I don't really care about it, Sloan replied, She just hates the idea of her daughter having a facial scar. She's also mad that the bar broke and has been having a loooong talk with my coach about it.
You can hide me until the bruise is healed, then I deserve to show it off Sloan said. The video is crazy though. I didn't realize what exactly had happened until I saw it
Honestly it happened so quickly I didn't really have the time to be scared, if that makes sense? I kind of just went from doing a flip to being caught by the spotter and bleeding Sloan replied.
Right now, it's fine, but they also numbed it. Tomorrow it'll probably hurt worse. I'm not getting any prescription pain meds or anything, just OTC stuff Sloan replied, Pictures or not, you'll be graced with the ability to watch my face change colour over the next few weeks in person
Nah, they did a CT scan, I'm good I think, just waiting on the discharge papers. Anyway, I was pretty sure I didn't have a concussion because I've had one before and I felt way worse than this Sloan assured him.
Tomorrow will probably feel worse than today, because my head won't be numb anymore Sloan replied You two only get so many jokes like that, but I gtg, my mom is coming back into the room
Be safe! Alec said, and Xander and Peter seconded that.
"Alright, we'll wait until we see them pull up. Then we'll give them a bit to settle in, and then, we'll take them some cupcakes," Xander said, plating up some cupcakes to give them away.
"Yeah," Alec said. "One of the parallel bars broke, and she smashed her face into another one, and her eyebrow's, like, sliced in half! Her mom's mad at her because she didn't insist on a plastic surgeon, but she'd already been in the ER for ages! I wouldn't want to wait, either."
"Not to mention, who'd want to cover up a sick scar like that?" Xander remarked.
"Wow," Daizi replied, a bit shocked and a little impressed, "I've never even really thought those bars could break. I'm glad it's not more serious, though. I absolutely wouldn't have waited for the plastic surgeon, I would want to be released as soon as possible."
"I honestly didn't think it was possible to break those bars, either, but I guess it makes sense that they'd snap eventually," Alec admitted. "Xander's worried about her."
Xander scowled at him. "Am not."
"So, you made like three dozen cupcakes because?" Alec asked, letting the sentence trail off.
"Because cupcakes are good for small bites and making people feel better," Xander grumbled. "Mama, want a cupcake?"
"They do take a lot of force," Daizi said, considering it, "I'd love a cupcake! Your father said something about pudding inside of them? I don't quite understand how that works, but he sounded disgusted by the idea, so I have to try it."
Xander snickered and brought over the plate. "There are four flavors, but they all look the same, so I have no idea what you are going to get," he warned her.
The one she got was vanilla. There was not a massive amount of pudding inside, just enough to give a little surprise, and it gave the cake some extra moisture without the extra sugary icing. There was only a small amount of frosting, just a bit of innofensive butter cream.
"So now you know what it is like when I pick cupcakes," Daizi replied, taking which ever one was handed to her. After biting into it, she thought about the state of things for a few moments and then nodded, "That is better than it sounded in my head. It's different, but it's nice! I suppose you have to hope Sloan likes all of the flavours, though, otherwise she'll be cursed to randomly bite into one she doesn't like."
"I've got one I know she likes, and I made the most of those, two I'm pretty sure she likes, and one questionable," Xander informed her. "I'm glad you like it. I don't think Slo wants all 36 of them."
"35 since you gave one to Mama, 34 if you can get Ba to eat one, and 32 if we each get one," Alec reminded him.
