Greetings roleplayers!
I am a 29 year old individual who has been roleplaying for a bit more than 15 years. I'm married and currently expecting a child. Education wise I have a Master's Degree in Politology / Political Science. I work as a sales referent in a foundry and have my own company on the side.
My roleplaying journey started on RP forums much like this one but took a turn quite quickly when I discovered in-game RP on several computer games. I spent the most of my roleplaying time in World of Warcraft. It's still my favorite sort of RP but has two main flaws or let us say shortcomings which caused me to sway from it lately. Firstly, it is -VERY- time consuming. This was never a problem for me until recently out of RL reasons. These days I don't have 10hrs per day to throw into roleplaying, so I would much rather come on to a forum and write up a few paragraphs for a post. The second is consistency. I was always looking for more consistent and long-term roleplays, which forums are naturally far better at, at least in my experience.
Most roleplayers like to draw up a new character quite often. Not me. I am a one character sort of guy which in all cases roleplays a Minor Noble named Lorrace Farmantle (Human). Lorrace has been accompanying me for a bit less than 15 years and could've been seen in WoW, other games, RP forums, Discord RP and D&D sessions. As this post is about me and not Lorrace I'll leave this for now.
My main or favorite type of RP is most definitely Adventure RP set in medieval fantasy worlds. I'm also quite fond of camp/settlement/community building RP. I sometimes enjoy tavern-type RP but tend to avoid it.
Through the years of RP I've began to grow and groom a never-ending RP storyline in which Lorrace is pretty much the protagonist, but in a way that those who would meet him would never really know. I often tend to connect this storyline to those of everyone else, which allows us to exchange in leading the RP. That is another thing. I believe that RP should be DMed by one of the persons involved, this way the character can better interact with the environment as opposed to only each other. Since I prefer adventure RP interacting with the environment is pretty much a must.
What I am looking for on this forum is one or at a maximum two RP partners who would like to do some LONG-term Adventure RP and perhaps take turns in DMing it as well.
If anyone has any questions about me don't hesitate to ask.
