Howdy! I'm RyinMartinEric, no, that is not my given name.
God, introduction, I haven't had to do one of these in a year, fun fun fun.
So, as a redditor, I spotted a link to this site on a subreddit I frequent, there is no punchline to this joke.
I am twenty six years old, have been roleplaying since I was sixteen, but I started writing novelettes way back when I was eleven, my first full story was about a submersible that was hit by an inter-dimensional creature that then slaughtered the crew one by one until the tropetastic brave survivor managed to kill it.
As is made obvious by the former statement, I often delve into scenarios too complex for my own feeble writing abilities, this was best exemplified with a large RP I GMed on another site that crashed and burned because I preferred to write it as my own personal fan-fiction when there were much better writers doing as they wanted.
I don't GM much anymore, I'm sure with a little practice I could do much better, but I'm not willing to try.
I'm pretty easy-going. I'm Canadian too so I apologize more than a Japanese man on speed. Scratch my back I scratch yours, all that stuff.
I have Asperger's syndrome, but that's hardly relevant, is it?
I like a lot of media, I like spectacle and flash, I like complex characters and serious topics balanced with humor. Though these things are all common in Anime, I'm not much a fan of the medium itself, mostly due to a pharaonic dislike of all the tropes common in it. I much prefer the medium of comic books, or graphic novels, as the more Sesquipedalian among authors like to call them.
I talk little when I don't know you, when I do, I talk to an egregious degree, especially when there are topics that I understand and you don't.
Worldbuilding is my religion.
All hail God-King J.R.R Tolkein, sovereign monarch of the dovish ascendancy of literature.
Alright, that's all I've got, don't worry, I don't actually talk like this, I had a thesaurus on my desk and didn't want to waste it.
Stare into my sig for too long, and eventually, Smith stares back.
