"Oh," Daizi turned and quickly crossed her arms, a bit surprised but grateful. Over the sounds of Ivy crying she said, "No, I don't mind. I don't like covering her head, though, if that bothers you. Dark joins me sometimes, but he has to find a balance between sitting with me and Ivy and sitting with the boys." She paused for another moment to see if she could talk longer, but the baby crying was overwhelming so she hurried to the cradle and gently lifted Ivy, cooing to her in Arabic as she tried to get her at least a bit calmer until they got to the nursery, "You're welcome to sit with me, Sally, but upstairs. I know how the twins feel about it, and I'd hate a guest to wander and see something they're uncomfortable with."
