Riesbyfe sighed as Shirou also joined the fray. She'd probably have a stronger reaction to the so-called reunion if she even remembered Shirou better, but it couldn't be helped.

"Even Cullen was rude every now and then at his best. Are the young folks really just ruder in general these days?" She went on, threatening to go off-topic at that point, but knew well enough to stop there.

Murky as her memory was, even the former Holy Knight could feel the tension arise when Clark saw Shirou appear. There was definitely some history there; it was only by hearsay that Riesbyfe knew what happened, as the memory of the event itself was one of many blurred moments in her mind, but even so, she instinctively gripped Clark's arm tightly from behind, as if to verbally remind him to keep civilized, no matter what, trying her best to be subtle about it all the while.

The man of steel feel the Knight's grip hold onto his arm, surprising him. Clark knew better than start anything. He was angry at the man, but as he calmed himself down, his body language reflexed, and soothed. Clark finally got the courage to look Shirou eye to eye..



"I'm good. I can't really complain. Just taking it day by day, you know? "

Clark, in his heart of hearts, had forgiven Shirou a long time ago, as much as his feelings betrayed him sometime. As he smiled at the man, it was earnest and honest, a hit a pain and anger though was noticeable if you looked hard enough.

"Who knows Shirou? If we work hard enough, and I can learn to put the past behind us for good,You and I? We could be a dynamic duo to be reckoned with."

Even if there was no need, the Witch of Miracles had been resting with a quick nap. Somehow doing it while still standing on her two feet. Something this minor made her feel human, given how she was growing more and more non-human.

She recapped the important bits while pseudo-napping. The Witch of Miracles, otherwise known as Lapis Lazuli, underwent a brief strain of paranoia. A miscalculation of her magic over Miracles proved to be harsh on her, allowing her to keep knowledge that she wished that she never held onto. She had a selfish wish to crystallize all existence, to keep it in a single moment, to never falter to any threat posed to the multiverse. But it was entirely selfish, out of pure fear for the unknown that the future gave in stride. This fear made her forget that she wanted to feel human, that she was acting like a disillusioned Witch that she didn't want to become.

It must have been a miracle granted to her, that there were people to wake her from her distorted desires. It played into her decisions that led her here. With the assistance of her fellow voyager Witch, she was able to get a hold of a custom prosthetic arm made out of an enchanted metallic material, acting as a guide for her magic cast using it. Not that she needed it, but it conserved the mana compared to projecting an arm using her magic. Aside from the point that the Golden Witch requested for one, Lapis figured to request for the other's help. She did take the time to go and request the help of another, given his condition with his blood infested with the Wrath's Essence.

And now she was here.

Eyes flutter open.

The rundown here was easy to understand. There were multiple locations to attend to. A choice must be made. It was easy to decide for Lapis. She silently went along with the group that made way for the observatory. Unless there was some way to sneak in, she interpreted it as the one way in and one way out. Simple as that.

❝ So. Um... ❞ The one thing she was not good at, especially with how recent events have played out, was making conversation. Even if she recognized a few faces in the group, she felt like a stranger almost. It was probably for the best that the Witch of Certainty was not able to tag along with her, because she was most likely going to sound like a mess in a few.

❝ ... is that a pegasus? ❞ She plainly asked toward Cordelia. All this time traveling the multiverse, and this was a first of her seeing a pegasus.

While he had spent some time learning new things since he had fallen under Beatrice's employ, there were still many things that caught him offguard, particularly when he traveled to other worlds.

Obviously her younger sister wouldn't be aware of the multiverse, since last she was able to check on her, she was living a mundane life as a college student. She completely cut ties with the rest of her family aside from siblings, so that couldn't be it. That only left...

Oh, how could she forget? She did run into him several times, and he wasn't exactly...

Blake's always been getting involved in things that he really shouldn't... ❞ More so saying this to herself, a tinge of regret lingered in her voice. Reiner looked perplexed, and somewhat curious as Cagliostro brought up meeting someone like Lapis. Someone with the same eyes.

"An Alchemist, huh?" He said, trailing off a little as he spoke.

There was a pause and a look of surprise as something suddenly occurred to him; he had yet to really share his name.

"Ah! Yes. My name is Reiner... Braun." He said, though he did give Lapis a few side-glances, noticing her odd behavior when she brought up her older brother.

It was likely Blake was also off on his own mission, like Kiyo... Which made it troublesome for either to join them this time around. Admittedly, he missed the company of the latter, but as long as those symbols remained on his hand, he at least knew she was alright, at least for now.

And though he was still one to take risks, he was determined this time around to return alive.​

Clark eyed the Alchemist as he corrected her. She always had to have a flair for the dramatics…..

Doing so was what led up to her traumatic episode and distorted desire in the first place. Plus, she had a tinge of guilt that he and a Servant named Kiyohime were swept up into her problems.

It seemed that the blonde man accompanying them, Reiner, was familiar with this Lapis in his own right, but the silver-haired knight zoned out a little as the girl kept talking, and that was when she figured it was high time to get a move on. Their circumstances certainly sounded complicated, even without the threat of multiversal destruction.

"Anyway... I suppose if this is the count, are we all ready to move?"

In the air, a faint buzzing sound echoed around, little tiny bugs flying around the group could be seen. Jack waved a few away with his hand, gritting his teeth. "Well Ryan, we're gonna be lookin' for the folks of Asgard and keepin' 'em out of the big battles." He looked down over the kingdom itself and gave a low whistle. "We got a lotta ground to cover, though..."

"The ground you speak of has already been covered." A man walked towards the group, his bright orange eyes looked over everyone gathered, before ultimately landing on Jack and those gathered near him.

"I guess I'm supposed to recognize your eyes too, if everyone else is gonna do that without much prompt, but Blake... I do indeed remember that name. I don't quite have the memory to associate a face with that name, but I guess that's neither here nor there right now," Riesbyfe chuckled uncomfortably, almost feeling left out as Cagliostro and Clark drew attention to the apparent coincidence that they had run across a fellow Point Zero survivor's sister from the looks of it.

It seemed that the blonde man accompanying them, Reiner, was familiar with this Lapis in his own right, but the silver-haired knight zoned out a little as the girl kept talking, and that was when she figured it was high time to get a move on. Their circumstances certainly sounded complicated, even without the threat of multiversal destruction.

"Anyway... I suppose if this is the count, are we all ready to move?"

"...Heh, pretty interesting Clark," Shirou smirked in response to Clark's apparent offer of forgiveness, though it had a friendly air to it. He wasn't quite sure what he was expecting from Clark, but not knowing was part of the excitement for him. "Well ball's in your court. I mean shit, I ain't complainin' if you don't plan to punch my face in. I said it when I got here, right? Looks like we're partners now."

All three of them... Knew each other?

Reiner blinked, realizing this group seemed to have some history for one reason or another, not sure what to make of it. For now, he just took things slowly, one step at a time. It was then that something Cagliostro said clicked with him.

"Beautifull girl... Alchemist?" He repeated, a bead of sweat forming on his brow as he spoke.

What Lapis said though snapped him out of it as he turned to her, putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry about it. You can tell me all about it when we have more time. And... You don't have to worry about me either. We didn't risk our asses to save you for nothing, after all. Even if it's part of my job, I'm still the one who made the call." He paused for a moment, his gaze turning to his right hand, where those red marks still remained.

"Besides... I'll have to try my best to return in one piece. I made her a promise." He added, tapping his right arm with his left fist.

When Riesbyfe mentioned heading to the observatory, he nodded, stiffening a little as he offered a proper salute this time, balling his right hand into a fist, putting it to his chest, right over his heart as his left hand wrapped behind his back.

"Yes ma'am!" He said, standing to attention.

Of course... He was no longer a soldier, but old habbits died hard.​

Cosmo looked around the group he had gathered around him. "Cosmo think it might be trouble with the horse, but maybe not, happy to see animal companion together on the battlefield."

"I'm already excited!" Bayonetta replied putting a lollipop in her mouth. She was acting like this was just another excursion of sorts.

"Everyone follow Cosmo," The dog lead the group far away from where the others were going down a mountainside into a secret cavern.

The cave system seemed to be massive and continue on endlessly. It was surprisingly wide enough in case Cordelia and her mare had to take flight. "Cosmo know of secret hidden somewhere in here. Is possible Cosmo is only one who know right now. Cosmo think it will help in battle if we uncover it."

There seemed to be two paths leading forward. "So which way are we heading doggy?"

"Cosmo not know, perhaps there is clue as to which path is right?"

"Never a straight path is it?" The Umbra Witch lamented before going to see if she could find something that could send them on the right path.​

With that, Riesbyfe and those who accompanied her were off!

The Bifrost Bridge, also known as the Rainbow Bridge for self-explanatory reasons when gazing upon it, was a rather long stretch of land, and from the Observatory, one could traverse to any of the so-called "Nine Realms" of this universe, and beyond. Of course, the main priority was the Great Spirit residing somewhere else within Asgard, but more than that, there was little doubt that this area would be of great use to the Revanchist if they were to capture it. And needless to say, that was why they would have to make sure that didn't happen.

Upon reaching the Observatory at the end of the bridge, they were met by a bearded man clad in heavy looking armor, clearly an Asgardian from the looks of it, seeming to have been waiting for them. Giving them a casual wave, he walked over to the group.

"Ah, guessing you're the cavalry," he said, extending a hand. "Name's Skurge. And you are?"

Nodding, Riesbyfe shook his hand. "Riesbyfe Stridberg," she introduced herself, to which the man furrowed his brow.

"... I'll call you Beef instead. How about that?"

"What?"

"Anyway, I'll be helping you lot hold the Observatory. If the Revanchist is as fearsome as everyone else has been sayin', sounds like we've got our work cut out for us," he went on, before gesturing toward the corner of the Observatory, in which a pile of trash... or rather, "assorted items" lay.

"In the meantime, you're welcome to my stuff if you'd like!" He said, gesturing toward the pile shamelessly. There were quite a bit of some odd items in the lot, between an actual scooter, some combat blades, machine guns straight from Earth, a shake-weight, some nice statues, and so on. Riesbyfe wasn't quite sure what to make of that, shaking her head.

"I-I'm fine with what I have," she responded, before letting out an exasperated sigh, "... I feel like I've made a mistake."
