Through strange flyers around town or muttered word of mouth, you learn of a group exploration into an abandoned mansion.

Either there willingly, dared, or even dragged by a friend, you find yourself on the overgrown lawn of said mansion. The brisk October wind sends chills up your spine.

You spot a group on the stairs that seem to be the ones placing the flyers around town. You've never seen them before and one is holding a sketchy book.

... What could go wrong?

In a place known as Avalon, characters will explore a mysterious and spooky mansion. Needless to say, things will not be as straightforward as they seem. Avalon is a location where many beings from many worlds appear and settle in. Just about any character you can think of is available to play for this RP with the only requirement being that they came to live in Avalon at some point in their past.

This is a world-building, horror adventure RP. As such, some dark and disturbing subject matter will likely be involved in the plot. Due to this, it is preferred you play a character at least 16 years of age.

Players must play two characters! Characters can be your own original creations (OCs) or fandom characters. Fandom characters can be altered to be considered from an Alternate Universe (AU).

Characters must be humanoid, or human to better fit with the setting. (i.e. not transformers etc)

There will be both an OOC thread and a Discord (Please DM me or @Atomic Knight if you wish to join the Discord). No OOC talk in the IC, please <3

Images may be used as part of your post but please no IC posts with nothing but image spam. If you do use images, please only post a maximum of three images/GIFs per post in order to not flood the page with images that make it harder to load.

If you wish to leave the RP or take a break from it, please PM me about it.

Name: What is your character's name? Do they generally go by an alias/nickname?

Appearance: What does your character look like?

Age: Chronologically, how old is your character?

Canon: What does your character originate from? If your character is an OC, just say "OC". If your character is an OC specifically from an established canon, put the name of the canon and "OC" next to it. If they are an AU character, then be sure to note that as well.

Short Bio: What is your character's backstory leading up to how they came to this point? Pretty much just a Wiki link is acceptable.

Weapons/Abilities: (Small weapons are allowed, and powers won't work right in the building)

Name: Abel Ikanov, Abe to friends, Bunny to lovers

Appearance:
Long, platinum blonde hair, blue eyes, sharp features. Slender, athletic build and medium height. You wouldn't guess his gender at first sight, and his nails are painted black for the occasion.

Age: 19

Canon: OC

Short Bio: Used to be a troubled teenager son of rich parents that didn't get him before he started working, and dancing, in a bar. His family disowned him, and he looked out for himself pretty well. He now lives with a couple of roommates and has plenty of dates. His roommate Ishade asked him to come with him to this group exploration, and since he owes his friend enough favours as it is, he thought he would scratch one off the list by adventuring into some stupid, spooky building.

Weapons/Abilities: If you asked him he'd say being insanely hot must count as a superpower, but it probably doesn't. He does go out at night often enough that he knows to carry a small pocket knife.

Other Info: he doesn't believe in deities or the supernatural, and will step on other people to make sure he makes it through.

Appearance:
Black, wavy-ish hair, some of it covers his face and it barely reaches half of his neck, purple eyes, soft features. He's tall 1'92meters and has an average build, soft in some places. Wears black nail polish, tight fitted jeans and a blue hoodie. He has a tattoo of a blue check symbol under his left eye.

Age: 19

Canon: OC

Short Bio: He lives with his older brother Luka, and is currently studying graphic design at a local university. He keeps to himself most of the time, and doesn't know many people beyond a small group of friends. Even those come from meeting his current roommate Abel. He's very art oriented, and has had dealings with anxiety and depression since he can remember. However, he does his best to battle it every day. He's a fan of mystery and exploration, usually through videogames or other media consumption. This time he took his friend on a trip to Avalon to live the real deal. Much more enthusiastic about the whole thing than his friend is, but it's worth it.

Weapons/Abilities: carries a lighter, he smokes.

Other Info: He believes in the supernatural to a degree, and he used to have a younger sister that died in a car crash ages ago, Olivia.

Mood Matrix - Athena can sense people's emotions through small inflections and sounds in their speech. She describes it as "hearing the sounds of people's hearts," and she can also hear discord when people's emotions and testimony don't match. She has a small computer in her necklace that she can use to sort out the images and emotions she gathers from people's hearts.

Widget - An AI that runs the Mood Matrix and also has a tencency to blurt out whatever Athena is thinking.

Weapon: Carries a fishing spear/harpoon with her, though if it's too big that's fine.

Items: Has a fishing basket she wears on her back.

Abilities: Grace has an abnormally cold body temperature, and seems to generate moisture as she moves (which she does in such a way that it's as though she floats). With enough power available, said moisture can create a shallow portal into the abyss, where sea creatures may not be so kind to those who venture within their borders.

Other Info: Grace is mute, and will also have no knowledge of anything lore-related other than the Lakeside Village (she's arrived in Avalon on the behest of Hastur the lake god).​

Weapons/Abilities: Dickinson's abilities come from the Area 51 entity he stores in his sealed coffin, the creature going by the name of U.M.A., for the purpose of the rp however he will be unarmed.

Physically, Marc is in pretty good shape. He is of average height with pale skin, grey hair, and blue eyes. Unusually, he has a prosthetic leg since he lost in a car accident.

He grew up in a middle-class neighborhood. After his mother died when he was young, he was raised by his father
