I'm going to tag people whose characters might be involved in this when/if it happens. @Jas @Dashmiel @Tiko @illirica

I was planning to have Grisham bring Marie with him when he goes down to meet the Bloodstones to ask his questions and perhaps become a prospect. (From may 22nd onwards IC) But relatively soon. He knows what she did in the past, and he thinks she could use their help. She's struggling a lot with a very powerful wolf, the Bloodstones can help. So he will become a prospect if she is also allowed to, or they at least keep her around for a bit until she has more control.

Ziessel and Rhetta will most likely know who she is when they see her. At least Ziessel will be extremely opposed to the idea of Marie joining, being near the Bloodstones etc etc. She would probably kill her under different circumstances. (We know she can't but she'd try.) Why(? Ziessel resents her to an extreme for blowing up 20 year old-ish Jesper by literally making him swallow an activated grenade, which lead to herself and Rhetta being WTF enough to be caught and then spend 5 years in jail, after which they have lost a lot of people who are very dear to them. Plus, knows if Marie would try to blow more wolves up? or try to kill them in their sleep? Maybe Grisham is her ally in this! yadda yadda lol.

If Marie isn't allowed to stay/join/doesn't get help, Grisham is very likely to decide not to become a prospect YET. He isn't stupid he knows he has little leverage btw and so do I. He's a nobody, and more than a bit stupid if you ask Marcellus and Ragenard. But he can take a beating, and he's useful. And he really, really wants help for Marie, so he will try. Even if he doesn't join them now he will remain adjacent and very likely see if they will take him in, after some time. This isn't meant as the ultimatum he thinks he's making lol.

If this is ok and something you guys are interested in being involved with, cool!. If you aren't and would rather this doesn't happen at all or for us to find a workaround, also good. I find it fun to have two characters involved, who want completely opposed outcomes, because regardless of the ending one will be mad about it and one will be happy. Plus it didn't feel fair to just hate hate hate on Marie IC and Grisham already considers her a friend :> so regardless of the outcome she will also have his support!.

Then IC I'm not sure who would decide what ultimately happens. Ragenard, Desmond(? after listening to what the rest have to say about it I can suppose. But it's likely to be a point of tension and gives us some interaction and character development.

OFC I just tagged the people who would most likely NEED to be involved, and anyone else is welcome to participate as long as it makes sense :3.

I had a logical and reasonable way for Ragenard to personally seek out Marie that was planned alongside the side plots in my thread, spun off from the thread about them meeting with a police informant. I had some discussion on it, but it was not finalized.

Perfectly happy to put it aside though, if you (and Jas of course,) want this angle instead.

It can work AFTER (because it's writing and anything can be made to work) the spectacular way it will seemingly fail on its face. I would only pursue and stay out of the way of this development as a GM if we agree to plan and discuss the scene's development when Grisham tries that, how it's gonna fail, and how we're gonna write in the characters then making it work.

Because while the drama is juicy, and juicy is good, we gotta keep in mind what is happening:

The guy who thought it was a good idea to stop a gangster to tell them they suck at their job and got his ass kicked for it, is using the "Ballsy Pass" the good showing in the beating got him...

To go up to his future boss to demand that the cop that killed one of their own (possibly in front of two direct witnesses), be pardoned, welcomed, and anointed as a prospect alongside him or he just won't be joining after all hmmph.

OOCly, it's good drama and workable.
ICly Ragenard is gonna struggle to see as anything but an ultimatum but (here is where Grisham again astounds him into a pass), Ragenard would see it as such a ridiculous and astoundingly "JFC the audacity of this one," that he would be off-balanced and not go for the immediate punt.

I talked about it with Jas and he's fine waiting on Marie's development a bit. So she will reject Grisham's offer to join him, he will show up alone at the railyard one morning between the 22nd and the 25th (for example, because I don't see why delay it further.). Talk to them and become a prospect, or not. But hopefully he will.
