How Green Becomes Wood

"I've seen you compete dude," Sloan replied, "But you and I both know how bad a fall on your neck can be and you never specified you'd learn at your gym, just that you bet you could do one. Plenty of people try to teach themselves in their backyards."

"We should all go together sometime!" Alec suggested. "We could bring a couple friends and all go, and you can show us all up!"

Xander shrugged. "Not the worst idea. Stitch could get some action shots. Who'd you bring, Slo?"

"Oh yeah, I mean she grew up doing gymnastics too. Although she's not planning to try to go elite," Sloan explained, "But you saw her on Halloween, she loves getting to just be a little bit goofy. Trampoline parks are perfect for that." Briefly she thought about suggesting Alec invite Emma but didn't want to put Alec in an uncomfortable situation so instead she just said, "I mean, how many of his friends seem like the type who'd just want to go and bounce around? We aren't seven anymore."

"She seems like she might, she's very energetic. Maybe we could do it over winter break?" She suggested, "And if the one we go to is cool, then in a few years the two of you can be hero big brothers who take your sister to get her energy out over the winter and give your parents a break."

The rest of school went by quickly, and soon it was time to head home. The twins went straight home, making better time than usual, meaning they arrived home earlier than normal. They headed inside and started putting away their things.
