The eleventh main event, hosted by an ensemble crew.

The Reapers have arrived. Throughout the entire universe they quarantined in this section of the multiverse, you've managed to be caught, and your planet has either been destroyed by these robotic beasts and you've been looking for a new home or you managed to excavated in time; or maybe you joined this group by choice hoping to find a safe haven to run to. But there isn't one, for the Reapers will come, and all will die before them; for these Reapers, they can not be destroyed, instead they adapt. Your ship is lead by Commander Shepard, and she will not run from this war; so together you all will find the Tribe of the Lost Ones, and end this needless war.

Disclaimer, the last part does not actually happen.

The Devil's Carnival

A side story hosted by CCC Kouhai.

Whatever you knew about heaven or hell, this place is like no other. The Devil’s carnival is the home to millions of wandering guests who have came to look for excitement in their lives; however, in a mysterious series of events, you were brought here for a reason. You may not remember what that very specific reason may be… Maybe it is a reason that has yet to be discovered. Either way, no one around you really cares about that reason so you don’t have to go into great detail. Heck, you may just be wandering here just to satisfy those around you because you have to be a big suck up. Even if there’s no importance to you or anyone else, you can still spend a great time riding the rides and being entertained! During your visit, you will spend most of your time interacting with others that were also brought to the carnival and work either together or by yourself in completing tasks and challenges throughout the tale.

There’s a catch. If you don’t closely pay attention to clues and have bad luck, you’ll end up bargaining for your own sanity!

You awake in foreign, unfamiliar woods.. Surrounded by odd beings of all shapes, races, and kinds. An intense pain throbs in your back, as though you’d been thrown on the firm, cool grass… Hard.

Which, in some sense, you had.

Climbing to your feet in a daze, unaware of where you or who these strangers around you were, becoming uncertain on what to do. A short distance away, a young boy and girl identical to each other seem to be talking away worriedly, and the others around you seem just as confused, disoriented, and out of place as you feel. What do you do first, player?

Restless in Rapture

The thirteenth main event, hosted by Jeremi.

You find yourself waking up on a wet damp floor. Looking around you'd find more people in the same state you are, some more peculiar looking then others.

Some more investigation reveals you're some place unknown to you. As you try to make sense of your surroundings you hear the sound of static emitting from a nearby radio, as well as the sound of an unknown voice. It explains to you that you are in a city under the sea called Rapture. How such a large number of people could enter this city with out its denizens or importantly its leader not knowing about it is a mystery.

The voice in the radio tells you that there is a way to escape this place but it will be perilous and it is very likely that everyone will not survive. So you venture forth, wondering how this group will work together... and who will end up killing who first.

Little Trouble in Neo-Tokyo

The third Illusion event, hosted by Minerva.

Science... One of humanity's most proud achievements. It has brought us almost everything our lives use. Virtual Reality, cellphones, military equipment, computers, medicine, you name it. In the right hands, Science can be productive, in the wrong ones, Science can cause mass chaos.

In the year 2019, a nuclear weapon's detonation caused mass hysteria, and caused a global nuclear war. Corporations saw the weaknesses of nations, and took over the nations. Japan came out stronger than ever, and built the biggest city known to man. The weapon's detonation woke up powers in some people, and the government began to test these, and the United Nations was notified of these, and allowed the testing of these Psychics.

When Anti-government sentiment began springing up in Neo-Tokyo, the United Nations formed an organization to deal with the anti-government forces that have cropped up. These forces would come against Corporation forces as well, a force that had been trying. Meanwhile, using science, the Neo-Tokyo Corporations have drawn people from the Multiverse, and captured them. Using their power to give ultimate power to the Emperor of Japan. This closes off the minds of the people who crossed the bridge, and drains their power. The corporations give them new Identities and histories, and sends them out into the city to do what they will.

You are one of these people. Welcome, to Neo-Tokyo. Enjoy your stay.

You wake up on a school bus driving down a lonely road deep in the Pacific Northwest. You're not sure how you got there or why-- you just don't remember. Were you kidnapped? Is it memory loss? What else could it possibly be? As you try to wrack your brain for answers, you can't help but notice that this bus is packed with other people and you likely don't recognize a single one of them.

As the bus winds its way along the forest road, you soon find it's on its way toward a quaint little town called Bright Falls. No one can be sure if they've heard of it, and it's not entirely clear if the town is everything it seems...

Civil War

The fifteenth main event, hosted by Atomic Knight and Ver.

The Coalition.

A major peace-keeping organization of the multiverse that works to fight the Murder Games phenomena throughout. Throughout the organization's lifespan, they have made many allies, such as the United Universes, the Multiverse Emergency Unit, the Brotherhood of Steel, and so on, but that's not to say there hasn't been rocky trust and animosity brewing from even within. Ever since as early as the Multiverse Hotel Incident (The Grand Hotel), a failure to report the events to the United Nations, which oversees the Coalition's activity, had sparked a suspicion of the Coalition from them, and ever since the Gravity Falls Incident (Welcome to the Falls), this strained relationship has surged into the Coalition itself as well, animosity brewing between the leaders. Suspicion of a possible mole within the organization hasn't made it any easier to trust others either.

In the midst of all this, Ilona, daughter of the late Queen Elsa of Arendelle and King Solaire of Astora, two then-survivors of the earliest recorded Murder Game, arrives at the Coalition Headquarters and by request, lives under their care, having been contacted by the leaders to watch over her, as visions from the high-ranking member Cosmo, visions that have been appearing as early as the Shibuya Incident (The Reapers' Game) and the Gilgamesh Incident (System Breakdown), had been plaguing the psychic pooch for some time. Though they had all been vague in nature, there was one common theme all these visions shared.

Death. Destruction. Despair.

You see, because she had been conceived by two people who had been in one of the early Murder Games, and by extension, endured the power of the Arch Demon, she had inherited some of his destructive power as well. Power so unstable that, according to Cosmo, could potentially become even more destructive than the Arch Demon himself ever was. Power that not even Ilona herself could control.

It was on this day that started out routine enough that everything changed. Whether you were a Coalition member reporting to HQ to deliver some mission reports, or a representative of the United Nations stopping by base with the intent to oversee the Coalition's activities, it was this day that shadowy forces that had been operating beneath the Coalition's notice would make their move and strike at this moment where the organization was at its most vulnerable.

And so begins the flash point of the Coalition, and the end of its false peace.

Nothing would ever be the same again.

And within this massive multiverse, a group of individuals, unlikely warriors and allies, are dragged into a world unknown to them against their own will by a mysterious, yet powerful, god-like being for a purpose unknown to them. A purpose entailing being the first subjects of a dangerous game under construction. A Murder Game. The Day of Sagittarius III

You come from a modern, technologically advanced version of earth. It’s a world full of computers, hovercrafts, spaceships, automated factories, robotic androids, and many other high-tech creations. You’ve lived on this planet for as long as you can remember…

...Or have you really?

Little do you know that you've actually been taken from your home in the multiverse, pulled into a new reality, and have been given new memories. You remember nothing of your old life. This has been done all for the amusement of one person: your ship's captain.

In this faux life, you’ve recently taken up a new job. It offers a free trip to anyone willing to leave earth on a retired warship for a safe, comfortable journey through space. The ship's destination is an empty, unknown planet. Aboard the ship is a team of archaeologists that intend to excavate its surface. The trip is to last nine months while the excavation is planned to take roughly three months. Until the work starts, you’re welcome to enjoy the ship's resort-like features. Everything is paid for; it’s like a free vacation.

Whether you’ve been hired as an archaeologist or are simply a family member or friend of someone who has been hired, you find yourself on the beautiful ship Sagittarius III, watching a pre-recorded greeting from your ship's captain playing one of the many screens inside the ship's social center.

The events of this event are non-canon to the Murder Series, and elements of its plot are set to be recycled in the following Illusion Game, Ascension, hence a large number of unknown characters due to the intent of their reappearance.

Either by some sort of weird coincidence, by accident... Or perhaps on purpose (somehow), many have found yourself plucked from wherever they came from, and thrown into a strange place, where reality does not quite conform to its usual paradigms, and various Universes seemed to have begun to merge with one another.

The deeper one goes down this rabbit hole, the more chaotic things have begun to look, with no end in sight... Or so it seemed.

As part of an apparently ragtag group of stragglers who have been plucked from their respective Universes, you are guided along by various clues... And a few strange individuals, through various dimensions interlinked with one another, some more than others, in an effort to reach the center of... Whater this increasingly obvious temporal chaos is.

While most seek answers, or at least a way to return to their own worlds here... There are those amongst you who have been given other tasks in secrecy, some with more malicious intentions than others. In either case, whoever, or whatever you might be... It would seem that the fate of your group, and perhaps even others... Rests upon your hands.

The Infinity Parable

The seventeenth main event, hosted by Jeremi.

The Mad Titan Thanos found out about the existence of a powerful object called Kingdom Hearts. From that time forward Thanos has slowly but surely gathered gathered a group of like minded individuals from other universes to help him stage his ambitions. Finally, after months of research and investigation he had harnessed the power to pluck people from their worlds into a prison of his design, all so that he could easily gather and harness seven Princesses of Heart necessary to access Kingdom Hearts.

Something however goes wrong and instead of the seven Princesses of Heart being summoned a large number of individuals get dragged from their worlds and trapped in the prison. Due to this blunder Thanos and his council will try again to make they plan succeed. From there the now trapped individuals will try and stage their escape and stop Thanos and his evil machinations.

Our reality is a multiverse where a near-infinite number of universes reside; never touching, but always together, side-by side. For the vast majority, the knowledge of other worlds beyond their own is nothing more than fantasy, at least until one woman came into their lives.

Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, had been traveling the multiverse using her unique powers. Following a tragedy, she had sought to find solace somewhere within reality. She traveled for many days until she finally stopped... and disappeared. To those close to her, Wanda has been missing for months, but now some sign of her has surfaced.

Arriving magically and without warning were invitations, sent out to many of the people Wanda had met throughout her travels in the multiverse. Not all were friends of Wanda, but the invitation asked for them all to join her at a grand party and provided magical transportation if they desired to attend. Some would come for friendship, others because they were worried, some out of a respect, and maybe a few wanting to settle something with the witch.

So she said, "I want you all to meet my family."

Isle Delfino. A tropical paradise just a few hours away from the Mushroom Kingdom, this beautiful island is THE place for a vacation that will relax and refresh you, no matter what you’ve gone through. Ever since a certain plumber rescued the Shine Sprites and cleaned up the mess caused by a certain Koopa, Isle Delfino has seen a massive increase in tourism, so much so that every ticket on a flight there has to be bought months in advance. Luckily, you arrive there without having to spend a single penny-in fact, you wake up on a plane with no recollection of booking a flight, or even knowing what Isle Delfino even is. But after a particularly rough landing, you soon find yourself involuntarily thrust into an adventure that’s like nothing you could’ve ever imagined. For there is evil lurking in this paradise, and nothing is as it seems.

Every move you make is watched, judged, calculated into a scheme where you could very well have no say in. And with just one wrong move, you could lose it all-including your own life.

A Night in Terror Town

You were hoping this be a just like any other normal day.

You were wrong.

You find yourself waking up on a chair inside a derelict bus station. Quickly you find that you aren’t alone inside as more people are seemingly having the same experience as you. Gathering your thoughts, you make your way out of the station. The town outside does not look any better than the bus station interior.

It seems like the entire town is deserted leaving you stranded in a ghost town. The only thing you hear is the crows screams through the broken glass ceiling. Anyone with powers trying to use them find them to be greatly diminished which is peculiar by itself.

On top of that for some reason you can’t shake the feeling that someone is watching you. Soon enough you realize that you have been dragged into a game of survival as horrifying monsters and death traps try to kill you at any chance they can. Even seeking sanctuary inside the buildings might not be enough to save you from the entity stalking you. How did you get here and how are you going to escape this living nightmare?

Brand of the Hawk

The twenty-first main event, hosted by Ver.

Within the kingdom of Midland, rumors exist of an all powerful group of deities known as the God Hand who control reality and fate to their whim. When a group of unrelated individuals from across the multiverse are gathered by this God Hand on a seemingly mundane whim, they are provided with an ultimatum; become a sacrifice to the God Hand in order to preserve their existence, the inherent evil within them as sentient beings being the source of nourishment, or find sacrifices to offer who were just as evil. In essence, they were tasked with finding an evil great enough to sacrifice to an even greater evil, or face oblivion.

As they embark on this journey against their own will for the sake of their own survival, the shadow of a dark cloud looms over the decaying land that they have been thrust into, as they descend into the heart of unspeakable evil, risking losing themselves to the darkness within their own hearts in the process.

And as all this transpires, a mysterious castle rises from the ground in the distance, holding an imposing presence as though it were a sentient being, gazing and watching those below it, almost as though taunting them.

And its name... was Castlevania.

Prisoners of Hogwarts

The fifth Illusion Game, hosted by Jeremi.

It has been two years since the battle of Hogwarts and Voldemort’s demise at the hand of the brazen Harry Potter and yet another year where Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry opens its doors to old and new students alike! The new students do not have much time to see the scenery however, they hear that the Headmistress dislikes tardiness in her students.

You are welcomed, or more rushed, into the Grand Hall of Hogwarts where the rest of the school are gathered as well as all the faculty members looking over the students with friendly faces. Most of them at least, others seemed to want to be anywhere else but here. Those same faculty members roll their eyes as the entire group was silenced by the arrival of the Headmistress of Hogwarts. Dolores Umbridge, the real hero of the war. With out her the entire Wizarding world was close to falling into chaos when Voldemort perished. As a show of great gratitude, the Ministry of Magic stricken humble by her great deeds practically begged Umbridge to take over Hogwarts. Of course, she accepted such a great honor, because who else could teach these children all that they needed to survive out in the world? After her rousing and in no way self-aggrandizing speech they are lead into their respective houses where they will live for the rest of the school year among their peers and delve into the fantastic world of magic!

Or, that is the idea. The students will soon find out that everything isn’t as it seems...

Far Away Lights

The year is 2257.

After a number of grueling trials and tribulations, those serving on board the USS Discovery are able to finally take a moment and breathe. The crew is not without its scars and wounds, but they are able to continue working with confidence, and perhaps that is the most important thing. However, as life as a Starfleet officer has proven to be, their time for reprieve is brief and fleeting, as they will soon find out.

When a mysterious accident related to the mycelial network occurs, a group of discombobulated individuals from across the multiverse are gathered and packed into one location; the Discovery itself. Determined to get this group of lost souls back to their home worlds, the Discovery makes their move forward, but this accident is quickly revealed to hardly be an isolated one, as the crew's voyage home quickly becomes a grand journey through space and time that, unbeknownst to anyone in that moment in time or even beyond, will shake the entire multiverse.

A journey that boldly goes where no one has gone before.

As the Revanchist organization becomes stronger and rises in power while the Coalition continues to scramble to maintain its reputation, the incomplete Magic God known as Othinus comes ever closer to her mysterious goal. She seeks the magical spear Gungnir that will ascend her to a true Magic God, and a specific form of the Arrow, a bizarre artifact that she hopes will ascend her power to a multiversal scale. Working alongside her is an ambitious man whose aspirations pierce the very skies themselves named Dio Brando, and his own confidant, Enrico Pucci, and all together, they come ever closer to conquering the entire multiverse.

Opposing the three are a man named Ollerus, a man who once came tragically close to becoming a Magic God, a powerful magician known as Fiamma of the Right, once corrupted by the evils of a villain long gone and now reformed, and Touma Kamijou, a former participant of the Murder Games of old, all of whom originate from the same world as Othinus. Having caught wind of the Coalition, they come into contact with the organization to warn them of the impending threat. Brought into full alarm, the Coalition attempts to call for another multiversal summit and unite the many organizations sworn to protect it, unbeknownst that the fractured rifts in their relationships are precisely what Othinus has taken advantage of.

She was ready to make her mark on the multiverse, and no one would stand in her way.

There's absolutely no denying it. In some way, in some manner, you've been naughty.

Maybe you're a criminal, maybe you're just a bad guy, or maybe you're someone who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time; no matter the reason, you've done something bad enough to make someone want to take justice against you. In most civilized societies, you'd be in jail.

Whether hurting others is something you take enjoyment in or it is something you feel is absolutely necessary, today is your day of judgment. You don't remember how and you don't remember when, but you've been taken from the world you know and placed somewhere you can't identify. Others are there with you and, for whatever reason, you can sense these people aren't so nice either.

This new world almost feels like a dream. It almost can't be real. Perhaps you've died... Perhaps it's all a lie.

The clock is ticking.
