RECEPTION
The albino froze up when he felt her soft fingers using a napkin to clean his lips, he noticed the color of her lipstick in the previous pure white napkin and was now aware that she was cleaning the mark of lipstick from his lips but it didn't helped to hold at bay the dark shade of red that colored his face. He cleaned his throat and watched for a while as their families and the guests sat down to have lunch. He whispered softly at her now that the dark red on his face managed to tone down to a pink "I know. Sometimes and eventually we'll need to display affection in front of our family and even in front of friends. I guess... I'm just trying to tell you that I don't expect such actions when we're all alone. Like tonight." he gave her a small tensed up smile and looked down at his dish as he waited for lunch to be served, he hoped that this time she understood what he was trying to imply. He was concerned out of his mind about the nuptial night, he was concerned about their future, he knew that they will eventually be pressured to have children and all those pressures made him uncomfortable. How could he feel comfortable with the idea of sleeping with a woman he just met, a woman that probably spent all her childhood dreaming of a perfect wedding being forced to throw all those dreams away because of an agreement. He decided that the best to do for now was to solve one thing at a time, the wedding was over and they are now officially husband and wife or Mister and Mistress Gilbert Beilschmidt. He decided they will focus on figuring tonight when tonight arrives, for now he will enjoy the dish of duck the butler settled in front of him.
Gilbert felt like the reception passed through quickly, as a flash of light. Tons of people congratulating them, some even handing them envelopes with an amount of money as a wedding gift. Soon enough the guests parted and the newly wed were expected to leave for their honeymoon. A carriage was settled for them, with their luggages placed and ready, he had switched from the clothes he was wearing from the ceremony into something more appropriate. He settled the top hat on his head and was standing on the front door for Alexandria so they could leave to the train station. He was gently tapping his feet on the marble floor of the entrance way while he awaited for Alexandria to come meet with him after getting changed from her wedding dress.
