Simon - Dining Hall

Simon caught the Verdant's smile and returned it with one of his own "You get to choose your own rooms which is such a nice option" He frowned slightly "The rooms themselves are fairly boring but with enough time they can be nice." He lifted himself up with a thought then continued "If you want at lunch I can show you around the college. We've been talking for a while I think we'd do well to know each other more Alavin and Valdric" he said this keeping perfect eye contact with the Verdant.
 
Coro- Dining hall

Still keeping a hold of the waster lander baby coro follows simon awkwardly staying silent unsure how to start a conversation with any of the first years. 'Should i say something to them... but what I don't know them and don't want to offend them somehow..' As usual her alter ego aine said nothing nothing at all since she went to ashbore. Coro lets out a small depressed sigh.
 
Valdric Anders, Volker Pauelus - Dorms

The Master Volkter takes the students to their dorms, escorted by 4 Void Born. When they reached the building, he turns to them. "Now here is when you're going to sleep. Now choose who you will bunk with and go to bed.

Valdric watched as the mage walks off. "Man I really hope we don't get to see him much." He said. Once the students began looking for their bunks, Valdric goes over to Elise. "Uh so....mind if we bunk? I would love to learn more about you, you know, since we're going to be in the same class for the next year and all." He asked.

Birgitte - Dining Hall

Birgitte babbles and coos in Coro's arms, but soon she gave a big yawn as the final bits of daylight finally came to an end. The baby was soon sleeping like a log as she goes limp within the Beastman's arms.
 
Simon - Dining Hall

With a chuckle Simon spoke to the Borderman "Just be glad you didn't get Rilker"

He then turned to Coro "Looks like the little one's fallen asleep. Let's just drop him off at the Nurse's office" The death mage smiled at the three first years "We'll be going now and remember if you need anything just let me or Coro know ok" and with that he took off
 
Coro-Dorms

Coro begins to follow simon but stops and turns around to the first years giveng them a small wave. "Bye" And with that she turns back around following simon as always. once they were out of earshot from the first years coro finally started talking again. "So what do you think of all of them?"
 
Simon - Dorms

Simon shrugged "I dunno" his brow tensed in though "The elf seems like a social animal, He looks like somebody who'd do well spouting rhetoric at the head of a table full of socialites. I mean I can fake it for a while but he I don't know if I can keep up the whole charisma thing for long" the mage waited before he continued "The girl I don't know about I haven't seen her talk too much but it must be a bitch trying to do anything without hands" He laughed "She still hasn't told us her name. Then there's Valdric, Something about him..... I don't know I just get the feeling he might be more important than he seems right now" he then chuckled loudly "But did you see him stutter when he was talking to the girl? Even before we got there he seemed pretty weird" The two second years arrived at their dorm "All of them probably have some hidden depth. We can only really spend more time with them if we want to actually get to know them"
 
Coro- Dorms

Coro chuckles at simons remarks "Right then im going to avoid talking to the elf then.. and yea not haveing hands does sound like a pain but she seems to do well without any so far ya know? Anyways im going to go drop birgitte off now be back in a minute." And with that coro heads to the nurse office.
 
Simon - Dorms

"Good night Coronaria" Simon said before he made his way to the library. He rarely slept in the dorm room with Coro though his side of the room was littered with half finished projects, messy and opened bottles of various liquids, and slightly insane scrawlings of formulas and notes. He also kept a locked chest that he told Coro never to open though it did reek of rot. In the corner of his side laid his backpack which weighed heavily so he haphazardly left it there when he went to eat. The only orderly part of Simon's side was his bookcase which was filled with his prized collection of old books which looked like they would break at the slightest touch. Simon maintained his books religiously because even though he'd only started collecting the last year most were at least uncommon.

Simon finally reached the library where he usually read and learned until he fell asleep head down on one of the tables.
 
Borghild, Eponia, Birgitte - Infirmary

Inside the Infirmary, Borghild had already fallen alseep in a medial bed. The task of taking care a child as well as working for the Master Life Mage had drawned her of all her energy rather quickly. Eponia brings the Wastelander a blanket and mutters to himself while he wonders where the small one could have gone.
"La vie d'une mère et la curiosité d'un enfant devraient être deux choses qui ne devraient jamais être mélangées." He whispers to himself.
 
Coro- Infirmary

Coro reaches the infirmary without wakeing Birgitte up. Coro speaks in a quite voice. " Hi i found this little one outside the dueling hall doors I swear i did not kidnap her... or is it babynap...? Anyways here to return the lost birgitte"
 
Eponia - Infirmary

"....You know I wouldn't have considered that until you stated. But you have my thanks." He replied as he takes the baby from Coro's hand. "Where did you find her if I may ask?"
 
Coro- Infirmary

"oh............... good to know... and uh she was outside the dueling hall tring to get in." Coro shuffles around a little embarrassed.
 
Eponia - Infirmary

The mage wasn't really listening to the beastman as he going over and placing the baby into the bed with her mother and covering the two with a blanket. "So is there anything you need? How's the fairy dragon treating you?" He asks.
 
Coro- Infirmary

"No i dont need anything and hagen has treated me just fine. I should get going now.. Goodnight" Coro leaves the infirmary heading back to the dorms.
 
The next Morning

2nd Year Class - Heinrich Kurst

With the first night of the school year done and over, and breakfast now coming to an end, the students are now heading to their classes as the Teachers began preparing for the first set of lessons for the class. The 2nd year's Student is a man wearing thick purple robes. A bandana covered the man's eyes signifying that he was blind, but Heinrich's skills weren't dulled, despite his wrinkled fingers, attached to his shaky hands. He can hear, smell and feel the presence of the students as the first few entered his class.
 
coro- Second year classroom

Coro enters the classroom and sits down near the back of the class and silently waits for it to start while petting hagen.
 
2nd Year Class - Heinrich Kurst

As the students took their seats, the teacher held out his ears in order to hear the door close. When it did, he then began to talk. "Students, as you may know I am Master Kurst, Master Shadow Mage of the College. Yes I know that I am blind, yes I know that I am getting on in years, but no this will not mean I shall be lenient or lax in any way. I recommend that you listen and listen well as I shall not repeat myself." The old man said. The blind mage felt around the desk until he touched a book made of metal, with gold for the cover instead of leather and bronze instead of paper. The mage opens the book and ran his fingers across the pages, feeling and reading the words that have been literally etched into the book with painstaking accuracy. After a few seconds of feeling, the mage turns his attention back to the class.

"Ah yes. Now students, we shall begin our lesson in restricted magic. Can anyone tell me examples of restricted magic?"
 
Simon eagerly raised his hand "Wait no" he stopped himself a moment "I'm raising my hand and I really hope you can sense that" the mage stood up then continued "The most well know type of restricted magic is magic which relates to the movement, transfer or modification of the soul" he gave himself a moment to think "I believe that the creation of new life and magics that mentally affect sentient creatures are also restricted but I'm not a hundred percent sure" Simon looked worried for a moment "There are also rumours, just rumour of course about blood mages who take possession of the bodies of other people but again nothing I can be completely sure about"
 
"I'm blind not magically inept." Snapped the old man. "In any case yes that is correct. Magic that directly affects a person's very spirit is deemed banned in the Empire. However that isn't the only magic that is banned within the Empire. The schools of Belching used by the Nugs, School of the Blue Sun and Red Moon used by the Verdantkin are also banned and perhaps the most infamous of all is the School of Undeath." He replied. "Can anyone tell me who is the more famous user of such a school?"
 
Simon gave a cocky grin crossed his arms together and waited for somebody else to answer such an easy question.
