You take in a sharp breath as you close your eyes. The tension building and your excitement is overwhelming you.
Almost there.
Four months had gone by since the teaser was released, and here you were, minutes away from holding it in your hands.
Faded Soul was the new handheld game.
This was the game everyone was waiting for.
It was its own system and it has world to explore endlessly and the amount of gameplay is infinite.
You and ninety-nine others would be the first to play.
Boy are you glad you pre-ordered.

The Game

Earth is slowly failing to preserve life. The human race is falling into extinction, and those remaining
are the only ones who can save their race.
After a series of disasters, the Earth has become torn apart and the ocean has begun to consume the land.
Evacuation has failed.
Humanities only hope lies within the hands of the Elysian race.

No one knew the Elysians existed until the disasters uncovered their civilization.
The Elysian race possess supernatural abilities and are the humans only hope.

But it requires a sacrifice.
Half your soul
and
enslavement.

Make a deal with an Elysian and they will keep you alive.
Half your soul will be gone, but as a human you can adapt quickly to such a loss.

Make a wrong move that your Elysian does not like, and you'll die.

Your life rests within the hands of an Elysian.

The existence of your race lies in your hands.

The choice is yours.

How this works:

Character creation starts with creating two characters.

First-
Your player

This character exists in a modern normal world.
School life, ect.
Make friends, hang out, live a 'normal' life.


Second-
Faded Soul Character

This character is the one that your player controls in game.
This character is either a human or an Elysian.



In-game characters will be paired.
An Elysian and a human.​

Add the third post in a row to involve the word "interest". I'm inexperienced at text-role playing so I'm a bit apprehensive of advanced mechanics (I control two characters at once? Or just one, and what's the second about?), but the setting is intriguing and I'd love more information.

I'm glad this has caught your interest!

You won't be controlling two characters at once, only one at a time.

Basically, your first character is the player who plays the character in the game. Sound confusing? Believe me it'll make more sense as time goes on.
