Hey, I’m new here!
My in-character name is Zara and I’ve roleplayed on and off for a very long time now. Life got really weird for a while and I stopped writing interactively which makes me sad. I’d like to revive my passion for writing with others in a safe, healthy environment that encourages growth and inspires serenity.
I struggle heavily in group settings so I generally shy away from them due to anxiety on top of an issue with social cues. I deal with a lot of spectrum-related weaknesses that I’d like to learn to turn into strengths.
My favorite genre of writing is anything of the supernatural variety splashed with fantasy. I’d like to venture into new genres such as sci-fi and maybe horror/thriller types of stories. I’ve always enjoyed writing male and female roles though I lean more towards male characters to keep role play and real life lines drawn thickly as I’ve had past issues with previous writing partners crossing serious lines.
Typically, I will write two paragraphs and more depending on what the story and its vibe calls for. I enjoy many types of musings like incorporating music and creating visuals for world building though I do not have access to photoshop at this time. I am happy to be here and hopeful to build true and lasting friendships!
