"Thanks."
Ben proceeds and looks about the area.
"And that is why I take fights outdoors... or an indoor place that doesn't break too hard. The locals are definitely going to notice this gaping hole."
He then looks to the myriad of people.
"Anyways, we came here to see if anyone indoors needed any healing- woah, who's that guy?"

Ben looks in awe at the shining one that was called a 'Grim Reaper' by some individuals in the room. He then shakes his head, snapping back into focus and turning to Schala.
"I'm not really a healing kind of guy, but I'll help however I can."

And so, the battle had ended. Deoxys loomed in silence amidst the empty battlefield as movement stirred around it, the surviving forces recuperating from a long struggle. Indeed, it seemed as if there was minimal damage to the M.E.U compared to the complete annihilation of the enemy forces, and judging by the allies spilling back out from the palace, it seemed as if the Great Spirit was secured. All was well; so they say.
It's strange, battling again on such a large scale. The pride demon proved to give Deoxys some semblance of a real battle between powerful creatures, similar to what it had observed from its solitude on Birth Island.
Solitude is, perhaps, the wrong word. There were occasionally disturbances in the form of humans and their pokemon partners, arriving on the island with hopes to add another powerful creature to their team. Deoxys never eluded these 'trainers,' partially because they were so rare but mostly because they came to that remote island with such seething purpose. It would be a horrible insult on Deoxys' part to deny them a battle.
The outcome was always the same. Trainers fleeing from the island, their unconscious pokemon cradled in their hands. Arrogant and cocky as they were, the urban legends of the Hoenn region state that the meteor-dwelling alien of Birth Island never dared to bring any organism, human and pokemon alike, to death.
Deoxys would have preferred to keep it that way. Fortunately, these enemies were neither human nor pokemon. Nothing is off the table.
Deoxys loomed away from the gathering M.E.U remnants, leaving them to their recuperation as it drifted to where Ben and some of the other allies had gathered, within the confines of the palace. It touched down next to Ben in particular, eying his human form up and down.

"Hm. Good. I was afraid it was going to be permanent," it remarked at him.
