Personality:
AJ is a very smart and clever asshole. He's really observant and plotter and thanks to this he can rapidly define his preys. Also this helps him to get out of troubles. Being a quick learner makes things easier for him. He learned most of the things he knows about stealing form his uncle, that has been his mentor for 6 years since his parents died. He's a cocky bastard, full of himself, likes to put himself on airs and also being the center of the attention. He's quite vain yes. He's down-to-earth and loves to enjoy the simple pleasures of life (i.e. Sleep, food and sex). AJ's an extrovert and a bit solitary guy. He does like company, but people easily get tired of him or simply start to hate him because of his self-centered personality. So he just loves to spend a lot of time alone in the junkyard where he lives. He can be cranky at times, especially when somebody asks him about his early life. He's childish and possessive. He's definitively not a nice guy to have around and he also loves to make people feeling uncomfortable. He makes faces or stares or plays with his lower lip piercing in a nasty way just to piss people off.
Backstory:
When both his parents died in a car accident, his uncle was the only closest relative and so AJ was given custody to him. Andrew Allis Jones was a thief, he started training his nephew as soon as he started living with him (he was three), then, when he was five, after two years of intense training, he decided the kid was ready to follow him and quickly he let the young kid commit his first thefts. Andrew died when AJ was still a child, he was nine at that time. He started living in the streets, because he didn't want to go to the orphanage. Initially he stole for living, most exclusively food. He got caught once and spent three months in prison. Then he improved the technique and started to rather enjoy it. He learned the power of money and how it can change people and he started stealing rare stuff and selling it to make more money. He didn't want to live in a house though. He had no identity and decided it was best for him to live in the shadows. So he found himself a place in a junkyard. The owner of the junkyard didn't bother having the guy sleeping there. He just asked for some money from time to time and AJ was full of money so it wasn't a problem for him. In his teenage years he discovered another pleasure of life and loved to go around looking for occasional sex.
