"Archons are like gods," Aether said to Sougo, "There's seven of them, and each represent a single element. Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo. The Tsaritsa is the archon of Cryo,"

"What weird names for elements," Sae-byeok said, "Didn't you call this Tsaritsa the archon of ice? What the hell is a Cryo?"

"Cryo IS ice, dummy!" Paimon huffed. Aether ran over to try and calm her down.

Bennett let out a groan, "I'm tired… can't we just go to the cathedral?"

Now that you pay attention, the sun is starting to set.

"Not like we have much of a choice…" Aether said, before leading you off to the cathedral.

It was a long walk. You had to climb a massive set of stairs up a massive wall, but when you reached the top you saw it.

The cathedral was grand, the spires extending into the sky while a giant marble statue of an angelic figure looms over you.

"Wh-what!? This place is huge!" Azul said.

Aether turned to the group before the entrance.

"Here's the deal. People won't suspect you're from another world, rather they'll probably think you're just from another region,"

"So, what, do we just pretend we're native? Also how the hell are they not gonna tell when you have the robot and the pony?" Sae-byeok, rather crudely interrupted.

"This world's a lot more magical than you realize," Aether said, "But for now, keep quiet, not just about the other worlds but also about the Tsaritsa, we don't want the average townsfolk to get all freaked out on us,"

Soon enough, he opened the doors into the cathedral and it looked like, well, a cathedral.

There was a lack of people, Aether looked surprised at first, but one girl stood in the center of the cathedral's stage. Bennett's face lit up as he bolted over.

"Barbara!"

The girl, Barbara, turned around and met Bennett with her own smile.

"Benny! It's nice to see you!" she said, bracing herself as the boy nearly slammed into her, "You seem to be in high spirits!"

It was just then that she noticed you all.

"Heheh… who are these people? My fan club?"

"Fellow travelers," Aether said, "They don't have a place to stay. They're also broke, and I'm… admittedly broke too…"

"Oh… so you took them here…" Barbara said, a twinge of nervousness in her voice, "Well there are beds available… I think barely enough for everyone here… hold on let me check,"

Barbara left to inspect the beds, leaving you all alone in the cathedral's main area of worship.

Around sunset, the group arrives at a cathedral, which was certainly large. Peter made a mental note of the architecture and would guess that a certain Devil of Hell's Kitchen would be interested if he were here. Though, it seems it was him and this assortment of strangers. On the topic of Daredevil, it occurs to Spidey that out of all of the masked vigilantes; it's him who gets sucked into such world-saving, dimensional chaotic events. Rarely Moon Knight, to his knowledge, and he was on the Avengers' reserves before one of their numerous disbanding of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Though, his thoughts were interrupted by a conversation that caught his interest.

"So, what, do we just pretend we're native? Also how the hell are they not gonna tell when you have the robot and the pony?" Sae-byeok, rather crudely interrupted.

The masked man shrugs his shoulders, "A talking pony you can easily explain via a magic spell or the work of the Gods." He turns to Sandbar, as he was used to such occurrences since Spider-Ham. "A robot, yeesh! I don't think these guys are at the point of having tech," the seasoned hero blinks behind the lenses of his mask. "um, no offense to present company, really."

"Elder Witch of Hexa-whatchamacallit, huh?" Ashe pondered, butchering the pronunciation of Alice's title.

"Hexenzirkel..." Sougo corrected Ashe, glancing at Paimon. "It's a good thing she's on our side." He sighed in relief as Aether explained what the Archons are--Godly beings, monitoring the elements; seven of them. Ameno, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro and Cryo. The one they've been sent to defeat is the Cryo god.

Now, Sougo isn't well versed on other languages, but he can tell that Cryo means ice. Pyro is Fire, Hydro Water, Electro is Lightning, and Geo is Earth or rock.

But what the well is an Ameno and a Dendro?

Still, the group was soon taken to a large cathedral further up the town, climbing a massive set of stairs to reach the courtyard of a grand cathedral. Benches littered around the area--and of the giant statue in the middle of it all. A statue of a winged, hooded figure, hands raised forward, as if gently showing something.

Taking into account the place they were in before, Windrise, and how near it was to this city, I think it's safe to assume this guy's the Mondstadt Archon.

Aether explained that people in this world won't suspect that they're from another world. Instead, they'd think they're a foreigner passing by. Sougo liked that idea--he's like Tsukasa now; a Kamen Rider passing by.

Entering the cathedral, they were greeted by a blonde girl in a white dress, sleeves, and a headress. Her whites appear to be accompanied by dark blues, carrying some sort of tome slung around her shoulder down to the waist--as Bennett would exclaim, her name is Barbara.

"Cute..." Sougo couldn't help but be in awe of Barbara, seeing as she's dressed similarly to those idols he sees every so often. This suspicion was otherwise confirmed with the mention of a fanclub. "Wait, I thought this was supposed to be a church?" Sougo asked, confused as to how a nun would be able to have a fanclub. His face showing a hint of disgust--so historically inaccurate.

"Don't question it." Ashe scratches her head as Barbara left, The masked Spider soon talking to a horse dude about having to explain what a robot is--case in point, Ashe being mostly cybernetic thanks to Legion's mandatory shtick, the legendary reploid himself, X, and a whole slew of people her. "Eh, we've already walked around town. Surely someone would've probably called the local authorities on us if we looked weird enough." Ashe shrugs, walking over to one of the church benches and sitting on it, taking out her Buster to do some polishing while they wait.

Reploids didn’t need ‘sleep’ as humans did. They tire eventually, but their metal bodies stood the test of time far better than their creators.

It was something even he felt was irrational and illogical, and Zero would probably laugh. But X was in fact full of energy. It wasn’t the literal sort of energy that ran through his arm cannon, but it was a sort of energy he hadn’t felt in weeks.

It had rushed through his heart when the townspeople welcomed them. When X looked around and saw a beautiful ‘City of Freedom’ in one piece. When it turns out they were being protected by a benevolent ‘archon.’

(…Those were the gods, right? X was taking his time, taking in the information.)

It wasn’t that he was resentful of the human victims in the Maverick wars. But X had a penchant of noticing things that others swore weren’t there. Maybe he was overthinking, perhaps even malfunctioning from his age;

Sometimes, X felt they was resented as they trudged past the broken remains of houses, and humans.

“Yeah, it doesn’t matter. It shouldn’t matter if some of us stand out. They welcomed us quite warmly anyways, didn’t they?" He himself never questioned when an unconventional or rare reploid walked down the road. "I don’t think they’re any stranger to strange beings, if what we had just decommissioned was any hint.”

In this instant? As he curiously inspected and explored around the halls of a cathedral? X felt like an awestruck tourist then he did a Maverick hunter. A lonely reploid tourist.

“I’m...uh, I'm afraid I never got your name.” X directed his gaze to Ashe as he addressed her. “Around the time you tranformed to fight…I heard something, it was my friend’s voice. Please, could you tell me about that device?.....If you're willing to, that is."

Although, X couldn’t forget the world he fought for with all his heart.

"Pretty freaky ain't it? Those Hilichurl things. Makes you wonder if the Trinity actually missed other freaky genetic experiments...Brr." Ashe turned to X as he mentioned the creatures they'd just put down. Soon enough, X asked about her name as well as Model A's Megamerge sequence. "The name's Ashe. And the voice you heard must've been my Biometal, Model A." She said, though as if on cue, the small rock-like toy floated out of Ashe's belt, floating around X before moving back to Ashe.

'Hey Ashe, is it just me, or does this guy feel a lot like Model X? I mean he's blue, he talks almost the same way--I think I saw an arm cannon back when we were fighting earlier.'

"Dude. That IS the real X. Why else can he hear you?" Ashe says to her Biometal, focusing on X. "I can't go to the nitty gritty of it, but apparently, Biometals are like, crystalized Reploid Soul Rocks...Not sure how that works, either." She explained briefly, grabbing Model A. "Takeaway is, these guys have Reploid Souls and use Legendary Reploid Data from eons ago to combine with compatible Bio-Links to form a power that protects mankind--According to Vent, that is. Which is partially true."

'That transformation you saw is called a Megamerge. It uses the data stored inside me and creates a physical armor based on the Reploid that the Biometal's based off of.' Model A explains, seeing that X had heard him earlier. 'I'm not sure who you think I am, but I think it's pretty sick that the real X knows me somehow!' Model A chuckles a bit before it began to float about, as if admiring the cathedral of days old that isn't populated by a bad guy--case in point, Ouroboros.

When Aether mentioned that this world had their own gods, Kiun perked up.

"What elements do Anemo and Dendro represent?" He asked curiously. Those terms he didn't understand, but the others were elements he could guess. One element in particular he knew well even with a slightly altered name, Electro. He wondered what the god of Electro was like.

"I don't think he meant literally eating a horse." Atsushi commented. At least, he hoped Sandbar wasn't being literal with the saying.

Oversleeping was a very common thing that Shawn Spencer did. So, he had been one of the last ones, apparently with a kid in what he could only describe as the world's weirdest Spider-man outfit. It didn't look like any of the movies that were out for him, though he didn't know where here exactly were. "Well, this is not the strangest place I have been.... but we probably should figure out where we are."

Shawn couldn't agree more as he got up and eventually wound up following a path that led them to a group that he and the other kid had followed. He got this was some of other dimension, but he didn't say a word. "Well, I can't ever say I ever slept in a church."

Peter would look over at the other man in a Spider-man costume. " Are you another Spider-man?"

Grimaces underneath his mask when Ashe speaks up, rubbing the back of his neck. Then, his Spider-Sense had begun to tingle; which made him turn towards a new but familiar presence. His Sense had tingled when the group battled against the brutes earlier, which made him oblivious to the fact that another Spider was among them.

Peter would look over at the other man in a Spider-man costume. " Are you another Spider-man?"

Blinks as he gazes at the younger Spider-Man behind the mask, which had confirmed the reason for his Spider-Sense tingling. "Yeah," he nods his head as he proceeds to remove his mask; deciding that keeping it on may complicate things.

"I am," Peter B. Parker says as he revealed his face, a man around thirty-seven years old, sporting a five-o-clock shadow and some grey can be seen in his brunette hair. "Obviously, you're another Spider-Man as well."

Peter had also been wearing his mask and had noticed that his Spider-sense had been going off like crazy. He hadn't expected the other man to unmask himself to show he was a Peter Parker- or that he was so old. Like almost as old as Mr.Stark was.

"Note to self, invest in hair dye and a good quality razor when I get older," he mumbled seeing the really old guy. " Well, I guess if we're unmasking...." Peter slide off his mask. He had to be at least two decades younger than this Spider-man.

The older Peter's brows raised as the younger Spider-Man unmasks himself to see a younger version of himself, despite the clear difference in costume. He takes a quick moment to exhale, reminding himself that he had seen a news report of another version of him (the blonde one) dying. His hazel eyes focused on his younger counterpart, scratching at his greying brunette locks.

"Oh, man," the seasoned Spider-Man shakes his head, "this is going to get confusing fast."

The younger Peter noticed the way the older Peter eyebrows raised when he saw what he looked like under the mask. It was weird to think that this was the second version of himself that he met, but this one felt like it could be an older version of himself. He wondered if like his other self, the other one also complained about back problems. He still didn't quite understand how that happened.

"No, it's not. You just look like an older version of me, second one I met actually. Can I ask you a weird question. How old are we when the beard starts to come in?" He asked.

He waves his hand, "I mean that we're both Peter Parker and we're gonna be hearing our names if we decide to share with the others." The seasoned vigilante gestures to the rest of the group, then he blinks at the young Peter's question about the beard. The greying brunette massages his chin since there is a two-decade difference between the pair. Plus, seeing the blonde Peter of Miles' Universe's obituary and him considering the possibility of having kids with Mary Jane had made him grow concerned for younger heroes; especially a younger version of himself.

"As for my face, it's a five-o-clock shadow," Peter B. clarifies to the younger Spider-Man, "though, I...well, stopped shaving regularly when me and MJ...divorced." The older Spider's brows crease slightly, as it was a reminder that he had let himself go...along with the noticeable gut due to the emotional eating.

I would say that you were Peter 2, but that role goes to my older brother/ other version of me who I met on another adventure that was kind of like this one, but different. I can't say that I've been on something like that. Or we can say we are Father and son, you can be Peter Sr. and I can be Peter Junior, there are so many easy solutions to this problem."

Peter would just sigh. "That's not what I meant by my question. Wait, I married MJ and then we got divorced? How did you fuck that up so badly? Wait- no- I don't want to know. I meant more, like how old were you when you were first able to grow facial hair. Like was this a recent thing for you or like a decade ago?"

He gestures with his hands, as the grey in his hair will be able to sell it a bit.

Peter would just sigh. "That's not what I meant by my question. Wait, I married MJ and then we got divorced? How did you fuck that up so badly? Wait- no- I don't want to know. "I'm trying my best," Garak whispered back. "But I believe there's more layers here then in one of your holo-adventures."

Bashir just nodded to himself as he listened in to the others giving a quick glance to Robotman in particular. He had felt kind of bad leaving him hanging but at the same time...he wasn't a pleasant fellow. Or perhaps he only was a diamond in the rough. Either way Bashir had not stared at him for awkwardly long and just coughed before giving the rest of the area they were in a look seeming pretty impressed by it all.

"Fuckin' hell. Well, I guess I should count my blessings if this place is supposed to be even weirder than the real world, speaking of me blending in. Really does look like some Lord of the Rings or Narnia type of shit here though. Do you guys even know what a computer is? Maybe this is the timeline where we all just stayed anprim or some shit," Cliff only quipped to himself as he took in the cathedral where they'd all be staying for the night, it seemed.

If there was one perk of being in a robotic body, it was that he wasn't really tired in the same way the others might have been from the long walk and the fight before, though he was still mentally tired, so he wasn't going to say no to the prospect of some shut-eye.

While he waited for the girl named Barbara to come back in the meantime, Cliff turned toward Bashir and Garak, not noticing the former's discomforting stare as he stepped toward them.

"Anyway, you guys said holo-adventure? Like, real VR shit? 'Cause the kind we have kinda sucks dick right now, know what I mean?" He bantered with them casually. "Anyway, uh, what else is goin' on in the future? Or would telling me like destroy the universe or something? I never believed in that shit to be honest. Especially not after Rita and Madame Rouge..." He began, before deciding to stop right there, realizing what an arduous story that would be to recount.

"Well, whatever, just give it to me straight just this one thing... do the Irish ever properly unify? Y'know, give those tea-sucking shitheads what they deserve?"

Bashir nodded in a friendly manner at Cliff as he spoke, but his way of talking was a bit too rough and tumble to the doctors liking. "I mean, yes, well, I suppose there's nothing wrong to share a few tidbits. In theory Earth at least lives on in quite a, I dare not say utopia because I don't believe that is something no one can fully achieve, but I will say it's...good? Good's good, I think."

Cliff would notice Garak rolling his eyes behind Bashir.

"And as far as Ireland unifying." Bashir taps his nose knowingly. "Mum's the word."

Peter Parker wondered if it was some sort of rite of passage for Spider-men to meet other versions of themselves and he knew that it was indeed a small multiverse at the end of the day as he looked over at him. "Well, that's good to hear, Dad." It had been a long time since he had even thought of any man as his father and the closest, he had gotten was Tony and he didn't know if he would ever remember him.

It wasn't a sigh on being married as much as a surprise when it came down to things. "Sorry, I forgot that you have told me before that you were trying to work things out with Mom. You can't blame a kid for being curious." He took a moment to listen to the facial hair answer. "Oh, that's soon for me, about three or so months. Cool."

The seasoned superhero had always wondered if the universe, no, the multiverse loved to play some sort of sick practical joke on him. From being pulled to a patchwork planet, to the tests of Madame Webb to his previous cross-dimensional adventure. Though, it did confirm to a train of thought his younger counterpart has, it was indeed a small multiverse.

"Well, that's good to hear, Dad."

Hearing those words made him rather uneasy, since it was one of the main reasons he and Mary Jane divorced. When the subject of children were brought up, he had just buried his aunt.
