits up more on the couch instead.

Smokey leaps into her lap content to have a warm spot to lay. She began to purchase softly.

Once finished cooking he drained the water and shelled the eggs before slicing them in half and setting the around the toast on the plate. He then took the two plates to the table, "Come eat," He called softly to the woman on the couch. Hi joyful gaze taking her in slowly.

She arches a brow at him and gets to her feet. Walking over to the table she eyes the food curiously and smiles to him. "Looks good." She sits down. "Careful I might make you cook every time. Not used to someone cooking for me."

He chuckled, "If you ate what I made you would never eat anything unnatural," He told. After all his nose told him when something was odd about the food. So far she had been good about giving him all natural stuff. Not that the unnatural stuff would harm him in any way but he was sure it would harm her and the cat.

She smiles a bit, "I try to be careful with what I eat. " She smiles again then starts eating. It tasted amazing and she was savored every bit of it.

The demon savored his food slowly as he munched away at it. A small boiled egg had been set aside for the cat as well.

Smokey moved to the table and payed gently at Hexel's leg. She rubs around his legs too.

Mary smiles softly and nods. "I think she had forgiven you. " She says as she finishes her own food. "That was amazing." She says to him, smiling softly.

Hexel smiled softly at the girl, "I was hoping it would work," He winked at her. He glanced about her place just taking it in. He felt it needed a tiny garden or something he didn't know why. The demon mused softly as he leaned forward, "Why don't you grow anything here?"

She looks to him and tilts her head at the question. "Guess I never thought about it. Usually I'm always busy with studies that I guess I was afraid I would kill the poor plants." She looks to her window. "I could put a box on the seal there and it would probably do good. Just never wanted to forget about them. I'm so forgetful some times."

He chuckled slightly as he patted her hand, "I will take care of th plants after all I will need something to keep me busy while you go to school," He told her. It was true. He would likely stay at home and tend to things there while she went off to school.

She smiles softly and nods. "When we go to get you clothes, there is a garden place around here some where that we can go to and may have everything you need. " She was actually excited about the idea of plants in her small apartment. Something that she had missed from home.

The demon nodded as he stood gathering the plates before putting them in the sink. He would likely wash them when they got back. For now he would simply enjoy a little bit of time with her and the cat.

She smiles softly to him and watches as Smokey followed Hexel around as if waiting for him to sit down so she could leap into his lap. She smiles and shakes her head. Moving to her feet, she heads to the bedroom to get dressed. Once dressed she came back out. "I'm ready whenever you are."

After a while the demon simply scooped up the cat and put her on his shoulders so she would stay out from underfoot. He was terrified of stepping on the little thing. When Mary came out of her room saying she was ready he turned to blink slightly then smiled, "Great," He put Smokey on the couch and moved over to the woman.

She smiles softly to him and heads out the door with him, giving Smokey a soft kiss before they left. She leads the way to the store where they could by his clothes. at. They had plenty of options there that she knew of which was a good thing. She placed her hand in his as they walked. As they went down the side walk, she blinked a little, thinking she had seen something. She blinks again and shakes her head. She had to be seeing things. That monster was dead. Her mind had to be playing tricks on her.

The demon followed rather happily. When she put her hand in his he smiled slightly. His hair was down and flowed behind him slightly like a cap. Out of habbit he studied each and every person just encase they were a threat. A change in Mary's pulse which tapped against the back of his hand where he could feel it through her thumb caused him to squeeze her hand gently as he stooped a little to whisper to her, "Tell me and I will protect you from all dangers, Mary."

She was looking around again but there was no sign of what she thought she had seen. She let's herself relax and shakes her head a little. " Just imaging things." She says back to him, smiling gently.

Hexel narrowed his gaze slightly but nodded as they continued on. He was on edge now keeping eyes on every person that came close. There was one thing he was sure of, Mary had been afraid and it bothered him.

She stayed close to Hexel even after they got to the store. She smiles and shows him the men's clothes. "Not sure what you'll like but these are the men's clothes and they have a room you go into and can try clothes on to make sure they fit. "

The demon was fine with the woman sticking close to him. It made it easy to tell if something was coming for her. As they meandered around the mens section of the store he plucked a few tee from a display as well as a few jeans. He glanced over the sizes then eyeballed the clothes to see if they would fit. Feeling the need to at least try them on he moved towards the dressing room, "Stay near and shout if you need me."
