"There is time," He said, holding Ivy in one arm and hugging Alec tightly in the other, maybe a bit more tightly than he usually would. Then, releasing his son, he walked over to Daizi but before he could offer to help, she handed him his cup and in no uncertain terms told him to go sit down. Only then did he turn to Xander to say, "I could lift you easily, like holding a grape."

Alec smiled and closed his eyes briefly as he hugged Dark back, feeling the extra tightness, which translated to extra love in his mind. He let Dark go and waved to Ivy as he went to go sit.

"Right, sure, I bet you could," Xander drawled. "While also holding that grape?" He indicated Ivy.

Dark looked down at Ivy for a moment and the said, "Yes, I think so."

"Careful, Ba. You wouldn't want to hurt yourself," Alec teased.

"That grape is all you can handle, I think, in your old age," Xander agreed, smirking.

"Usually when you doubt me, it is because you are trying to trick me into lifting you," Dark said, taking a sip of his coffee, "I am wise to your tricks."

Alec snickered. "Ba, I'm pretty sure if we wanted you to lift us, all we'd have to do is say, 'Ba? Will you lift us?' Right, Ivy? Works for you!"

"He's right," Xander shrugged.

"You say that as if I have not been fooled before," Dark pointed out.

"Why do you think we'd trick you like that?" Alec asked. "On Father's Day!"

"Because you are my sons and I know you," Dark said simply, "I love you very much and expect you to trick me, your mother does the same thing."

"If you can lift us so easily, then why is it a trick? It could just be us teasing you and your old age," Alec pointed out.

Xander shook his head. "Nah, there will be no tricking of the fathers on Father's day. That's just rude."
