"I haven't decided yet. I want to keep it fairly simple - shocker, I know - so that it'll be more... timeless, in a way," Alec said. "I'm thinking of trying to work with the rainbow, but it's all still very uncertain. Kiki being the biggest concern." He watched Ivy closely to make certain she didn't try to eat a rock or anything.
Frowning slightly, while Ivy shrieked in delight over something she had found, Daizi asked, "I wonder if you could put a frame over a section of it, demarcating that small section off. I wouldn't know, it may not work if you can actually see it, but I can imagine the touch of setting one section apart."
"You'll have to let me know if it works for you," Daizi replied, turning her face as she heard Ivy's bells jingle up. She carried with her a big stick and was absolutely delighted by it.
Ivy waved it around, very nearly (and completely accidentally) hitting Daizi with it. Feeling the air rush by her face, she backed up a bit, and said, "Hummingbird, be careful, you came near to hitting Mama."
"Alright, Mini," Alec said. He reached down and gently turned her around, walking her away a few steps. "You can have the stick as long as you don't hit people with it, okay? I know, I know, sticks are so exciting! So we're going to stay over here where it's safe. For everyone else."
"If it doesn't, we'll just put her in the corner. Something will eventually work, we just need to find it," Daizi said, "and I've not decided yet. It really all comes down to what calls to me."
"Can I have a corner?" Alec requested. "Only if you aren't using it. Just a tiny little space. I've really enjoyed working with the plants Uncle Tristan has, and your plants in the garden that are already established, and if you don't mind, I'd really like to try something from seed to end. Only if there's a bit of space."
