How Green Becomes Wood

"I'm definitely keeping my mind on this one," Sloan said, taking a quick picture in the mirror, "Right now, it's by far my favourite."

"Here's mine," Claire said, handing Sloan a dark blue sparkly fabric, "It's a little different, but... I don't know. I think maybe you might like it."

Sloan went to change, and soon after opend the curtain. Now she was in a dark blue, sparkly, one shoulder number. Opposite the shoulder strap was a sleeve which reached down to her calf, and the space between the two left an interesting shape. At first, it seemed like a fairly simple cut dress, but then when she moved, it was revealed it was actually a jumpsuit, rather than a gown.

"It's crazy, I know," Claire said, trying to get ahead of it, "but I saw it and I wanted to see you in it."

"Not for prom," Alec said after taking a moment to take it in, "but... wow! It is stunning. Very sparkly. I'm loving the sleeve. The whole thing reminds me of something from a dance competition. How do you feel in it?"

"Confident? Not too leotard-like?" Xander asked.

"It is... A little leotard like," Sloan admitted, "but I do really like it. I feel like a popstar. Like Dolly Parton or something. It's really cool, my mom would hate it."

"Don't choose it just for that, though," Claire told her.

"I wouldn't, but it's interesting, you know? It's different."

"It looks like a power suit, and you look awesome," Xander said bluntly.

"If you like it, you should get it. It is unique! And you look powerful," Alec told her.
