The Evrensel Conflict The Evrensel Conflict -- Chapter 1: The Only Easy Day was Yesterday

With her block of rock still afloat Xiao watched the exchange in amazement. That girl just transformed and claimed herself as a goddess. *Well im not submitting to a fake* Xiao thought to herself as the block of stone fell to the ground with a crash. When Iris hearts gaze fell upon Xiao all she cpuld see was a blur of movement and hear a short rumble. *Man that look is scary!* Where Xiao once was, now was a thick stone sphere with her in the middle of it.

Everyone hesitated. Finally, Irantu reached out and grabbed the metal sheet. ""We follow it. Nanku, take point, Ornu, watch out backs. Move forward."

The four began to move rapid across the sewers, following the map. Nanku made the occasional mistake, running into a solid wall or a blocked-off section, but they managed to get to - or, at least, close to - the bunker door without further incidents.

Nanku turned another corner. "There!" She cried, pointing ahead at the large, imposing doors.

Tau-5 ran.

"I'm surprised too." replied Neptune, patting Iffy on the head a bit. "But it's hard not to, I guess, when at least one of her grew up with us around as maternal figures. Though is that this Iffy or my Iffy? Doesn't matter though. Iffy is Iffy." replied Nep with a small smile. She then turned around to Vert. "Well then, looks like we got our work cut out for us. We need to get her to safety, like to a bunker or so

---

Warm, hot, softness suddenly embraced the Nep as the rooftop was just, gone. As if Nep had never been there in the first place and, instead, relocated to somewhere else. Somewhere else that happened to also be located between a nice, soft, bosom causing Nep to suddenly crash forwards right into owner of said bosom.

"What the? Not again! It's not funny anymore!" she cried out as she pushed herself away, finding the cruel, powerful, and dominating presence of one goddess and another in heavy armor. Neptune's gaze quickly darted back and forth between them. She was not in a bunker underground surrounded by new people that she had never seen before and one new person she HAD seen before.

"I-I-Iris? OhmygoshI'msosorry!" she said quickly backing away and right into Bellona, trying to get some distance. "Nice to see you here as well. Ummm... Can I please talk to Plutie?"

Their alien problem was away for the time being...

... was it?

While the group reunited and chitchatted over trivial and major alike, a fur-covered beast, lacking eyes, prowled the area, unbeknownst to some. It followed as they walked along the sewers.

FSvcd91.jpg

"Grrrowwwl..."

The beast's 'gills', presumably its physiological equivalent of a nose, whiffed about the gross-smelling sewers. It didn't seem disgusted, so there was a chance that this creature was native to these parts.

Its appearance was most alien indeed.

It was unclear if it was here to help or here to harm. Some may have been a bit too busy to notice the animal, but it stood out too much for at least one person to not notice it.

As Norman picked up its top handle to carry the bot down to the floor it packed its legs into a small crate of tight organization. Other than a technicolor fracture on one side the blue box was quite compact. It looked around as the flames went off turning its exterior to the image of a cardboard grocery box of ramen. Other than the smashed technicolor dent in one side in any case. It spun around when the Vault started to open and the tightly packed 'cardboard box' quietly wheeened closer to the opening then spun around.

Carried aloft in the void a firm grip of the good hand onto the metal plate kept Negative Twelfth engaged with it updating the map as they went. It didn't know why the creatures would be back but the yellow robed part of it could feel some part of the hive had an angry eye on its personage now. No holding a raft of the creatures back this time. When the vault came into view Negative Twelfth stood back up onto the floor. The small blue robot with a faceplate embossed Mundi noticed Negative Twelfth first. A great deal of its right arm was cracked and leaking and its left more like it had been set afire and might still smoulder.

Negative twelfth used the damaged hand to pat out a few swirls of mist emerging from much abused labcoat as the robot flashed its normal blue and unpacked, "Master! What happened? You can get damaged? We should get inside!"

The damaged right arm just dangled as the foundation leaf waved it off replying to Mundi, Xiao, and those with a harness to hear it though it censored in part,
"With strange aeons even death may die, pet. I brought allies. Provide ████ with interfaces."

Two seared fingers snapped with a puff of false dust calling forth a sucking noise from the top of the cliff where the other card lay. Inhaled into its slipstream annex and returned to Mundi. It walked closer to the vault then sat down on the floor having no wish to repeat that experience anytime soon. This feeling of discordant seared off neural connections was as close as it got to pain. The manifold supporting this focus of its leaf's existence had poor interactions with physical matter. Merely that its anomalous nature permitted forcing the matter at personal cost much unlike the partial impression of the imprinted leaf.

Mundi removed one of the cards from its front waving them as it looked around for the specified four individuals, "Hello [REDACTED]! We must enter, the black acid hostiles will return! Master wishes you to be provided with slipstream interfaces!"

@Agent Puncake

"A warm fluffy thing born from human lust in deific creature or a demon. Only now to figure out which side is which,"
Commented the hollow-faced foundation leaf of Plutia as it focused on returning coherence to the leaf's shattered interface appendage.

It continued to the group even though such creatures might be able to hear the nonbeing without a harness,
"Though the warlike one monopolizes competence I feel. Armor needs when fighting the against the dying of the light."

"Your Iffy? Hmm..." Vert pondered to herself for a moment. "I guess that you aren't my Neptune, are you? You look... a bit older? And a bit more chirpy than usual." She responded, when she was then immediately teleported into another location, just like Neptune did. And what she was dropped into was quite the place full of random people. Seems like there were way more people than she had met, and she seemed to have also been dropped into quite the situation that was brewing.

Warm, hot, softness suddenly embraced the Nep as the rooftop was just, gone. As if Nep had never been there in the first place and, instead, relocated to somewhere else. "Hmhm~ It's certainly good to see my little Neppy once again~ And it's also good to realise that despite us working together to deal with that bitch, Rei Ryghts, you still have that little ounce of fear of what I can do to you~" Iris chuckled, as she stared Neptune down before returning her gaze towards Bellona.

Bellona actually flat out laughed. This chick thought bigger boobs and a whip meant that she was a goddess? For shame. If this was what the standards of being a Goddess had fallen to Bellona shuddered to think who else could attain what previoulsy only she could.

"Really? The whole dominating slut angle? Bitch, please. Aphrodite's a bigger dom than you and she's been around ALL the pantheons. That being said, try all you like, nobody dominates ME."

"Like a bitch in heat. Always eager to prove that she's the tough girl~ Whereas I have nothing to prove to such scum like yourself when I already know my potency~ Just ask Neppy over there~ And surely Vert as well knows the impact I have on people." "Firstly, how do you know my name? Secondly, I don't exactly know who you are but the vibe you give off is not normal of a Goddess." "And you constantly bragging about how your breasts are bigger than everyone else's makes you better? Surely you jest." "..." Vert responded blankly from that insult, whereas IF was still passed out despite being teleported into a new area. "Neppy~ You do realise that I can't just downgrade for no reason either, right?~ I transformed to demonstrate that I am indeed a Goddess to these two, and until I get some satisfaction from something here, It will just play to time~"

"Psst. Guardian. Do you notice that?" "Notice what? Aside from this lady here?" "No, look." Vortex-25 turned to where the Ghost was hinting at and saw something quite odd...

Their alien problem was away for the time being...

... was it?

"Hmm... That Alien looks different from the ones we were running away from." "And are those... gills on the side of it's neck?" "And where are it's eyes?" "And are you noticing that weird collar around it's neck too?" "Yeah... What exactly is that thing? And why is it strangely not trying to attack us?" They pondered the source of this creature. A weird green collar, no eyes, and weird looking "Gills" on it's side neck? Just what was this thing? And why is it with those weird Alien things that were attacking the party?

@Crow

"Slipspace interfaces?" Munru asked the little robot, examining it with a hint of curiosity. "Never heard of it before. Irantu?"

Samsara's de facto leader shook his head. "I don't know what that is. Move into the vault." He waved to Tau-5, who nodded and followed Nanku in. "Do you have Foundation clearance?" He asked the little blue box.

@lil_kreen

Negative twelfth got up and wandered inside being uninterested in looking at the flesh of the female form. Not to mention that one purple haired one in particular which was likely a cognitohazard land mine. The commandos would suit its purposes quite well. It chatted internally to Mundi to repeat its comments by proxy to Samsara as the hollow-bodied intelligence kept up.

Mundi's wheel legs fully emerge as it follows them into the vault chip in hand while chattering along, "Master says the chip model is an adaptive SENT variant OH for cybernetically augmented personnel: Secure Extradimensional Neural Transceiver - Outsider Hardened. The UNSC designed it in the late 2250s from older model ansibles on FTL UNSC cruisers! So small! Master also says you asked another question I don't remember and the answer was No! Though I get things removed from my head a lot, sorry! Master has full authority over my mind but doesn't acknowledge UNSC authority like Mistress does. It's okay. Master says it is preferred to use a secure line with the chip that can be routed through a cognitohazard IDS."

Mundi tilted to look at the empty space where negative twelfth was moving then back again, "Oh, you're not from here? Nobody is! I'm not from this world either and Master is not from mine but my reality anchor knows Mistress when they are Master instead! So exciting! I will spend far less time carrying around prophylactics for Mistress!"

Negative twelfth just facepalms to lament audibly not caring if the others that could hear him listened, "Why did they have to imprint that touchable leaf of mine with an oversexed prostitute... spartan philistines..."

@Agent Puncake

"Not a chance." Onru snapped. "I will not touch an unknown technology, much less one that plugs into me."

If the Samsara personnel had any experience with inappropriate innuendo jokes, Munru and Nanku would've laughed. Sadly, no one reacted.

"If you know about cognitohazards..." Irantu asked cautiously. "Who are the UNSC?"

@lil_kreen

Mundi looked at empty space again then back putting the card away, "Master says your another option is the metal object ID number 963-2 but is not on this plane. Master's awareness of other numbers is minimal but must pass important information to certain observers in relation to concerns for himself relevant to the 'Idiot 963'. Master says it may be possible if connected to a leaf native that Idiot 963 can be contacted directly due to their current state."

It looks around for the stormtrooper after noticing the pattern, "...does 1066 Norman have a sibling that is not useful?"

Mundi made a fuzzy projection of the UNSC flag using its neurofabricator, "Well, I am Mundi! I am useful property of United Nations Space Command under the Office of Naval Intelligence! We protect against undisclosed threats to humanity. Like the gravemind! There are no ONI files in my limited database that are labeled 'cognitohazard'. Master has not clarified. What is it?"

@Agent Puncake

Bellona scoffed. She didn't need to prove anything.

"I'm sorry, Can you repeat that? All I see is two tits and a sword. Oh, And don't forget an ego bigger than Kephri!"

Bellona turned to the other girls, raising a very confused eyebrow. If this was what they considered a Goddess, they seriously had some low standards. She would not let this mockery continue to call herself a Goddess when it was clear she was anything but. A slut with a whip and a god complex, most likely. Either way, a very painful lesson seemed to be in order.

"You guys seriously think this bimbo counts as a Goddess? Don't make me laugh. Seriously. The joke was funny for a few seconds but now it's just sad."

@Raynar Saassin

"There is no such thing." Irantu spoke. "The UNSC does not exist... for us. Munru, record that - we have entered an alternate universe, or possibly an alternate continuity. There is also the possibility that this AI's 'master' originated from the Foundation, or an organization similar to the Foundation."

Munru nodded. "Got all of it."

Nanku crouched down before the little box-like robot. "963-2? He knows... he knows that. I've only heard rumours, and they're... pretty delirious?"

"Hilarious." Onru corrected.

"Hilarious. Yes, sorry." Nanku nodded. "Does your... master know about us? Can you let it... him... speak to us?"

@lil_kreen

"I think I know what's going on with your response to our appearances." Vert exclaimed as she walked over to Bellona and gave her a patient smile as she was about to speak once more. Vert seemed to be more friendly than Iris. "I believe I know what you're experiencing. Your Universe must have numerous Gods and Goddesses, each with their unique stance, strengths, weaknesses and views on each other, am I correct? Whereas ourselves were hand-picked to become Goddesses, at least from my world." "To add to your explanation, my dear Vert. I hail from a different dimension from the other Goddesses in the same Universe known as the Ultra Dimension. The Goddesses there including myself were not hand-picked, more they were trial'd by a specific item known as a CPU Memory. If a person were to use said item, they would be judged. If they transformed into what you see before you, they were worthy to become a CPU known better as a Console Patron Unit. If you were not worthy, you would turn into a hideous monster." "However our term "Goddess" is more of a title than anything else, as we develop and maintain a nation each which hands out Video Games and Video Game Consoles to the people, hence our roles as CPU's - Console Patron Units. Our strengths, and power comes from the faith of the citizens that reside on our nations, and anyone else who decide to put their faith in us."

@Hahli Nuva

Bellona took a minute to absorb all of this information in. That sounded unbelivable, but yet here they were, standing before her. Bellona supposed she should help explain where she came from, and back up her title herself. This Vert character seemed to try and quell the growing tension, and Bellona was mature enough to know when to back down and let cooler heads prevail.

"..In my world, Gods are not chosen. They were created before any other life began. They are born with mighty abilities and can shape and twist the universe as they see fit. Some Gods are used by mortals to represent an aspect of their life or culture, while others like me represent things like power and war. Our power is limitless and we cannot die, however like you, we gain even more power from our worshippers. In my world, there is an arena, called Smite by the humans, where we settle our disputes and differences and test our stregnth. Gods and Goddesses from every facet of the universe gather there and only the most worthy of mortals are allowed to witness the raw power we possess."

Bellona walked up to Iris Heart and extended her hand, smirking. "I wouldn't mind a sparring session with you, you know. Girls aren't my type, but it would be interesting to test each other's power."

@Raynar Saassin

"Hmhm~ A spar would indeed provide what I seek---" "Can you perhaps not do this right now?" Vortex-25 interrupted Iris and approached the pair, looking more towards Iris then Bellona. "As much as I'd love to watch a fight between a Goddess and this "CPU", we kind of have more important things to do right now. Like figuring out what this world is, who those people are that are bombing the surface, and how we are going to get out of this mess." "I suppose you're right~ At some point however, I'd love to see what your face looks like after I finish with you~ But for now..." She then engulfed herself in a bright light once again and downgraded back to Plutia.

iRsVmZJ.png

"Okay~ But when the time arises for me to transform again, I'll do it~" "So that's what you look like. So cute~" Vert exclaimed as she picked Plutia up and gave her a hug. "Hehehe~ You're as soft as ever, Vert~" "I still want to know how you know my name..." "Oh~ When I was transformed... I spoke about my... dimension? right?" "Yeah." "Well~ There's different versions of you~ Although there is only one Neppy~" "Okay. Promise me however that you'll only transform when it's absolutely. Necessary. Okay?" "Okay..." She exclaimed, pouting a little before retaining her usual expression.

@Hahli Nuva

Bellona chuckled and shook her head. This was a whole new thing for her. Loki, Hercules, Bacchus and Khumbakarhna would go bonkers to see girls like this.

"Well now that THAT's settled, where the hell are we? I just kinda popped in here after my last arena match..."

@Raynar Saassin

It rotates more toward the spot where Negative Twelfth stares on, silently chatting, then looks back to Nanku, "Moving physical matter outside the inner loop causes damage? Is that why Master is cracked? Oh... using the plate is dangerous, Master!"

Mundi made a shrug with its hands as it kept pointing its cameras at the empty space in the hall where -1/12 is standing, "Master says he is a non-coporeal intelligence regulated by organics and doesn't know how to make noises with meat he does not have. He uses the inner loop to know how to make the right meat noises. The 963-2 is nonaddressable and Master thinks you maybe made an idiot-class psychometric party line with Master as operator asleep but might be able to fix it if able to think."

It waves the small card again adding its own comments, "The SENT is addressable and does not feedback but is very fragile! Master must think with human heads to access the home leaf and to regulate Master's own mind. It is for Master's long term safety! Master has to cull my Riemannian matrix or I enter rampancy. The inner loop here helps the same way for Master!"

It continues trying with futility to scan negative twelfth's damaged arm and just gets wall, "Master says he knows the BZHR you plugged in are infiltrated somehow. It iches. The outer loop is compromised and outer loops are all or nothing."

@Agent Puncake

"I don't know." said Neptune, very relieved that Plutie was back and Sadie was gone. "Well, I mean, it's a bunker and everything like that, but I don't actually know where we are. Or when we are. I mean, this Vert is my Vert, but she's not yet my Vert as she's from the second game while I'm starting off at the end of the third. So we're not all even from the same time period in our own world. This place could be somewhere from anyones world at some point in the past or, maybe, *gasp* the future! Well, not like it matters. I've got my friends here and that's what matters most!" she said before patting IF and Plutie on the shoulders, then Vert right after.

"But... Yea. I'd still like to know what's going on. Those bombers looked like something from Uni's games and all that weird green light... Well.. We're not in Planepune anymore, unless it's somewhere in the distant past or something."

"Wow Neppy~ You're so smart~" Plutia responded, clasping her hands together in front of Neptune and smiling when her shoulder was patted. "Sigh... Your fourth wall breaking never seizes to amaze me, Neptune." "Huh... Did someone say, Nep?" Came from a rising IF as she rose back up from being passed out and awoke to see Vert and Neptune in front of her. "Nep? When did you get here?" "It's a long story, IF. I'll fill you in when we get the time to. Glad to see you've recovered, Iffy dear~" "Thanks... Your warmth kept me going I guess..." "Warmth, eh? Hmhm~" "V-Vert... Not in front of everyone..." "Hmhm~ Couldn't quite help myself~" "Hmmmmm?~" Came from a curious Plutia as she observed the two have their moment, which caused them to stop.

Vortex however was very curious about Neptune more than everyone esle, after noticing that she kept on talking about games. "Excuse me. Neptune was it? What are you talking about when you mean "Game?" I don't think my Universe has that kind of thing, not since everything fell apart while fighting the Darkness..." She then held out her hand and out popped her Ghost, who eagerly floated over to Neptune and hovered above her right shoulder. "I really wonder what exactly you are... You keep on speaking about games and things like that as if you know everything about us."

@Snowtwo

Onru was adamant. "I am not sticking that thing anywhere in me."

"We don't know yet." Munru said. "Mundi, is this supposed to be an implant? Would this damage or conflict with out current, pre-existing augmentations?"

"Is this vital for the survival of your 'Master'?" Irantu added. "Because there are more... humans over there."

His faltering would be because of the new, strange huddle of people that stood a twenty or so meters away from them. Some of them sported colourful clothing, while others wore intimidating armour and suits. He thought he'd seen someone he recognized, but he couldn't be sure. In any case, he needs to hear from the robot first."
